Drake took to his Instagram story to share a screenshot of the track on the No. 2 spot on the charts after revealing it is held off by Warren's song, with the caption, 'Suppressor on the 1 spot. All we know about Alistair 'Yellow' Douglas today, the musician last seen with missing Amy Bradley
Viewers of Netflix's latest true crime drop, Amy Bradley Is Missing, a three-part documentary examining the sad case of a young woman named Amy Lynn Bradley, who disappeared during a cruise ship holiday with her family in March 1998. At the time, she was just 23 years old. More intriguing still, since then there have been multiple rumoured sightings of Bradley, everywhere from the Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao to Barbados and California – yet her family are still desperately seeking an answer and concrete evidence as to where she could be. In the Netflix series, one person who was pointed out to be a person of interest in Bradley's case was a musician, Alister 'Yellow' Douglas, whose band was playing on board the Royal Caribbean International cruise ship, Rhapsody of the Seas, when she vanished. Reports were made that Douglas had been seen dancing with Bradley in the early hours of the morning before her family raised the alarm that she was nowhere to be found. Douglas always denied any wrongdoing and that he played any sort of rule in Bradley going missing. Here, we take a deep-dive into who Alister 'Yellow' Douglas is, what he's said about Amy Bradley's case and where he is today. Alister Douglas, better known by his nickname 'Yellow' (a nod to his signature brightly dyed yellow hair), was once a vibrant presence aboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Rhapsody of the Seas, thanks to his turn at playing bass guitar in the ship's live band, Blue Orchid. When Amy Bradley vanished in the early hours of 24 March 1998, during what should have been a dream family holiday, surveillance footage and eyewitness testimony placed her with Douglas in the ship's nightclub just hours before she disappeared. The two were seen dancing together, and reports suggest they were also spotted on the deck after midnight. As one of the last known people to see Bradley, Douglas became a key figure in the investigation. The FBI grilled him extensively, and he even agreed to take a polygraph test, which he reportedly passed. Despite the scrutiny, no charges were ever filed against him, and he faded from the investigation as authorities pursued other leads. After the intense scrutiny from media and the police, Douglas became relatively anonymous over the following decades with his whereabouts were unknown – until late 2024, when investigative journalist James Renner, who has a YouTube channel dedicated to true crime, uncovered Douglas's surprising new life. Now in his 50s, Douglas has traded his bass guitar for a Bible. He resides in a remote mountain community in Grenada, where he serves as a reverend. His congregation is small—40 to 50 members—and his church is described as a 'humble shack' perched on the mountainside. But what's perhaps most striking about his new life is his practice of exorcism, a dramatic turn from his days as an entertainer. Speaking on Renner's YouTube channel, Douglas recalls Bradley approaching him after his set and telling him that she played saxophone, her dad was an insurance manager who had recently discovered she was gay and forced her to go on the cruise (something her family have denied), and that she was smoking a lot. "About five minutes to one I said 'I have to go, I have to be out of passenger area' and I left. That was my last conversation, last time I saw her," Douglas states, contradicting the three witnesses who claimed to have seen her on the upper deck with Douglas between 5:30 and 5:45am. Later in the interview he adds, "Around 7 o'clock, I was awakened by a call by the hotel manager and he asked me 'Douglas, do you have a woman in your room?'. It was forbidden, it was forbidden dating [...] And I said 'no' and I asked why, he said 'The woman you were talking to last night in the club, we can't find her'." After, as per Douglas' account, the ship was then grounded and nobody could enter or exit. "Everybody was interrogated," he said. "Lie detector tests... At that time, they didn't say anything much to me, they took the [wires] off me." Douglas added that an FBI agent later interviewed him on multiple occasions, telling him again that he was clear. "I've lost so many opportunities because of this," Douglas shared. "Once my name was entered [into Google] they would say I had something to do with this missing girl and I would lose the contract. "The truth, no matter how long it is, always surfaces." What Is Going on With ASAP Rocky's Album ‘Don't Be Dumb'?
ASAP Rocky has been teasing his forthcoming album Don't Be Dumb by name for over two and a half years, over the span of which he: performed potential tracks on it at Rolling Loud twice, starred in two high-profile feature films, began raising one infant with Rihanna, welcomed another, and now is waiting on the arrival of a third, oh, and beat a felony assault case levied by his former friend and collaborator that could have sent him to jail for 24 years. While there's understandably been some restlessness and perhaps even annoyance (as Rocky has noted himself) towards the delayed arrival of the album, when you put it in perspective, it'll be a miracle if Don't Be Dumb comes out at all. After announcing a few unmet release dates and divulging details about the album in interview after interview, Rocky's concerns about fan fatigue towards updates alone may have been warranted. His last album, Testing, dropped in 2018. 'I'm in the mixing and mastering realm of it, but I think quite frankly, people are tired of hearing about updates about the album,' he told GQ of Don't Be Dumb in February. On July 3, Rocky dropped 'Pray4DaGang' as an Apple Music exclusive for the first 24 hours, seemingly a new look into a new era. However, social media soon noticed that in its tenure on Apple music alone, the song didn't seem to crack the platform's daily top 200 songs chart (meanwhile, that weekend, Rocky's rival Drake released 'What Did I Miss?' and made a spectacle of it with his Iceman stream, drawing many eyes and landing the song high on the same chart). Mid-stream, he announces August 30 as its release date and opens up pre-orders. He tells GQ how the clothing line and the album were connected when asked where the name American Sabotage came from. 'I was working on my album and I was thinking about being rebellious and the stuff that we're not really allowed to talk about,' he says. 'It's not about treason or nothing like that, it's more about deciding to do things from a different perspective, taking the hard way instead of the easy way. And sometimes challenging yourself can come across as self-sabotaging. Exceeding time limits and deadlines, that's self-sabotaging. So it's also about talking about your flaws and the struggle that made you.' August 2, 2024 – Okay, So Now 'Highjack' is the First Single? In the description of an Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe, the streamer calls his song 'Highjack' Don't Be Dumb's first single. 'Most of the songs that I usually perform and shit like that, muthafuckers leak it. And once it's leaked, it's just like, 'Nah, it's not on the project,'' Rocky tells Lowe. August 22, 2024 – Delayed to Fall 2024 Once again, blaming leaks in addition to sample clearances, Rocky takes to Twitter to explain the latest roadblock. 'LEAKS & SAMPLE CLEARANCES ARE DISRUPTING THE ALBUM,' he wrote. 'ITS BEEN 6 YEARS & I WANNA MAKE THE BEST ALBUM EVER. IM SORRY FOR THE WAIT.' In better news, in a Billboard cover story, Rocky notes that his hero, the filmmaker Tim Burton, heard the album and loved it: 'I sat and I played the album for Tim Burton, and he was f—ing with it heavy.' December 2024 – Fall Has Come and Gone; the Album is Delayed Again Fans who pre-ordered Don't Be Dumb box sets, vinyl, and CDs receive a refund email announcing an early 2025 release date. February 2025 – Found Not Guilty in ASAP Relli Assault Trial, Rocky Is Ready to Move On In More Ways Than One On February 18, Rocky was found not guilty of shooting at ASAP Relli after a three-week trial. Just ten days later, he tells GQ he's tired of yapping about his unreleased album. 'The album's done,' Rocky said. 'I just want to drop it. I don't want to keep saying what I'm going to do, and I want to give people what I've been promising them for a long-ass fucking time.' March 2025 – Rocky Performs at Rolling Loud California As one of the popular rap festival's headliners, Rocky began his set aboard a helicopter that had Don't Be Dumb painted across its side. May 2025 – May Show Rocky's Sensitive Side In an interview with Variety, Rocky teases the album's subject matter and a bit of insecurity: 'This fucking album, it represents who I am right now. It's just I hope that it's digestible,' he says. Elsewhere, he adds, 'It's odd because as I get older, I'm more conscious about how I view myself. Describing my life sounds very braggadocious, and I want to figure out how to say it to where it feels more humble, relatable, and sincere, as opposed to just shitting on the next person or making the next person feel down, or just evoking negative shit out of people.'
