Barcelona vs Inter Milan LIVE RESULT: Champions League updates as Raphinha's screamer puts hosts level once again
BARCELONA have now equalised in their thrilling Champions League semi-final tie against Inter Milan - and all SIX goals have been sensational.
Marcus Thuram scored with an audacious flick inside THIRTY SECONDS before Denzel Dumfries followed up with a spectacular bicycle kick a little over twenty minutes later.
Lamine Yamal scored a solo strike to make it 2-1, and then Ferran Torres temporarily levelled the scoreline.
Dumfries then popped up with his second goal of the night but a minute later, Raphina fired one in from long-range.

Last time out
The last time Barcelona and Inter went toe-to-toe, it was an absolute cracker of a match.
It was a Group C encounter in 2022 which ended 3-3 and had three goals in the final ten minutes
Barcelona's then Ousmane Dembele opened the scoring before Nicolo Barella equalised ten minutes later.
Lautaro Martinez then fired the Italians ahead on the 63rd minute until Robert Lewandowski made it 2-2 eight minutes from time.
Inter's Robin Gosens thought he had won it with a late 89th minute strike.
However, Lewandowski scored deep into stoppage time, forcing the shares to be spoiled.

Lam but not the goat
One of the main reasons why Barcelona are on the road to a great amount of success is down to teen sensation Lamine Yamal.
Yamal, 17, has been incredible this season and has even been compared to Lionel Messi.
However, the Spaniard has quickly shut those comparisons down.
The Barcelona wonderkid said: 'I don't compare myself to him, because I don't compare myself to anyone, and much less with Messi. We are thinking about improving ourselves every day and on being better the next day.
'I don't think the comparison makes sense, with Messi even less. I'm going to enjoy myself and be myself. I admire him, obviously, as the best player in history, but I don't compare myself to him.'

Barcelona's treble hunt
Hansi Flick is on a mission this season to help Barcelona secure what would be a tremendous treble and they've got one crown jewel in the bag already.
The Catalan giants go into this game off the back of an explosive Copa Del Rey final win against bitter rivals Real Madrid.
A extra-time strike from defender Jules Kounde fired Barca to the trophy.
They are also currently top of La Liga by four points with just FIVE games to go so they'll fancy themselves to win the Spanish first division too.
And the Treble could be complete should they beat Inter Milan and then either Arsenal or PSG in the final.
What a time to be a Barcelona fan.

Impulsive Inter
Inter had to fight hard to secure their place in the semi-final but they got the job done at the expense of German giants Bayern.
Bayern's Harry Kane is chasing a first career trophy, but it will need to come in the Bundesliga if he is to win it
Inter Milan were pegged back to 2-2 on the aggregate after Kane's strike in the second half, but they had a huge counter-punch for Bayern.
Lautaro Martinez and Benjamin Pavard scored to put PSG 4-2 up on aggregate, and Eric Dier's late strike could not inspire a late Bayern comeback.

Battling Barca
Barcelona escaped making history for the wrong reasons in their quarter-final encounter against Borussia Dortmund.
The Spanish giants ran rampant at home in the first encounter as they raced into a four-goal advantage.
However, marksman Guirassy would be the man to spark a potential comeback as he dispatched with ease from the penalty spot to kick-start the second leg.
Four minutes after the interval, Guirassy would bundle in a set-piece to add a second.
Chances of a comeback would be halted as a sweeping Catalan counter was fired in by Ramy Bensebaini - into his own net.
Nonetheless, Guirassy's willingness was too much to handle as he was handed his opportunity to complete a perfect hat-trick and took it from close range.

Welcome to SunSport's coverage of Barcelona vs Inter
All eyes will be on the Estadi Olimpic TONIGHT as Barcelona host Inter in the first leg of their mammoth Champions League semi-final tie!
Barca couldn't go into this match in better spirits if they tried, as Jules Kounde's extra-time strike helped them to clinch the Copa Del Rey at the expense of bitter rivals Real Madrid on Sunday.
And 17-year-old wonderkid Lamine Yamal was instrumental once again just like he was for the Catalans Champions League quarter-final win against German giants Borussia Dortmund.
But they now face a resolute Inter, who knocked out Harry Kane's Bayern in the previous round, however, the Italians did recently lose to rivals Roma on the weekend.
Stay tuned as coming right up, we'll have any breaking news, coverage on the atmosphere and the lineups all before kick-off at 8pm.

Jonny Evans makes surprise announcement on future after Man Utd release him
Jonny Evans has been released by Manchester United and the defender remains uncertain about what could come next in his career when he leaves the Red Devils this month Jonny Evans is in no rush to make a decision on his future after it was confirmed he would be released by Manchester United. The defender is set to see his contract expire at the end of the month with no renewal forthcoming. But despite the 37-year-old being firmly in the twilight of his career, no official announcement on a retirement has arrived, though he is expected to do so. The Northern Irish defender is set to reflect on his situation before making a decision over his next steps. Evans is set to end his second spell at Old Trafford having returned to the club in 2023 to take on a senior role in the dressing room and to provide additional depth in United's backline. The veteran probably played more than anticipated making 30 appearances in his first season back to see his contract extended by a further year. Evans was called upon less frequently last term in a difficult season and joins the likes of Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof in exiting the club. Tom Heaton remains in discussions over potentially extending his stay. It had been suggested Evans' departure could mark the end of his career, after Evans noted 'It was stay here or retire' last summer. The defender is yet to make plans however. "I'm not sure yet," Evans told BBC Sport NI when asked about his future . "I'll take a bit of time. I don't feel like I'm in a rush to do anything." In his eight years away from Manchester, Evans spent three years at West Bromwich Albion and five years at Leicester. The central defender added an FA Cup victory in 2021 to three Premier League titles, a Champions League, an FA Cup and two League Cup success across his two stints with the Red Devils. Evans earned 107 caps for Northern Ireland and provided some analysis on where the nation stands during his appearance on BBC. The ex-Sunderland loanee is hopeful his former boss, Michael O'Neill can lead the country to World Cup qualification. "When you've got Michael O'Neill in charge, he gives everyone a little bit of hope," said Evans, "He's taken the team to a major tournament before and if you want anyone in charge, it's him. "When I look at this team it reminds me of ourselves. He's playing five at the back and he has Isaac Price, he's on a good run of form. "You look throughout the team, you see Dan Ballard and Trai Hume getting promoted, they'll be playing Premier League football and that'll only be good for the team. I'm excited. Over the next couple of years I think we'll see them progress together." Join our new MAN UTD WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Manchester United content from Mirror Football. England ‘a work in progress' and have a lot of improving to do
Conor Gallagher accepts there is 'a lot of improvement' to make following a disappointing international break which saw England slip to a first defeat under Thomas Tuchel. England laboured to an unimpressive 1-0 victory over Andorra, a side ranked 173rd in the world, before slipping to their first defeat to African opposition three days later. Despite Harry Kane's early goal, the warning signs were there as Dean Henderson made five saves in the first period, but after Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr drew the visitors level, Habib Diarra and Cheikh Sabaly struck in the second half as boos rang around the City Ground. Gallagher, who was substituted in the second half, revealed Tuchel was calm in the dressing room after the game and is frustrated the next international window is three months away. The Atletico Madrid midfielder said: 'It was a really tough game, but we're still building. There's a lot to improve and there's a lot to work on and, as a team, we'll do that. 'I'm sure the manager and the coaching staff will look back at the game and see where we can be better because there is a lot of improvement to be made, but we're moving forward. 'He's calm. He's obviously disappointed and not happy, but he's calm with us. He knows we could be a lot better. 'It's a shame because we're away from each other for a few months now, whereas he would like to kind of fix the problem straight away, but he can't because that's how it is in international football. 'It's a work in progress and all the lads and the staff and the manager are all confident and happy with the progression. 'We have a lot to build on and improve and that's what we're going to try to do.' England were accused of not showing the right attitude in their narrow win over minnows Andorra. Asked whether they had shown the right application against Senegal, Gallagher replied: 'Yeah, definitely. I think we really wanted to win and I feel like we worked hard. 'I don't think we were great, if I'm being honest. But like I keep saying, it's a kind of work in progress and we need to improve moving forward and we're all happy to be doing that.' Gallagher's focus will now switch to the Club World Cup as he prepares to join up with his Atletico team-mates in the United States ahead of their first game against Champions League winners Paris St Germain at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. He said: 'It's really exciting and I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to be a great tournament. I think it will be really exciting when all the teams are actually there and the tournament starts. 'You want to always play against the best players and the midfielders. Obviously (PSG) had an unbelievable season, so you want to be playing against these guys. We know how hard it will be, but it's good for us and it's exciting.'
