Diane Kruger, Chloe Flower and More Celebrate the Launch of Christian Louboutin Eyewear
'This is my first time playing in sunglasses,' pianist Chloe Flower told the room after playing her first song. 'I can't see anybody but it's great to be here.'
If there ever were an occasion to wear shades inside while at the piano, Thursday night's party was the time. The Nines was cleared out and taken over by Christian Louboutin to celebrate their foray into eyewear. Diane Kruger, Francesca Scorsese, Olivia Palermo, Darren Barnet, Jeremy Pope, Law Roach, Sai De Silva and more turned out for the occasion, which featured a special performance by Flower.

With its red walls, The Nines was a fitting venue for the infamous red-soled shoe brand to throw a party. Guests sipped passion fruit and tequila cocktails while mingling about. After performing several 'popsicle' songs — that is pop meets classical — Flower took to a small back banquet to chat.
'Comfort is always really important normally, but not when I perform. Louboutin somehow matches everything,' she said. 'I constantly am in weird scenarios where I'm dressing according to what they need. Louboutin is always very feminine. I love the design.'
Having released three new singles, Flower will drop her newest album on May 2. Being a role model for women in classical music remains a focus of her career, she said.
'Growing up in classical music, I had never been given a piece of music to learn that wasn't written by a man. From two years old until 25,' she said. 'I didn't know that I could compose until I was in my 20s because it wasn't an option. I think for me that's why promoting women in music and really just being able to bring classical music to a wider audience [is so important].'

Mia Farrow, Andrew Scott and Jean Smart Celebrate the Tony Awards Over Burgers and Fries at the Carlyle Hotel
After the after parties, come the after, after parties. Following the Tony Awards, many attendees flitted off to cast celebrations and the official MoMA party before landing at the annual event at the Carlyle, hosted by Rick Miramontez and John Gore. Upon entering, guests were met with camera flashes before entering into a dark, sea of people floating from booth-to-bar at the hotel, before hitting the back room where a band played songs like 'Come Fly With Me.' More from WWD Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin and Arian Moyaed Host Tony Awards After Party at Pebble Bar Sadie Sink, Cynthia Erivo and Nicole Scherzinger Attend Official Tony Awards After Party at the MoMA How Nicole Scherzinger's Hairstylist Created Her Slicked Updo Inspired by 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' for the 2025 Tony Awards Jean Smart, currently starring in the one-woman show 'Call Me Izzy,' stayed cozy in a booth snacking on sliders and fries, which were being passed around the entire evening. While she remained seated most of the night, it didn't stop people from going up to her and complimenting her performance. The 'Hacks' star graciously chatted with each person, shaking hands and laughing. After several minutes speaking with the star, one guest bragged to a friend: 'We have become very best friends with Jean Smart.…That's all we need in life.' Later on in the evening, she and actress Zoey Deutch, who wore a black, sequin gown, were all smiles, deep in conversation. Equally busy was Mia Farrow who chatted with Andrew Scott and sipped on a glass of white wine. Partygoers weren't shy to go up to the actress and compliment her on her role in the play 'The Roommate.' One fan said: 'You're incredible. We need to see more of you,' to which she very demurely responded 'Thank you. Bless you,' rubbing them on the arm. Farrow was seemingly just as excited about seeing Broadway's finest, as they were about meeting her. Ahead of the event, Farrow was eager to see Jonathan Groff perform and afterward was just as excited to gush about host Cynthia Erivo. Farrow departed at around 1:30 a.m., someone in her party saying it was time to get her home. Ariana DeBose, who hosted the Tony Awards last year, similarly said Erivo's hosting was one of the highlights of her evening…that and 'Jonathan Groff standing on Keanu Reeves' during his performance from 'Just in Time,' she said, laughing. Of course, DeBose, who was in the original cast of 'Hamilton,' also raved about getting to perform for the 10th anniversary during the awards. 'I'm biased,' she said before slinking off to sip her drink in a booth with friends. Meanwhile, Sara Bareilles snaked her way through the party holding up her silver, sequin gown to reveal a pair of white Converse. Busy Philipps arrived with soft pink hair, staying close to a small group of friends throughout the evening. Scott passed off his drink to pose for a slew of photos that lit up the dark bar area with flash. While guests mingled, some were pulled into a private area for interviews. Meanwhile, upstairs, a neon dance floor remained unused at 1:30 a.m., though a DJ did perform. Stations for late night food were also ready to go on the upper level for the inevitable munchies. At 1:45 a.m., a long line was forming of Tony goers still waiting to get into the party, including a large group of cast members from 'Sunset Blvd.' who all raised their hand in unison to let the bouncer know they were all together. Paul Tazewell, who won for 'Death Becomes Her,' slid in the line, just as the 'Sunset' crew was being let in. George Clooney, Sarah Snook, Nicole Scherzinger and More Stun on the Red Carpet Ahead of the 78th Tony Awards
It couldn't rain on anyone's parade ahead of the 78th Tony Awards. On Sunday evening, Broadway's finest, including George Clooney, Mia Farrow, Lea Michele and Tonys host Cynthia Erivo, gathered outside of Radio City Music Hall under a covered red carpet, avoiding the dreary New York City weather. Additional attendees included Sarah Paulson, Keanu Reeves, Sadie Sink, Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams. Much of the cast, including creator Lin Manuel Miranda, Jonathan Groff, Daveed Diggs, Christopher Jackson, Phillipa Soo, Leslie Odom Jr. and Reneé Elise Goldsberry, walked the carpet embracing other stars who were buzzing with excitement for what the performance could be. 'This is a reunion of sorts, but so many of us see each other regularly,' said original cast member Emmy Raver-Lampman. 'It hasn't been this capacity of all 28 of us being in a room together [so] that is something really special.' Of the night ahead, Diggs said: '[It's] strong turn-up vibes. Wherever these cats are afterward is where you're going to want to be.' Attendees were equally as excited to see Erivo host the award show for the first time. 'I am very excited to just watch her sing her face off,' said James Monroe Iglehart, who donned Dolce & Gabana sneakers and is nominated for his role in 'A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical.' Meanwhile, many were eager to see Groff from 'Just in Time,' who also took home the Tony award for best actor in a musical for his role in 'Merrily We Roll Along' last season. Michele, who most recently starred in the revival of 'Funny Girl' walked with her costars Nicholas Christopher and Aaron Tveit from the upcoming product of 'Chess.' While walking the carpet, Michele gushed about her two friends, former 'Glee' costars and nominees Groff and Darren Criss, who she called 'family.' On the carpet, Farrow, who was nominated for her role in 'The Roommate' alongside Patti Lupone, gushed: 'I hope Jonathan Groff is singing.' Farrow also discussed how honored she was to be in the presence of so many Broadway legends. 'I'm in a zone where I have met some really wonderful people in the Broadway community, and that's been exhilarating for me,' she said. 'People I admire so much I get weak-kneed, they're so good and they've been so kind to welcome me, because I'm really not of the community.…I hope to do another play soon. I want to stay [and] keep doing plays.' Actors' Equity Association president Brooke Shields was similarly excited to celebrate all the works from this season. 'It's just nice to see people feeling celebrated. I love this night,' she said. In true Broadway fashion, the carpet included a few surprise moments, most notably a visit from 'The Phantom of the Opera,' who is returning to the New York City theater scene via a top secret immersive experience opening later this summer. Similarly, theater and film fans alike were surprised to learn last week that Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the 'Harry Potter' series, would be reprising his role in 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' on Broadway. 'It's all a bit daunting,' the actor said, adding that he plans to lean on costar and now Broadway regular Daniel Radcliffe for advice. 'I thought it was an elaborate prank when they asked me to do this, and it turns out it's not. I've missed him. Last time I saw him was 16 years ago, and now I get to pick up exactly where we left off, but now Draco is an adult.' He added: 'I know it's familiar. I know how to pronounce the word Potter, but other than that, it's a completely new set of shoes I'm stepping into.' Eager to celebrate Broadway history, many attendees donned looks inspired by current shows and iconic moments in theater history. Shields, who also wore a diamond ring gifted to her by Michael Jackson, sported a bag made out of red curtains from Radio City Music Hall before it was renovated. 'Oh, Mary' creator and star Cole Escola wore a custom Wiederhoeft gown, inspired by Bernadette Peters' look from the 1999 Tony awards. Harry Lennix wore a custom brooch featuring the logo of 'Purpose,' the nominated play which he currently stars in. Meanwhile, Adam Lambert, who recently finished their Broadway run in 'Cabaret,' donned a silver Alexander McQueen suit completed with silver hair, body glitter, silver nails and metallic accessories. Of the inspiration behind the look, they said, 'I was inspired by a Tony award. Literally that was my inspo.' Lambert also said they planned to 'cram in' as many after parties as possible. While many stars, including Groff and Felton, lingered on the carpet mingling with friends, reporters and photographers, many were ushered across quickly. 'Death Becomes Her' stars Megan Hilty and Jennifer Simard hustled across the carpet within minutes of each other. Erivo was similarly rushed in to get ready for her hosting duties. Just as the red carpet was closing down, three of the most talked about stars of the night, Nicole Scherzinger of 'Sunset Blvd.,' Sarah Snook of 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' and George Clooney of 'Good Night, and Good Luck,' who walked hand-in-hand with wife Amal Clooney, quickly scurried in waving hi to all the cameras. Scherzinger closed out the carpet by blowing a kiss as she ran in for a jam-packed night at Radio City Music Hall. How Nicole Scherzinger's Hairstylist Created Her Slicked Updo Inspired by ‘Breakfast at Tiffany's' for the 2025 Tony Awards
Nicole Scherzinger had a triumphant night at the 78th annual Tony Awards on Sunday night at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The musical star took home the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance as Norma Desmond in the Broadway hit revival, 'Sunset Blvd.,' and she honored the monumental night with a hairdo equally as memorable. Styled by celebrity hair artist Dimitris Giannetos, Scherzinger's dark tresses were pulled firmly on top of her head in a sophisticated, slicked-back bun. Her ponytail was twisted into a crown, with absolutely no strands left behind. He said: 'I wanted to give Nicole a very sleek, glossy updo and create a 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' Audrey Hepburn-inspired vibe.' The multistep process of her completing her look began with Giannetos flat-ironing Scherzinger's hair before using the tool to add a few messy waves to give it 'body.' He used both the Moroccanoil Treatment Original smooth frizz hair oil and the Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Extra Strong to lock in the slick back. 'To finish, I sprayed Nicole's hair with Parfums de Marly Valaya Hair Perfume — an elegant floral, musky and woody scent to complement her look. It had all eyes on her and was the perfect finishing touch to her glamorous look,' Giannetos said. Rokael Lizama, makeup artist to both Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and Kim Kardashian, was behind the on-stage performer's bronzy visage. Scherzinger's face was contoured and coated in a warm bronzer to match the shimmery sunset shadow on her eyes. Pink, brown and amber melted together on top of her lids with an iridescent white on her brow bone. Meanwhile, her lips were painted in fiery red to match her strapless sequin gown. Lizama used all Revlon ColorStay products. To start, Lizama prepped the actress' face with the Dieux Skin Ethereal Cleaning Oil and the Baptism Gel Cleanser. He then went in with the hydrating Instant Angel Moisturizer and the chilled Forever Eye Mask. In her teary-eyed acceptance speech, Scherzinger thanked the Tony Awards for making 'this little Hawaiian-Ukrainian-Filipino girl's dream come true.' 'Growing up, I always felt like I didn't belong, but you all have made me feel like I belong and I have come home at last. So if there is anyone who feels like they don't belong or your time hasn't come, don't give up. Just keep on giving and giving because the world needs your love and light more than ever,' she said.
