Keke Palmer Channels the Roaring ‘20s in Plunging Oscar de la Renta Dress for Hosting the Fashion Trust Awards 2025
Keke Palmer channeled the roaring '20s for her hosting stint attire at the Fashion Trust Awards 2025 on Tuesday in Los Angeles. The multi-hyphenate talent joined a bevy of A-list stars and some of the fashion world's biggest names, like Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello and more.
For the special occasion, Palmer took inspiration from the 1920s, giving her look a 2020s spin. The 'Master of Me' author wore an archival look courtesy of Oscar de la Renta, sourced by Tab Vintage. The sleeveless gown featured a plunging neckline and halter silhouette with a sleek bodice in a shade of dusted gold.

The drop-waist skirt of the floor-length dress featured a bevy of feathery adornments, adding textural juxtaposition as well as a 1920s vibe to the garment. The bodice of Palmer's dress also included gold encrusted fabric, shimmering under the flashing lights of cameras on the red carpet.
When it came to her accessories, the 'One of Them Days' actress opted for a statement necklace, earrings and rings courtesy of Los Angeles-based brand Shay Jewelry. As for her glam, Palmer's auburn hair was styled with voluminous curls and her makeup featured bold brows, long lashes and a neutral lip. Palmer's look was curated by stylist Molly Dickson, who's also worked with Sydney Sweeney and Sadie Sink, among others.
Palmer was just one of several celebrities and distinguished guests who attended the Fashion Trust Awards on Tuesday. The actress was also joined by such stars as Hailey Bieber, who handed out the inaugural Honorary Awards to Saint Laurent's Anthony Vaccarello.
Bieber opted for sleek, modern elegance with her attire, wearing an aubergine dress courtesy of Saint Laurent. Bieber is a longtime collaborator of the French luxury fashion house, appearing in several campaigns for Saint Laurent.
The Fashion Trust Awards, a nonprofit supporting emerging designers, announced the 2025 award winners at the organization's third annual awards ceremony at Los Angeles' The Lot at Formosa on Tuesday night. The event was hosted by Keke Palmer and featured such stars as Ciara, Kate Hudson and Colman Domingo. Awards ranging from ready-to-wear to jewelry, accessories, a recent graduate, and the special award for sustainability were handed out.

‘Ultimate Icon' winner Jamie Fox on celebrating his second chance at life
Jamie Foxx struggled to hold back tears as he was honoured with the Ultimate Icon Award at the 2025 BET Awards. 'I cannot even begin to express the love that I feel from everybody out there,' the comedian and actor said as he accepted the award that acknowledges his remarkable contributions to the music industry. 'I have so much love to give, I told God, I said, 'man, just give me one more crack at this',' he continued, his eyes brimming with tears. 'I said, 'for whatever reason you put this on me, I promise I'm gonna do right'. And I'm gonna do right in front of you all because I know a lot of times when we get on, we forget about where we come from.' He went on to thank the black community for their unwavering support, expressing gratitude for how they've carried him and stood by him throughout his career. In addition, Jamie (57) thanked God for giving him a 'second chance' at life after his stroke in April 2023. He had previously shared how he experienced a severe headache before passing out. Unbeknown to him at the time, he was suffering bleeding in his brain. 'I was fighting for my life,' he recalled in his Netflix special, What Had Happened Was... 'It's a mystery, we still don't know exactly what happened to me [and] all I can tell you is that I appreciate every prayer because I needed every prayer.' 'I got some jokes and a story to tell,' he wrote on Instagram. The actor returned to co-host the seventh season of Beat Shazam with his daughter Corinne (31) in May last year, after Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne stepped in to host season 6 during his health scare. Last year, Jamie also had the honour of walking his daughter down the aisle at her October wedding to Joe Hooten. 'It was incredibly special, considering his health scare last year,' Corinne said. Even though his lead role in Ray in 2005 earned him a best actor Oscar, Jamie says he considers the Icon Award to be the most important accolade of his career. 'A lot of people think, like, the Oscars is the biggest thing, and we got to quit thinking like that,' he says. 'I say this all the time, thank you to black people and the black award, because this is what really counts.'

Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem is leading the Billboard 200 for a third straight week. The country project launched with one of the largest opening sums in recent memory — and certainly the biggest thus far in 2025 — and it has refused to budge ever since. The lengthy set hasn't faced any serious competition for the throne on Billboard's ranking of the most consumed albums in America, and it might not for a while, as it continues to rack up massive consumption figures each frame. I'm the Problem earns its third stay at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 thanks to 246,000 equivalent units shifted. That figure represents a 14% dip from the previous period, yet it still easily secures the top spot. No other title in the U.S. managed even 50,000 units this week, so Wallen safely holds onto his grip on the peak position. While I'm the Problem holds at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts, it does finally begin to descend on other tallies. This frame, it dips to No. 3 on the Top Album Sales ranking, landing behind Seventeen and Cyrus's new collections.
