Forward MUST take pay cut to get ideal transfer
Forward MUST take pay cut to get ideal transfer Serie A sides fight for Nunez But now a new report in Caught Offside claims another three clubs in the Italian top flight want Nunez. 'Juventus, Roma, and Inter Milan all keeping tabs on the Liverpool striker this summer,' the report states. Advertisement Nunez came close to leaving Liverpool back in January - with two Saudi Pro League sides making attempts to sign him. The Reds opted against selling Nunez back then as a result of too few replacements being available in the market. But the situation has changed slightly. Nunez would command an incredible salary in Asia but right now it's not a move he appears willing to make. Darwin must take pay cut Instead, he would be choosing to remain in Europe for football reasons. That's because no Serie A side currently interested would be able to offer him a salary comparable to what he's on at Liverpool. Advertisement 'Any move for Nunez would require him to agree to a significant wage reduction to make the switch to Serie A,' the report states. © IMAGO Nunez out, Osimhen in? Nunez makes around £140k per week on a contract which sees him tied to Anfield until 2028. He was Liverpool's record signing - costing up to £85m - until the Reds topped that sum in the Florian Wirtz deal last week. It's not worked our for Nunez at Anfield - despite his status as a Premier League champion. If one of his many suitors in Italy can come forward with an appropriate bid then expect him to move this summer. Then we could see operation Osimhen activated once again.

Alvaro Morata in talks over surprise move to Como
Serie A club Como are in concrete talks to sign AC Milan striker Alvaro Morata this summer (h/t Fabrizio Romano). The Spaniard joined Milan in a €13 million deal last summer but was loaned out to Galatasaray just after six months. Advertisement The Turkish giants have multiple buy options for Morata, whose loan runs until January next year, but the former Juventus star is eager to terminate his contract prematurely. Neither does Morata want to stay at Milan, despite the reports that manager Massimiliano Allegri plans to count on him next season. The Rossoneri would be willing to offload the 32-year-old – who has a contract running until June 2028 – to generate funds for new signings. They have lined up Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic as the top striker target in the transfer window. Despite interest from Getafe and Sevilla, Morata appears to be persuaded by Como's project, led by his compatriot and manager Cesc Fabregas. Advertisement The Spanish gaffer has been in constant talks with Morata to convince him to become the new central figure of the Italian underdogs. Both previously played together at Chelsea. Morata's form has nosedived in recent years, enduring difficult spells at Atletico Madrid and Milan. His penalty miss in Spain's defeat against Portugal in the Nations League finals earlier this month further piled on the criticism. Nevertheless, the 32-year-old showcased his quality in Gala's road to the Super Lig title last season, bagging six goals and three assists in 12 games. His contributions to Spain are also noteworthy. He is the fourth-highest scorer with 37 goals in La Roja's history and played a key role in the European Championship triumph last year. Advertisement Fabregas has been doing an impressive job at Como with an exciting squad. He led them to a 10th-place finish in Serie A last season whilst playing an attractive brand of football. He is looking to take Como to new heights by bringing in Morata.

(Photo by) After failing to sign AC Milan's Theo Hernandez, Atletico Madrid have turned to Augusto. However, the 26-year-old will stay at Inter and continue his growth under new boss Cristian Chivu. Considered vital to Chivu's project, Augusto could become a regular starter next season. Indeed, he has already demonstrated his class in the FIFA Club World Cup early stages. Advertisement Therefore, Inter won't listen to offers. On the other hand, the Spaniards must turn to other targets to reinforce the left flank. Liverpool's Andy Robertson and Roma's Angelino are reportedly on their shopping list.
