3 Wide Receivers To Buy In Dynasty Fantasy Football (May)

After looking into this same topic in April, we're back now that the NFL Draft is in the books. With that said, let's look at 3 Wide Receivers to Buy in Dynasty Fantasy Football.
Wide receiver is one of the best positions to trade for players at because it's a wide open landscape and these players have long careers. While there's a ton of natural volatility in fantasy football, the running back position gets shaken up a lot more than wide receiver on a year to year basis.
Without further ado, let's dive into the three wide receivers that you should buy in dynasty fantasy football based on Keep Trade Cut values.
The first player on this list is a rookie who is significantly more expensive than the rest of these players. If you didn't read my Tetairoa McMillan rookie breakdown, you may not understand just how high I am on him.
To give you the rundown, I'm much more confident that McMillan will be an elite dynasty asset for longer than Jeanty due to the longevity of wide receivers. As a prospect, McMillan showed off elite speed, ball skills and size at 6'4' and 212 lbs.
For reference, McMillan was ranked higher than Ashton Jeanty for me. On KTC, Jeanty is 13th overall and McMillan is 38th, making him an easy buy candidate for me. Although McMillan is expensive, buy him before no one wants to sell.
Continuing on the theme of rookies, Kyle Williams is a great value as well. Prior to the NFL Draft, I wrote that Williams is a hidden gem.
Williams is explosive with the ball in his hand, his releases are fantastic and he dominated man coverage, earning an 89.8 PFF grade against it.
Now Williams is stepping into a situation where he has a chance to contribute early as he was a day two pick (round three). The only other option in that offense is Stefon Diggs, who is coming off an ACL injury at 31 years old.
Getting a chance to be the number one option for rising superstar Drake Maye is an opportunity that you aren't going to want to miss. If Maye, the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, can put things together next year, Williams will also benefit.
CLEVELAND, OHIO - NOVEMBER 21: Cedric Tillman #19 of the Cleveland Browns runs onto the field prior ... More to an NFL football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Huntington Bank Field on November 21, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio. (Photo by)
The last player on this list is Cedric Tillman, who is only 25 years old. Tillman is entering year three and he could have had a massive year in 2024 had he not suffered a concussion in week eight.
Tillman was a strong prospect from Tennessee, going in round three of the NFL Draft and earning praise from legend Steve Smith. In 2024, Tillman had a monster three game stretch where he had 18.1, 28.9 and 19.5 points in weeks seven through nine.
With the Cleveland Browns not drafting Travis Hunter, Tillman is still set to be the WR2 behind Jerry Jeudy. If Tillman can put things together and the Browns can find a capable quarterback, expect Tillman to skyrocket in value.
With May coming to a close, these are my 3 Wide Receivers to Buy in Dynasty Fantasy Football. If you've enjoyed the dynasty content, make sure to come back for more!

Cincinnati Reds place starter Hunter Greene on IL, sign veteran lefty Wade Miley
CINCINNATI — Just minutes before a scheduled MRI, the Cincinnati Reds placed starter Hunter Greene on the injured list with a right groin strain. Greene said he felt discomfort on his last two pitches in the fifth inning of Tuesday's victory over the Milwaukee Brewers and left the game. Tuesday was his third start back from the IL, which was one of the reasons the team returned him to the IL. Advertisement 'We stayed here for a while last night, we talked to him, we talked to trainers,' Reds manager Terry Francona said. 'Since it happened once and this is twice, we've got to figure this out. And then his lower back was starting to (affect him) and we're trying to figure out if it's related. We've got to get him healthy. It was kind of an easy decision even without seeing the MRI.' The Reds signed veteran left-hander Wade Miley to fill Greene's spot in the rotation and transferred right-hander Rhett Lowder to the 60-day injured list. Sunday, Miley exercised the opt-out of his minor-league deal and became a free agent. The 38-year-old is coming back from a hybrid ulnar collateral ligament surgery, which combines traditional Tommy John surgery with an internal brace, that he underwent last May while with the Brewers. Miley made seven minor-league starts this year, including a five-inning, two-run performance last Friday for the Triple-A Louisville Bats. Because he wouldn't be ready to pitch again until Wednesday, Miley said Reds president of baseball operations Nick Krall told him he'd have a place in the team's bullpen, but wanted to let Miley explore an opportunity to start elsewhere. Miley said he talked to a couple of other teams, but was happy to return to the Reds. Miley's family is in Cincinnati for the season, so he spent the time 'being dad' and coaching baseball games and practice for his son Jeb. Miley was already expected to be in the Reds' bullpen on Wednesday, but Greene's injury created an opening for him in the rotation. Francona said Miley would be available to pitch out of the bullpen Wednesday, but if he didn't, he'd start Monday in Cleveland. In 2021, Miley threw a no-hitter for the Reds against then-Cleveland manager Francona's Guardians at Progressive Field. Advertisement 'It was a situation where the five starters here were throwing the ball great, and I was pretty open with Nick, like I don't want to mess with that,' Miley said. 'Physically, I think I'll be fine in the bullpen, but they allowed me to see if there were any starting jobs out there, and at the end of the day, here we are.' Miley, a Red in 2020 and 2021, was a consistent and popular figure in spring training, and Wednesday's news generated excitement in the Reds' clubhouse. 'He was in full uni at 8:30 this morning when I thought I was the only one here,' Francona said. 'It's really welcome. We've been waiting for him, there's no getting around it. He's a bright light, man.'

Diamondbacks Predicted to Trade Former Cy Young Winner Amid Season-Long Struggles
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. An offseason haul that included Josh Naylor, Corbin Burnes and others had the Arizona Diamondbacks looking like the biggest threat to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West. The early part of the season indicated Arizona would indeed be a thorn in the side of the Dodgers and one of the best teams in the NL. The last two weeks have proved the opposite of that, as the Diamondbacks have fallen to 29-31 and fourth place in the division. Because of that slide, Bleacher Report's Zachary D. Rymer has predicted Arizona will move former Cy Young winner Zac Gallen prior to the trade deadline. PHOENIX, ARIZONA - MAY 17: Starting pitcher Zac Gallen #23 of the Arizona Diamondbacks reacts after giving up a home run to Hunter Goodman #15 of the Colorado Rockies during the first inning of the... PHOENIX, ARIZONA - MAY 17: Starting pitcher Zac Gallen #23 of the Arizona Diamondbacks reacts after giving up a home run to Hunter Goodman #15 of the Colorado Rockies during the first inning of the MLB game at Chase Field on May 17, 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona. More"Things have taken a turn for the weird for Gallen since his sustained run as a Cy Young-caliber ace between 2020 and 2023," Rymer writes. "The 32 walks are especially out of character, and the decline in his fastball velocity to just 93.2 mph is also a concern. Yet the knuckle-curve and the changeup still play as bat-missing pitches, and the worst you'll get with him is a guy who can give you six innings regularly. Like with Alcantara, the best you'll get is a No. 1." Along with the 32 walks, Gallen's 5.13 ERA is also another area of concern. He has just four starts this season in which he's allowed less than two earned runs, with Tuesday's outing being the most recent one. He has allowed at least four earned runs in seven of his 13 starts this season, matching the number of times he did that all of last season. Another thing that could factor into Gallen being a potential trade candidate would be his contract situation. He is set to be a free agent after this season, making him an even more attractive half-season rental for a playoff hopeful team. Gallen's ability to improve his season stats, combined with Arizona's failure to improve on its record and playoff chances, could make him one of the most coveted trade targets if the Diamondbacks decide to make him available.
