Hamish Blake left panicking as disastrous trophy unveiling turns dangerous on Lego Masters - forcing the show to pause filming

Hamish Blake was left panicking during Tuesday's episode of Lego Masters as a grand moment went awry.
The host was presenting the season's trophy to the contestants and Ryan 'Brickman' McNaught - but it didn't go to plan.
The tall and hefty structure, constructed of Lego bricks, began to wobble, threatening to topple off the moving stand that Hamish was wheeling it on.
Ryan quickly pointed out that the trophy appeared to be losing the battle the gravity as Hamish continued to push it out.
'Mate, if that lands on your head, it'll hurt' he warned and Hamish became hysterical.

The host was presenting the season's trophy to the contestants and Ryan 'Brickman' McNaught - but it didn't go to plan. The tall and hefty structure, constructed of Lego bricks, began to wobble, threatening to topple off the moving stand that Hamish was wheeling it on
'I'm not gonna break your trophy, Brickman!' he shouted in response - but nonetheless stopped pushing it out.
The show then cut to a break while the statuette was stabilised and the segment could continue - the trophy now secure.
It comes after Ryan revealed what he really thinks of working with co-host Hamish.
The Lego Masters star has shared the screen with Hamish for the past seven years on the hit Channel Nine game show.
On the cusp of the premiere of Lego Masters' seventh season - Grandmasters of the Galaxy - Ryan opened up about what it's like working with Hamish.
Speaking to Nine, Ryan admitted that, rather than displaying any diva-like behaviour, Hamish has always been incredibly genuine.
'I'm not surprised by how funny he is, because he's exactly the same guy off camera as what he is on camera. So there's nothing hidden from that perspective,' Ryan said.
'He's just incredibly genuine, like, he's the same guy, so it makes it pretty easy to go to work, I'll be brutally honest.'

The Lego doyen added that when the pair first met eight years ago, they hit it off instantly, bonding over eerily similar hobbies and interests.
'Whilst I'm creative with Lego from a professional point of view, and he's obviously a comedian and media personality-type-guy, we both cycle every day to and from the studio,' he said.
'We're both into footy. We both play golf. There's lots of things that we do that are the same, which made for a pretty easy connection, and we have a very similar sense of humour.'
The chemistry has obviously translated successfully to the screen with Lego Masters proving quite the ratings hit for Nine.
The 2024 series finale boasted a national total reach audience of 1.9million viewers - a figure that remained relatively consistent throughout the season with the premiere bringing in 2.2million fans.
Ryan's ringing endorsement comes after Hamish was revealed to be one of the highest-paid TV stars in the country.
The Australian's TV Rich List report, released this week, places the comedian third in the top 35 highest-paid stars list at a formidable $2million.
He trails behind fellow Nine colleagues Scott Cam, who is on $2.4million and Karl Stefanovic who tops the list at an eye-watering $2.8million.
However, the Brickman is nowhere to be seen on the list, with the lowest-placed star, 60 Minutes reporter Amelia Adams bringing in $300,000.

EXCLUSIVE Love Island axes fan favourite part of villa in blow to viewers as boss gives the show a 'more upmarket and premium' makeover

They're a fan favourite for watching Love Islanders pull those for a chat they're interested in. But this year the much-loved bean bags have been banned from the Love Island villa in an attempt to make the accommodation more luxe and expensive. The famous comfy seats have seen former islanders explore new romances and admit to falling in love. Replacing them this year are now 'Molly-Mae inspired' boucle seats with oak paneling and comfy cushions. Creative Director of the show Mike Spencer – Hayler told the Mail: 'The whole place, we wanted it to feel more upmarket. 'We've gone for inspiration from The Beverly Hills Hotel. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'It's more sophisticated this year. There's no more bean bags and now only lovely chairs. The beanbags have been axed. 'Hopefully it still feels like love island, but a more premium version. 'No more budget than usual though.' Since first being broadcast in 2015, Love Island has proved to be a hit with viewers year upon year. The iconic villa has undergone many changes throughout the years and has always been based in Mallorca. The original Love Island villa, which was used for the first two series was situated in Santanyi, Mallorca. And the five-bedroom villa was snapped up by a mystery buyer in March 2022. The subsequent villa which is still now used for shows is located in Mallorca, in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, which is on the east coast of the island. The villa underwent huge renovations after filming concluded for the 2022 series and last year a secret new Hideaway was revealed which requires 'no invite.' It also boasts a 20m swimming pool, plush sun loungers, brand new day beds and the famous firepit. The cast also have an outdoor kitchen as well as an outdoor shower, a shared bedroom, a ladies 'glam room' and shared bathrooms. There is also the famous terrace where secret chats usually take place, although this year the fencing around it has been made shorter and smaller making it easier for the other islanders to spot what's going on up there. Fans of the show can even book their very own stay at the villa - but it will not come in cheap.

Kate Ritchie's footy star ex-husband is charged with refusing breath test following string of drink driving offences

Kate Ritchie 's ex-husband and former NRL player Stuart Webb has been charged with refusing a breath test. The 44-year-old former Sydney Roosters hooker was pulled over in Sydney by Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command at 11.10pm on May 5. Webb was charged with refusing to submit a breath analysis and driving an unregistered vehicle. He was listed to appear at Waverley Local Court on Wednesday and the hearing was adjourned to be heard again at Downing Local Court on July 9. Mr Webb has previously been caught drink driving by police on five occasions. He was most recently charged with drink driving in 2019, with court documents stating that it was his 'fifth PCA (prescribed contention of alcohol) offence since 1999.' Two of those incidents are understood to have taken place in 2012 and 2017, while he was married to Ms Ritchie. He was handed a six-month driving ban in 2019 and an interlock device was fitted to his car for 24 months. A magistrate had told Mr Webb he was 'lucky he hasn't been sent to jail' noting that his driving record was 'appalling'. The former Sydney Roosters star was placed on a conditional release order for two years. In 2003, Mr Webb was signed by the Sydney Roosters and made his debut for the club later that year. After two seasons at Moore Park, he'd hop over to rivals, South Sydney. A year later, he'd move again, joining up with St George, where he would make 19 appearances across the 2008-2009 season, before stepping away from NRL football. After hanging up his footy boots Mr Webb would pursued a career as a chef. At the end of that season, Mr Webb proposed to radio personality Ritchie during a European getaway. The pair are understood to have begun dating in 2008. They subsequently tied the knot at a countryside outdoor ceremony at Quamby Estate in Tasmania in 2010, but after nearly 10 years of marriage, they chose to part ways in 2020. They would also have a baby girl, Mae, in 2014. Rumours had swirled that their marriage was on the rocks in 2019, with Mr Webb subsequently being hit with an apprehended violence order (AVO) in 2019. The order was made for the Home and Away star's protection. It came as a NSW Police spokesperson confirmed officers were 'investigating an incident at a home in Randwick' where it was understood the couple had lived, but no charges were laid. Conditions of the AVO state that Mr Webb was 'not to approach or be in the company of Katherine Leigh Ritchie for at least 12 hours after drinking alcohol or taking illicit drugs.' He was also required not to threaten, stalk or harass the TV star. Despite that, Ms Ritchie and her ex-husband have reunited on several occasions, most notably to attend their daughter Mae's football matches. Ms Ritchie, who had gone public with new boyfriend Will Skelton, and Mr Webb cut friendly figures as they shared a happy chat on the field. They had also reunited to celebrate their daughter's 10th birthday last year.
