The India U-19 cricket team is currently touring England for a series featuring five Youth ODIs and two Youth Tests, starting June 27. In the final three overs, the 18-year-old wicketkeeper-batter tore into the English attack.In the 48th over, Pangalia launched two massive sixes off Manny Lumsden, who also bowled consecutive no-balls. He continued the assault with another six off Matthew Firbank in the next over. In the final over, Pangalia wrapped up the innings with a flurry—one four and three consecutive sixes off Lumsden, the last of which brought up his century in just 52 balls. His second fifty came off an astonishing 18 deliveries. India ended the innings at a commanding 442/9.Pangalia's explosive knock included nine sixes, with a clear preference for the leg-side boundary. Representing Saurashtra in youth cricket, the Gandhidham native is also known for a 117-run innings against Australia last October, where he hit seven fours and six sixes. His family now lives in Canada, where his father works as a truck driver in Brampton.
