Mystery as Midland street wakes up to see cars sprayed green
A community has been left "anguished" after dozens of cars were vandalised in an early-hours spree. Vandals targeted 41 cars on three roads in Warwickshire between 12am and 2am on Sunday morning, August 3. Warwickshire Police said the cars, which were parked on three roads in Rugby, were sprayed with green paint and had their windows smashed in. One is wearing a distinctive t-shirt with a logo. Officers continue to scour local dashcam and doorbell footage. A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: "We have launched an investigation after 41 cars were vandalised in the Overslade area of Rugby in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday 3 August) morning. "Between 12am and 2am the cars, which were parked in Saunton Road, Westbourne Grove and Wentworth Road, had their windows smashed and were spray painted with green paint." Chief Inspector Angus Eagles, policing commander for the Rugby area, said: 'This incident has understandably caused a lot of anguish in the local community, and we have launched a thorough investigation to identify those responsible and bring them to justice. 'One of the people we would like to speak to was wearing a distinctive top which we believe to be the Off White brand. There's an image of the top below, I appreciate it's not the best, but we're hoping someone can help us identify the owner. Our CCTV enquiries are ongoing. 'We're continuing our enquiries and appeal for anyone with CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage from the area around the time of the incident to get in touch with us.' 32 bodies found in clandestine graves in central Mexico
MEXICO CITY — Authorities in the central Mexican state of Guanajuato said 32 bodies were found on a property in the municipality of Irapuato and nearly half of them have been identified. The Guanajuato state prosecutor's office said via X Monday that the bodies were found in clandestine graves on the property in the community of La Calera on Irapuato's north side, about 320 kilometers (200 miles) northwest of Mexico City.
