Choosing a Life of Hardships
Talking to Varinder Chawla's YouTube channel, Prateik said, 'Well, I chose this life and this battle. I chose a mother that would leave, and it's because I wanted these hardships. The reason I wanted those hardships was because, I went through multiple lifetimes making mistakes.
This could be the life where I chose my mother and before coming here we made a deal that we live this life together but the deal was 'no, you die, I suffer, I go through these hardships only because I don't want to come back here again.
We don't want to do this again so I feel like I am clearing all my karma in this lifetime.'
Spiritual Bond and Desire to Reunite

Prabhas' horror comedy The Raja Saab gets new release date after delays; clashes with Shahid Kapoor-Vishal Bhardwaj film

Prabhas' first film since the success of Kalki 2898 AD - The Raja Saab - has seen its fair share of delays. After the film missed its April 2025 release, there was speculation that the makers are targeting a release timed for the 2025-26 festive season. On Tuesday, the producers put the speculations to rest with the announcement of the new release date for the film. (Also read: Prabhas' horror-comedy The Raja Saab will not be released in the summer for this reason) According to the release, The Raja Saab is set to hit the big screen worldwide on December 5. Directed by Maruthi, known for Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Mahanubhavudu, and "Manchi Rojulochaie, the film also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar in pivotal roles. Maruthi shared the news on his Twitter (now X) handle. The post featured a film poster with "Dec 5 in cinemas worldwide" written over it. "A day that promises a festival on the big screens just like we all dreamt of seeing our dearest darling #Prabhas. A lot more exciting days ahead… #TheRajaSaab," read the caption. The film's trailer will be out on June 16. The Raja Saab is the only Telugu-language film to have booked the December 5 date so far. Given Prabhas' star power, it is likely that other films will now steer clear of that weekend. The film is expected to open big in Hindi, too, and there, it will see competition from one film. Vishal Bhardwaj's yet-untitled Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri-starrer is also set to release on December 5 and will now clash with The Raja Saab. The upcoming film, produced by People's Media Factory, is described as a 'spellbinding romantic horror entertainer.' The film's music has been composed by Thaman S, and it has cinematography by Karthik Palan. The film will release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

Rajinikanth's Coolie overseas rights set to shatter records with Rs 80 crore offer

Rajinikanth's upcoming film Coolie is generating immense buzz, with overseas theatrical rights potentially fetching over Rs 80 crore, setting a new benchmark for Tamil cinema. Makers are strategically targeting Telugu-speaking states, capitalizing on the success of previous films like Jailer and Leo in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film also stars Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Upendra, and others. The anticipation around Rajinikanth 's upcoming film Coolie is reaching a fever pitch, and the business surrounding the film is already reflecting its sky-high expectations. As per trade sources, the overseas theatrical rights for Coolie are still in the process of being finalized. However, what's making headlines is the massive offers the film has reportedly received for more than Rs 80 crore making it one of the biggest overseas pre-release deals in the history of Tamil these numbers materialize, it would set an all-time record for a Tamil film's pre-release overseas business, surpassing the benchmarks set by previous blockbusters like Jailer, Leo, and 2.0. A final call on the overseas distribution deal is expected to be taken soon, with official details likely to be announced thereafter. Interestingly, the makers of Coolie are said to be strategically focusing on securing a stronger draw from the Telugu-speaking states over the Hindi belt. This shift in focus comes after observing the impressive box office performance of both Rajinikanth's Jailer and director Lokesh Kanagaraj 's Leo in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana — both films posted stronger collections in Telugu states than in the Hindi with the presence of Aamir Khan in the film might bring both the languages on the same footing. Sources close to the production reveal that the team is aiming for a bigger distribution deal from Telugu states given the recent pan-India box office dynamics, where big Tamil films have found increasingly lucrative markets in the Telugu-speaking territories as compared to Hindi share that the number would be in the range of Rs 40 to Rs 50 crore, the only block would be the release of Aditya Chopra- Ayan Mukherji's War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan , NTR Jr and Kiara Advani . The presence of NTR Jr is surely going to impact the Telugu audience as the film though primarily in Hindi will have a wide Telugu dubbed release to cash in on NTR Jr's also features Nagarjuna, Sivakarthikeyan, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan and Pooja Hegde .
