Facebook user Charlotte Blades took to the popular DIY On A Budget Official page where she proved there's no need to spend thousands to give your living room a glow-up.
The money-smart woman achieved the epic results thanks to bargains from major retailers, as well as using Facebook Marketplace to source some of the interior.
Before the jaw-dropping transformation, the spacious living room boasted cream walls, an old fireplace, as well as a lone lampshade and no curtains for privacy.
But after scoring several wallet-friendly bargains, Charlotte managed to give the room a brand new look - and people cannot believe the difference.
One of the cheapest items in the epic makeover was the new fireplace which she had stumbled across on Facebook Marketplace for a mere £30.
To give the fireplace a more rustic aesthetic, the savvy woman used a wooden pallet - which cost her nothing.
The fresh linen curtains, which gave the room a castle-like feel, were also just £30 and found online on Amazon.
During the makeover process, Charlotte also decided to ditch the plain walls and used a dark green-grey paint.
Fellow DIY lovers can snap up the Woodpigeon paint for just £38 from the home goods store B&Q.
Another new feature in the living room was the gorgeous white rug that Charlotte had found on eBay for £85 - and while that may seem expensive, the rug is of a great size and absolutely stunning.
I transformed my council house hallway for under £60 - the old laminate has vanished but critics say it 'looks cheap'
''So happy with the results! It doesn't have to be expensive!'' said the Facebook user who also got brown sofas from Facebook Marketplace for the bargain price of £120.
'What a gorgeous job you've done'
Since being posted on the popular platform, the jaw-dropping makeover has taken the internet by storm.

Trump to double tariffs on steel imports - as he threatens China
Donald Trump said he plans to double tariffs on steel imports from next week, deepening his trade war which has hit global markets. The US president told a rally of steel workers in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, on Friday that tariffs would be raised from 25% to 50%, "which will even further secure the steel industry in the United States". Mr Trump later said on Truth Social that the new levy - also affecting aluminium imports - would be in effect from Wednesday and that American "industries are coming back like never before". "This will be yet another BIG jolt of great news for our wonderful steel and aluminum (sic) workers," he added. "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" He then said: "We don't want America's future to be built with shoddy steel from Shanghai - we want it built with the strength and the pride of Pittsburgh!" a UK-US trade agreement was signed earlier this month. The agreement said at the time that the US "will promptly construct a quota at most favoured nation (MFN) rates" for British steel, aluminium and derivative products. UK officials told Sky News that the latest hike in tariffs proved "why it was so important that the UK cut this deal". 2:45 Earlier, the US president claimed China had "totally violated" an agreement to mutually roll back tariffs and trade restrictions for critical minerals. "So much for being Mr Nice Guy," he said in a post on his social media platform. In March, Mr Trump introduced a 25% tariff on all foreign steel and aluminium imports as a way to protect US manufacturing and bolster jobs by making foreign-made products less attractive. The rates threaten to make the cost of products using steel and aluminium - such as cars or soft drink cans - more expensive for Americans. He also previously threatened Canada with 50% levies on imports, while the provincial government of Ontario, in turn, threatened to charge 25% more for the electricity it supplies to the US. Canada's most populous province provides electricity to more than 1.5 million American homes and businesses in Minnesota, New York and Michigan. At the time, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney called the proposed 50% tariffs an "attack" on Canadian workers, families and businesses. Mexico, Canada, Japan, South Korea and Germany. In 2024, 6.6m tonnes of steel were imported by the US from Canada, while 3.5m tonnes were brought in from Mexico.

Awkward moment Richard Wilkins is mistaken for Hollywood star while reporting in London - and you won't believe his response
Richard Wilkins was left frustrated this week after fans interrupted a live field report he was conducting and mistook him for his famous Hollywood lookalike. The veteran Today show reporter, 70, was covering the Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning premiere in London, when some locals enthusiastically greeted him - but confused with a Baywatch star. 'Hey, it's David Hasselhoff!' the fans yelped. An annoyed Wilkins did not mince words when reprimanding them for interrupting his report. 'Hey, will you give us a break for five minutes, please?' Wilkins asked. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Richard Wilkins AM (@richardwilkins) The fans later shared the clip to social media and captioned it with: 'Best feeling in the world meeting your idol.' The clip caught the attention of Wilkins himself, who responded with a cheeky comment. 'Don't hassle the Hoff,' Wilkins commented. 'Midnight live crosses can be challenging!' Wilkins and David Hasselhoff, 72, share a striking resemblance, with both sporting tall frames, broad shoulders, and trademark coiffed brunette hair. They both share a charismatic on-screen presence and showbiz longevity into their 70s. It comes after Wilkins shared a very surprising photo with notorious fan of heights Tom Cruise. The Channel Nine entertainment reporter shared an image of himself posing alongside the Hollywood superstar in London as they discussed his latest film Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning. What caught the eye of many is the size disparity between the two men, with Wilkins appearing to tower over the 62-year-old Cruise. The perspective of the photo, with Wilkins more in the foreground, does exaggerate the height difference between the two, although the Today star is quite a bit taller. Richard cuts an imposing figure at 1.88m (or 6'1") while Tom stands at a reported 1.7m (5'6"). 'Tom looks like he's come out of a Kinder Surprise egg,' one follower joked. Alluding to the strange perspective of the image, another offered: 'That photo doesn't look right - I know Tom Cruise is short but the photo looks distorted somehow?'

Wallabies coach responds to speculation NRL superstar Nathan Cleary is keen to switch footy codes - 'might want to spread his wings'
Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt hasn't ruled out NRL superstar Nathan Cleary sensationally switching footy codes, declaring the champion halfback 'might want to spread his wings.' It comes after footy legend Tim Horan turned heads earlier this week when he suggested on Stan Sport 's Rugby Heaven that Cleary was 'quite keen' to jump ship. 'I watched the State of Origin,' Schmidt told reporters on Friday. 'He obviously went to Sacred Heart College in New Zealand when Ivan (Cleary) was coaching the Warriors. That's (All Blacks great) Sean Fitzpatrick country. It's certainly a rugby school. 'He (also) played soccer as a young man. He's played league so, you know, he might want to spread his wings and play another sport.' It isn't the first time the gifted Panthers playmaker has been linked to a shock cross-code switch, and with his girlfriend, Matildas star Mary Fowler based in England, the 27-year-old may also seek a fresh sporting challenge abroad. Signing on with Rugby Australia is another option - and that would be a lucrative decision for Cleary. And with the next World Cup on local shores in 2027, rugby fans are hopeful. Cleary made his NRL debut in 2016, and has gone onto win four premierships with the Panthers. He won a World Cup with the Kangaroos in 2022 - and has also chalked up 15 appearances for NSW at Origin level since 2018. Cleary's current NRL contract with Penrith expires at the end of 2027 - and he also previously stated he would be 'open' to new surroundings overseas. 'I'm not against it,' he said. 'I have a pretty open mind to that kind of stuff. 'Being able to experience different cultures is something I enjoy doing.' Adding to the intrigue is Fowler recently stating she has no desire to play in the A-League Women's competition. 'I'm not going to be playing football in Australia anytime soon, if ever,' the Matildas star said.
