Lorraine Kelly tells Katy Perry to 'just shut up' in furious Blue Origin rant
Lorraine Kelly has admitted that she's "fuming" over the recent Blue Origin rocket flight in a rant on GMB, in which she urged Katy Perry to "just shut up". Katy, 40, was one of the six women to fly in the Blue Origin NS-31 from Texas earlier this month, with the journey sponsored by Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos' space exploration company.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain to tease her upcoming show, Lorraine revealed that she'll be chatting to comedian Joe Lycett about heading into space. GMB hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid then asked whether it would be like the Blue Origin flight, at which point Lorraine responded: "Don't get me started about that. I'm fuming. I'm fuming."
When asked why she felt so strongly about the rocket launch, Lorraine said: "Because they cannot call themselves astronauts. How can they call themselves astronauts when they were up on a jolly for 11 minutes. And there already has been an all-women crew up in space proper - proper astronauts. It was ridiculous.
"That woman with her daisy. Shut up. Just shut up. Go away and leave me alone," she added, referring to passenger Katy Perry.

Serial pest who stormed the stage at Katy Perry's Sydney concert is charged as it is revealed he is a serial offender
A man who shocked Katy Perry when he stormed on stage and accosted her during her Sydney concert on Sunday night has been charged. NSW Police have confirmed the mega fans was arrested after the incident and taken to Auburn police station. He was then charged with two offences - entering enclosed land and obstructing a person in performance of work or duties. The man, identified by News Corp as Johnson Wen, was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on June 23. Wen was also issued with a notice barring him from entering the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct for six months. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It wasn't Wen's first performance, with the rogue fan also storming the stage during the Canadian singer The Weeknd's Melbourne show last year. He even spoke to 7News at the time about his antics, admitting he had been planning his cameo for months. '(There) was way too many security guards, it looked like it was impossible to get through,' he said. 'Somehow I just managed to find a small gap in my section and as soon as I was ready to run on the stage, I ran through that small gap and then I jumped up.' He added: 'I was extremely happy and as soon as I got to The Weeknd I knew that my plan worked.' One user on Reddit also claimed Wen rushed the stage during a recent Sydney show of EDM duo The Chainsmokers. 'That's the same guy who jumped The Weeknd, The Chainsmokers and other artists/public events,' the internet sleuth claimed. 'Whether you like Katy or not, having some stranger violate you in such a way is terrifying. How this guy s even allowed in public is beyond me.' Yet another claimed that the stage invader does not limit his antics to concerts. He has a history of this,' they wrote. 'Looks like he did the same to The Weeknd last year, and ran onto the pitch at multiple cricket matches during the World Cup to harass Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.' News Corp confirmed on Tuesday that Wen, whose Instagram bio reads 'troll most hated', does have form when it comes to unauthosised appearances. In 2020, he received a $250 fine for dangling from a Brisbane footbridge and also received a $220 fine for a pitch invasion at a 2021 rugby union match. Katy, who is on the Australian leg of her Lifetimes World Tour, was performing her hit song Hot N Cold at Qudos Bank Arena when Wen broke free of the crowd and raced up to join her. The 40-year-old pop star appeared concerned and displeased, but continued the performance briefly before addressing the crowd. 'There's never going to be another show like this, so just enjoy it,' she said into the microphone. Security rushed on stage and tackled Wen, who was enthusiastically dancing alongside the pop princess. The man was removed - with some fans at the show claiming he was then ejected from the arena. Some in the audience praised Katy's 'professional' response, with the singer saying to the crowd that it had been 'an eventful 20 minutes' before carrying on with the show as scheduled.

Katy and her team enjoyed a late-night period of rest and relaxation that lasted until nearly 2am, a source tells Daily Mail Australia. On Sunday night, Katy was spotted climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge during the city's Vivid Sydney festival. At one point, Katy joyfully waved to onlookers below and later held up a small rainbow flag with both hands, grinning as she proudly celebrated diversity and inclusion. Last week she stunned onlookers stunned as she took a very casual shopping trip in Sydney's western suburbs. The Roar hitmaker was seen wandering around Lidcombe Shopping Centre on Tuesday, ahead of kicking off her tour. Katy had daughter Daisy Dove on her hip as she stopped into a series of stores. Katy strolled by the Aldi supermarket and discount department store Kmart with her small entourage. She blended in with the locals in a low key ensemble including a grey Celine tracksuit, cap and sunglasses. Tickets to the pop icon's tour, which has received an onslaught of criticism over the last few months, have been in high demand, with the Roar hitmaker announcing two extra shows on the Australian run to accommodate all of her fans. Taking to Instagram in February, Katy revealed she added an extra show at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on June 4 to kick off the Australian leg, as well as an extra Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena on June 7. The Grammy-nominated superstar revealed she had been humbled with the success of her Australian tour, with all previous dates now sold out. Katy will now play a hefty 15 Australian shows. She announced the Australian Lifetimes tour just prior to her turn at the AFL Grand Final in September. The original run included just one show each for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, however fan demand dictated Katy needed to add two extra Sydney and Brisbane shows. Crestfallen Adelaide fans expressed their frustration over missing out on their chance to see Katy in the flesh but they were not left out in the cold for too long. Listening to fan protests, Katy eventually added a run of four shows in the City of Churches. 'I heard you loud and clear Adelaide, I got you!' Katy wrote on Instagram.

Katy Perry left stunned after fan storms the stage at her show
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Katy Perry's concert has been disrupted by a fan who managed to jump up on stage and run up to her. Since kicking off her Lifetimes world tour last month, Katy has faced a string of viral moments, including for her 'cringe' dancing, confronting a fan and nearly plunging into a crowd. Now she's again faced a somewhat unsettling moment after one person at her most recent concert took things a little too far and stormed the stage. Katy, 40, is currently performing in Australia, where she's already played two shows in Sydney and one in Melbourne. But on Monday night footage started circulating online showing a man getting up on stage at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. A clip shared by Pop Crave shows Katy singing her 2008 hit Hot N Cold while standing on one of the circular catwalks in front of the stage that allowed her to get up close with fans.# However, while mid-song and holding a guitar, all a sudden one appears on stage, runs up to her and grabs her shoulder before excitedly jumping up and down. Visibly uncomfortable by the encounter, Katy spun away from the man, saying: 'Well, there's never going to be another show like this, so just enjoy it, Sydney.' Security were then seen trying to drag the man off stage. Soon after Katy exclaimed to the audience: 'What the hell is going on?' Just a few days ago she also faced a near-miss after being suspended by a crane while singing. Realising her risk of plunging headfirst into the sea of people, she was heard exclaiming, 'Oh dear!' However she continued with the song and waved to the arena to assure everyone she was fine. Last month she also narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction at a Las Vegas show when her bra snapped. 'Oh, my bra's gonna come off,' she joked, dancing along while calling to her crew for help. More Trending 'Get my bra back on, Patrick,' she said before turning to the audience and joking: 'Sorry, guys, you didn't pay that much.' After massive demand for her shows Down Under, Katy added extra ones, and will now perform a total of 15 in Australia, where she'll be until the end of the month. Katy is set to bring her Lifetimes Tour to the UK later this year, playing concerts in Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, and London in October. Got a story?
