Four Barratt and David Wilson Homes West Scotland Lanarkshire site managers win NHBC Pride in the Job Award
Four Lanarkshire site managers from Barratt and David Wilson Homes West Scotland have won an NHBC Pride in the Job Award in recognition of their commitment to building homes of outstanding quality.
Michael Roarty (Eaglesham View in East Kilbride), Alistair Grant (Coatbridge's Calder Gardens), Michael Hastings (Jackton Hall in East Kilbride) and Robert Hamilton (Holytown's Torrance Park) are now rated among the best in the country.
Now in its 45th year, the Pride in the Job Awards recognise the very best site managers from around the country and showcase the highest standard of building homes.
Barratt Redrow site managers have won 115 Pride in the Job Quality Awards this year - more than any other homebuilder for the 21st year in a row, including 11 winners across Scotland.
This achievement highlights how important building high-quality, sustainable homes for its customers is to Barratt and David Wilson Homes West Scotland.
The awards rate site managers against key criteria such as technical expertise, health and safety, consistency, leadership and attention to detail.
They celebrate the vital role site managers play in ensuring new homes are delivered on-time, on safe sites, and to the highest quality standards.

The awards closely follow Barratt Redrow being awarded five stars by its customers for satisfaction in the annual Home Builders Federation (HBF) new homes survey.
To be rated as five-star means that more than 90 per cent of customers would recommend a home to a friend, with Barratt Redrow being the only major national homebuilder to be rated five-star for 16 years in a row.

South Wales Housebuilder Extends Deposit Boost for Key Workers
Barratt Redrow, made up of leading brands Redrow, Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes, has extended its Key Worker Deposit Contribution Scheme to more frontline workers in South Wales. The scheme, which gives up to £25,000 as a deposit, is now being offered to social workers, nursery workers, pharmacists, and a larger cohort of NHS response workers. Originally launched to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the National Health Service, the scheme now supports more key workers to afford a new home by helping to pay their deposit. Amongst those benefitting are workers in the NHS, education sector, police force, fire service, Ministry of Defence, environmental service, National Highways, Transport for Wales, probation and prison services, local authorities, the RNLI, and foster carers, in addition to the newly added services. So far, the housebuilder has given support totalling £63 million to key workers. Under the scheme, eligible key workers are offered £1,000 as a deposit contribution for every £20,000 of a home's purchase price. For example, on a home costing £250,000, key workers would qualify for a contribution of £12,500. Sian Smith, Sales Director at Barratt David Wilson Homes South Wales, said: 'Our Key Worker Deposit Contribution Scheme has already helped more than 3,700 buyers across the UK to purchase a low-carbon, energy-efficient home. 'While mortgage interest rates are starting to come down, many buyers are still struggling to get into a home that fits with their lifestyle. We're now extending the scheme even further to ensure that those who provide essential frontline services can get into their own place.'
