WOQOD announces FAHES Eid Al Al Adha 2025 service timings
WOQOD has announced its operational hours during Eid Al Adha 2025, from 6 - 9 June 2025.
The timings will be as follows:
Al Mazrouah (all days except Friday): 8 am to 4 pm - Gates close at 3:30 pm
Mesaimeer (all days except Friday & Saturday): 8 am to 4 pm - Gates close at 3:30 pm
Normal service hours are to resume from 10 June 2025.

The start of the event coincides with the final rites of the annual Hajj, the once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, observed by adult Muslims. In remembrance of Ibrahim's resistance to Satan, pilgrims at Hajj participate in a symbolic 'stoning of the devil' at the Jamarat complex in Mina, near Mecca. The stoning ritual takes place at the three spots where it is said the devil tried to dissuade Ibrahim from obeying God, represented by three concrete walls. Pilgrims collected their pebbles overnight on Thursday from Muzdalifah, an area located a few kilometres away from Arafat, a hill outside the city of Mecca with great spiritual significance. On Friday, an estimated 1.6 million-plus pilgrims stoned the devil, throwing their pebbles at the concrete walls in Mina. For some, the ritual marks a solemn moment – a complete submission to God. For others, it represents a victory over evil.

Awqaf prepares 710 mosques, praying areas for Eid Al Adha prayers
QNA Doha The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that it has prepared 710 prayer areas and mosques all over the country for worshippers, ahead of Eid prayers. The Ministry of Endowments said that the Eid Al Adha prayer for the year 1446 on the Hijri calendar will take place at 4:58 am. The ministry ensured that the mosques and praying areas covered the biggest geographic areas, so they are close to all the state's different areas, making the prayer easier for everyone.
