#NSTviral: Late-night shop run turns into 'night safari' for family [WATCH]
A 1-minute and 22-second clip, shared by TikTok user @nurulshaharis, shows the family's encounters during their night drive—and has since gone viral.
Their first sighting was a pig crossing the road. A minute later, they spotted a cat sitting still in the middle of the road, which was soon picked up by a man waiting nearby. Then came the biggest surprise: a long, thick snake slithering across the road.
"After countless cries of 'Oh my God', Alhamdulillah we got home in one piece," she wrote in the caption.
The video has racked up over 100,000 views, with amused netizens flooding the comments and dubbing it a true "Malaysian night safari."
User @biddiboopbeep said: "Please share the location. I'd like to go while it's still free—might get charged later since it's basically a night safari."
Another user @booo commented: "Thank you for taking us along on your night safari. We really enjoyed the trip."
Meanwhile, @meowz asked: "Do you live in Australia or something? There were so many animals."
User @ash added: "If you spotted a tiger, that would've completed the night safari."

Ah Yauddin's hardship went viral after a video of him was shared on Instagram, showing how he tirelessly cared for his wife, who is wheelchair-bound due to stroke. Despite her condition, the man who is suffering from kidney disease continued selling drinks at Pasar Malam Pantai Dalam in Kuala Lumpur to support them both. What moved many even more was the fact that he had been carrying his wife up and down four flights of stairs every day in a walk-up flat with no lift. Caprice, known for using his platform to spotlight social issues, was among those who responded. He tracked down the couple and helped them relocate to a landed home, lifting the physical burden that had weighed on Ah Yauddin for years. Through his initiative, the first year of rent for the new home was fully paid off, giving the couple much-needed stability and peace of mind. But his compassion didn't stop there. Recognising the power of community, Caprice launched a crowdfunding campaign to allow the public to contribute, quickly turning one man's hardship into a shared mission of care and dignity. The response from the public was swift and heartwarming. Instagram users flooded the comments section with words of encouragement and praise. Instagram user @bellazazali wrote: 'MasyaaAllah tabarakallah. Just two days ago, I said in my heart that I hoped someone would help this uncle find a landed home. Subhanallah, the power of Allah — this uncle truly and sincerely loves his wife. Thank you so much, Caprice, for helping and using your platform so that all of us can come together to support him. This is the best content so far. Salute to you.' Another user, @ commented: 'From this uncle's story, we learn three things. First, that true love can last until paradise, InsyaAllah. Second, the importance of patience when facing trials. Third, the value of showing kindness to others. Thank you, Caprice.' User @hafizhamids also praised Caprice saying 'Allahuakbar. You made my day, Caprice. May all your efforts and kindness return to you and your family in the best of ways.' Donations began pouring in, alongside offers of help, messages of hope and expressions of unity. Caprice's gesture gave the elderly couple a fresh start in life. More than that, it sparked a wave of generosity, reminding Malaysians of the strength of compassion and the profound impact of helping others with a sincere heart.

'You're Only Embarrasing Yourselves' – Mixed Marriage Couple Hits Back At Racists Commenting On Their Baby
Subscribe to our FREE The year is 2025. Yet, there are still individuals who insist on making harsh comments about other people's skin colour. Fila, a Malay woman, and her husband Adama, a man of African descent, are no strangers to snide comments people make about their relationship. 'From the first day that we got married until today, we've been criticised by others daily. But we don't care. They can say whatever they want,' she said. Here's an idea of the kinds of inappropriate comments they've received in the past: However the straw that broke the camel's back was when they were blessed with a child, and certain colourist individuals began turning their tongues against the infant as well. 'The attacks have reached our child who is innocent, small, and still a baby. So you know when it comes to a child, parents will get sensitive,' Fila added. People have called the baby 'orang minyak' and suggested that it may not be Adama's child The couple shares a few of the horrid comments they've received about their baby Assara throughout the video, exposing social media users who appear to have no qualms about making racist remarks about a child. 'That's great, you got an 'Orang Minyak' baby,' one social media user said. Another individual said 'That's not your husband's child, they don't look alike', while another suggested they run a DNA test on the baby. 'Why do you guys have to say that? That's not nice,' Adama said before explaining how he and Fila took seven years to have the baby, and finally had Assara through in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Regarding the baby's skin colour, the couple displayed comments about how their child would look better if she had lighter skin. 'If it's dark, it's not pretty at all because the colour of the skin is what makes the body look clean and nice. Be grateful the child is not pitch black and follows the mother more,' one TikTok user said. Adama then expressed how he is happy with Assara, and that he would still be grateful even if she was white, black, yellow or any other colour. 'You think that you are humiliating us, but you are actually humiliating yourselves and your families,' Adama said. masuk2 dlm live tiba2 cakap baby anak haram. eh? kau yg perangai mcm haram. nasib taksempat screenshot sbb live kena banned. kalau tak sampai lubang cacing aku cari. ni baru expose skit comment2 biadab. byk lg. yg beriyanya, org dh block tp gigih g comment dkt video org lain pasai anak kami. kisah sgt pasal anak org apahal Share your thoughts with us via TRP's . #SHOWBIZ: US actor Ross Butler: I'm a durian fan all the way
HOLLYWOOD: American actor Ross Butler has a deep affection for Malaysia, a country he is connected to through his Malaysian-Chinese mother. Despite his heritage, the 35-year-old, who also has English-Dutch roots from his father, never had the chance to truly explore Malaysia until recently. This changed when he was cast in the upcoming romantic comedy 'Worth The Wait', which was partially filmed in the country. In a recent interview, Butler shared his newfound love for Malaysian cuisine. "I love the food, I'm a big durian guy. Growing up, my mum would get the frozen ones from the store. But trying it fresh for the first time was mind-blowing for real. I love it!" he said. 'Worth The Wait' was shot at popular Malaysian tourist destinations like Batu Caves, Petaling Street, and Dataran Merdeka. The film aims to promote Malaysia as a world-class travel destination by highlighting the nation's diverse culture and natural beauty. When asked about his favourite filming location, the '13 Reasons Why' star chose Batu Caves. "It's mainly because of the monkeys and not so much the steps," he said. "Another fun fact – my co-star Lana Condor is very scared of monkeys, and there was a very big one we had to keep scaring away." Directed by Taiwanese filmmaker Tom Lin Shu-yu, 'Worth The Wait' follows four Asian-American couples whose journeys intertwine as they navigate life's challenges. Producers Dan Mark and Rachel Tan explained that the film had been nine years in the making.
