Unique Cliff That Looks 'Exactly Like a Puppy' Has People Totally Mesmerized

Yahoo01-03-2025

Just when you thought you'd seen it all, Mother Nature will still find a way to surprise you. A vacation photo of a unique rock formation taken near the Yangtze River in China has been dubbed 'Puppy Mountain' on the Internet. It has become a viral sensation in China that is quickly spreading.
When you take a look at this photo for yourself, you will see that this one-of-a-kind cliff face along the river does indeed resemble the face of a puppy.
Well, now we have really seen everything, LOL.
It almost looks like a puppy resting its head. It's a pretty uncanny sight, to be sure.
Obviously, the Internet had plenty to say about this one. A few people joked that 'Puppy Mountain' was actually Clifford. Good one, LOL!
Other people had a hard time spotting the dog likeness in the photo.
Fortunately, Instagram user bellevillegirl was able to point it out in their comment when they wrote, 'That kinda oval-ish dark spot is the right eye. It is like looking at the side of the face resting down on something. Not a whole puppy. The tip of the lower rock is the nose.'
According to a report from the Associated Press, this photo was taken by Guo Qingshan, a Shanghai-based designer. Last month, Guo visited central China and took this photo along the Yangtze River.
A while later, he was reviewing some of the photos from his trip when he noticed that this oddly shaped mountain actually resembled a dog's head resting on the ground with its snout touching the water's edge.
Guo told the Associated Press, 'It was so magical and cute. I was so excited and happy when I discovered it.'
The designer added, 'The puppy's posture is like it's drinking water, or it's looking at some fish. It also looks like it's quietly protecting the Yangtze River.'Guo posted his 'Puppy Mountain' photo on the Chinese social media site RedNote, where it garnered 120,000 likes within a week and a half. According to the report, Guo's photo has gotten millions of views.
Since he posted this photo on Valentine's Day, it's become a viral sensation, with many people going to this exact spot on the Yangtze River to see 'Puppy Mountain' for themselves. Unsurprisingly, many people have also gone to this location to take pictures with their dogs.
Some people have even posted pictures of their canine companions, with many people comparing their dogs to see which of them most closely resembles 'Puppy Mountain.'

Papa Johns fan-favorite is now part of permanent menu. Here's what to know

A Papa Johns fan favorite is back — and it's here to stay. The beloved Shaq-A-Roni pizza is now available year-round as a full-time menu item, the Atlanta-based pizza chain announced June 5. The brand teamed up with former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal to launch the extra-large pie as a limited-time item in 2020, and it has made several appearances since then. For $15.99, the 16-inch pizza features more than a half pound of cheese and extra pepperoni, according to Papa Johns website. It's then cut into eight large slices. 'The Shaq-a-Roni isn't just a pizza — it's a slam dunk,' O'Neal, a Papa Johns franchisee, said in a news release. 'I'm pumped that it's now here to stay. It's big, it's delicious, and it brings people together — just like pizza should.' The NBA Hall of Famer owns nine Papa Johns franchises in the Atlanta area and has served on the company's board of directors since 2019, according to O'Neal is also a brand ambassador for the pizza chain. Nara and Lucky Blue Smith Are Expecting Another Baby—Less Than a Year After Saying They Were ‘Done'

Model and content creator Nara Smith first crossed paths with fellow IMG model Lucky Blue Smith in 2019. Within a year, the two had quietly tied the knot, started a family, and begun building the life that would later turn them into one of TikTok's most recognizable couples. While they've kept many details of their personal lives private, both have occasionally opened up online or in interviews about their relationship, family life, and being in the public eye. Since their wedding in 2020, they've welcomed three children together and amassed a massive following across social media—largely due to Nara's cooking-from-scratch videos, often shot in their home kitchen. Below, a full timeline of their relationship so far. Nara and Lucky met during Milan Fashion Week while both were working as models. Shortly after, Lucky initiated contact by messaging Nara on Instagram. According to the couple, they moved from texting to a seven-hour phone call—and have spoken daily ever since. 'There hasn't been a day since that day that we've not been talking,' Nara shared in an April 2025 Vogue interview. 'I messaged Nara on Instagram, we started texting a little bit, I was very slow at texting,' Lucky revealed in the interview. 'I like to take my time with what I'm going to say.' Nara quipped, 'Five business days?' That fall, they made their relationship public on Instagram. Lucky reportedly proposed to Nara in 2019. Nara later revealed she developed a crush on Lucky years earlier after seeing him appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. 'After we got married I was thinking about our journey and realized that at 15 I saw an Ellen interview with Lucky and had a crush on him but then forgot about it until later 😭,' she wrote in a December 2024 Instagram post. Nara and Lucky got married in a small beach ceremony in California. Nara shared a video from the day captioned, 'I married my best friend today.' The couple welcomed their first daughter, Rumble Honey Smith. Nara shared the news on Instagram with the caption, 'little baby angel Rumble Honey 10/7/20.' Nara gave birth to their second child, a son named Slim Easy. For his birthday the following year, she posted a video of a homemade donut tower to mark the occasion, writing, 'Can't believe how quickly time flies and how I've got a 2-year-old best friend now.' Their third child, daughter Whimsy Lou, was born. Nara announced her arrival on April 11 with a short video captioned, 'Our little angel has arrived!' The couple said they are not planning to have more children. 'Yep, I'm done,' Nara said in a GQ video, echoing Lucky's sentiment. They explained that while they originally envisioned a larger family, three children now feels like the right number. Nara and Lucky attended the Ralph Lauren Spring 2025 show in the Hamptons as part of New York Fashion Week. Lucky walked the runway, and the couple shared a few moments on camera together. Around the same time, they revealed plans to move to the East Coast, explaining in a TikTok video that they're hoping to settle somewhere quieter with more space for gardening and raising their family. Nara posted a throwback clip of Lucky's 2019 proposal to mark their five-year engagement anniversary. In the caption, she reflected on how their life has unfolded since, writing, 'I wish I could tell 18-year-old me just how beautiful life would become.' Nara and Lucky revealed they are expecting their fourth child. In a reel posted to Instagram and TikTok, Nara approached Lucky in a flowing cream blouse and skirt before gently cradling her growing baby bump. Lucky placed a hand on her stomach and kissed it as they smiled toward the camera. 'Our little surprise,' she wrote in the caption, adding 'baby 4 loading...' over the video. The announcement came nearly a year after the couple said they were done having children. They've yet to share how far along Nara is or the baby's gender. This story will be updated.
