‘Not a single fan approached Rajesh Khanna at the airport after his downfall': Actor Nausheen recalls witnessing tragic sight
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Nausheen mentioned that not everyone can handle success well. 'I saw this in many people while growing up, that not everybody can handle success and being unsuccessful. Because I saw it at such a young age, it didn't affect me,' she said. Recalling an anecdote from the early days, she revealed, 'I was at the airport, and a big Indian male and a female superstar were there. I remember when people used to say things like, 'His car used to become red with kisses' and 'She was the queen of the film industry'. But, not even one single person went to them for an autograph.'

The host instantly asked if it was Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini. Nausheen said yes, and added, 'Rajesh Khanna and Hema Malini, yes. They both were at the airport. I was so shocked. This is how fans are? Aaj sooraj ugg raaha hai toh aapko salaam karte hain aur kal nahi toh aapko bhool jaate hain?'
Reflecting on how the entertainment industry works — where fans adore you at your peak but drift away after a flop — Nausheen shared, 'That moment got etched in my memory. I was around 15-16 years old. I decided that even if I become famous, I'll not let it get to my head, because it's there today, but maybe it won't be there tomorrow. It might come back, or might not. So, you have to be strong enough to hold it.'
Nausheen Ali Sardar is known for the TV shows Kkusum, Ana, Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka, Meri Doli Tere Angana, Kuchh Is Tara, Gangaa, and Barsatein Mausam Pyaar Ka.

Kriti Sanon applauds Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi, praises Sanjay Leela Bhansali for backing a female-led film
Sanjay Leela Bhansali stands tall as one of the finest filmmakers in Indian cinema, often mentioned in the same league as legends like Raj Kapoor, K. Asif, and Guru Dutt. Through his films, he has set new benchmarks in presenting Indian stories with unmatched authenticity and grandeur. A true force in the world of entertainment, SLB has not only redefined Indian storytelling but has also taken Indian cinema to the global stage. One such creation was highly acclaimed and loved Gangubai Kathiawadi, which won 5 National Awards. While the film received tremendous love from all quarters, this time, National Award-winning actress Kriti Sanon has also praised the film and SLB for making a female-led story in the way it deserved to be told. Actress Kriti Sanon was seen praising Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi as she said, 'Take a risk on the subject, not on who's leading it. If a female-led film… the only one that comes to my mind, honestly, that has been at that scale, at that budget, was Gangubai Kathiawadi. You felt like it was larger than life. It would have been the same-looking film even if a man were leading it.' 'And I felt like the budget, the shots, everything was taken in a larger-than-life way. When someone makes an entry, we call it a 'hero shot' — where you make someone look larger than life. That doesn't normally happen when a female is leading a film like that. So I was very, very happy seeing that. At least someone had the guts to put in that much money on a female-led film.' Moreover, The anticipation builds for SLB's next LOVE & WAR. It's thrilling to look forward to the monumental collaboration of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the talented trio of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal on the big screen in the film. The film will be released on March 20, 2026. Add as a Preferred Source

The CM engaged with all sections of the Telugu film industry, holding meetings with producers and representatives of the striking unions. After inquiring into the primary issues that led to the strike, he ensured that a "common solution acceptable to all stakeholders" was reached, resulting in the strike being called off. Revanth had also emphasised that the incumbent Congress govt, with the cooperation of the film industry, aims to transform Hyderabad into one of India's leading film hubs and a true film capital.
