Oral-B's £430 electric toothbrush that whitens teeth is slashed to £150 in Amazon Tech Week sale
Amazon shoppers say the Oral-B electric toothbrush made their teeth 'less discoloured' and had 'never felt so clean' and you can now save 65% on it as its slashed to £150
When Amazon launched its last minute Tech Week sale we knew we would find some great bargains, but we weren't expecting to instantly spot a saving of almost £300. However that's exactly what you get with the Oral-B iO7 Electric Toothbrush, which now has £280 slashed off it in the big tech sale.
Usually priced at £430, the Oral-B iO7 Electric Toothbrush is now on offer with 65% off, slashing the price to a much more affordable £149.99. The offer applies to both the white and black versions of the toothbrush, and you'll get the app-connected handle, three individual toothbrush heads, a travel case and a holder for your extra heads.
As well as its big saving, the toothbrush has proven popular with Amazon shoppers thanks to its five different settings, which help with everything from teeth whitening to plaque build up. The Oral-B iO7 Electric Toothbrush promises to remove 100% more plaque and make your gums 190% healthier than regular brushing, with just one week of use, which helps keeps your mouth healthier.
The handle can be connected to the Oral-B app, which gives you a personalised brushing routine and guidance, and the display shows you everything from your cleaning mode to the battery life or when you need to replace a brush head. The AI powered app tracks how and where you're brushing in real time, making sure you never miss a spot and encouraging better brushing habits.
You can switch between each of the five different settings, including an intense setting to help remove more stubborn plaque and build up, and a whitening setting which prioritises stubborn stains and removing discolouration. Whichever option you choose will still ensure a thorough, quiet and gentle clean though, making it suitable for sensitive teeth and gums too.
If you want to get even more for your money, you can currently pick up the multipack of Oral-B iO7 - Black & White Electric Toothbrushes directly from the Oral-B website, where the bundle is on offer down from £652 to £316. If you want to upgrade even further, the Oral-B iO8™ Electric Toothbrush White Alabaster & Black Onyx Duo Pack is now £255 down from £650 at Boots.
Alternatively you can get the SURI Sustainable Electric Toothbrush which is also currently on sale with 15% off. Usually priced at £75, it's now £63.75 and uses sonic vibrations to make sure your teeth get an extra thorough clean.
Amazon shoppers who snapped up the Oral-B iO7 Electric Toothbrush, though, have given it a 4.6 star rating, with one saying: 'Bought in February after a tonne of research and comparing different toothbrushes. As it was on sale, still expensive though, I thought I'd give it a go. I am not disappointed! Great toothbrush, lots of different settings, really good battery life - full charge lasts a week with brushing twice per day. My teeth somehow feel cleaner after using this - old electric toothbrush was a more basic Oral-B model. The Intense & Whitening modes really have made a difference, I've noticed my teeth are less discoloured with just a basic whitening toothpaste, and I get that super fresh & clean feeling. I like the fact it gives a smiley face with stars for eyes after brushing properly, and an unhappy face after brushing unsatisfactory! I totally recommend this toothbrush.'
One was less impressed, writing: 'Bought this to replace an old Oral-B brush. This was quite effective but it's very expensive compared to the previous versions. It's also very messy and noisy. I've since switched to another brand which is much quieter.'
But a third was thrilled, saying: 'It was time for me to upgrade from a really old electric toothbrush I had and I thought I'd take the plunge on the more expensive side to really get the best out of my brushing routines. I'm honestly disappointed I hadn't done it sooner because it really felt like it was making love to my teeth lol it really felt so nice and it was so comfortable. My teeth have never felt so clean. The app is really helpful as well. It logs how long you brushed for and shows if you were applying enough pressure or not enough and it will show you how long and in the time you were brushing where you wasn't applying enough pressure. Which is insightful, as it helps encourage better brushing habits. I am really pleased with it and I'm so glad I decided to go for it. Can't wait to brush my teeth again.'

Ninja 'non-stick' pan drops to £19 in Amazon sale as shoppers buy more in the range
'This is the first pan I've had in my 20 years of adult life that's actually non-stick and needs no oil.' While many people enjoy the art of cooking and making delicious meals, not so many of us enjoy the clean up afterwards - especially if stubborn excess food is stuck to our cooking appliances and refuses to come off. In order to reduce this issue, many brands have come out with non-stick products to make your cooking experience more enjoyable. One such brand is Ninja. Mostly known for their high-tech Air Fryers, the brand also sells a whole host of kitchen essentials. One of which is the ZEROSTICK Essentials Cookware 20cm Frying Pan. Normally retailing for £30, Amazon has slashed the must-have kitchen appliance down to £18.49 in a limited time deal. Made from long-lasting forced aluminium, the Ninja ZEROSTICK Frying Pans are designed to be up to 20 times tougher than traditional non-stick pans, reports Birmingham Live. Compatible with ceramic and induction hobs, the pans are also said to be oven safe up to 260 degrees. Perfect for frying crispy bacon, sizzling steaks, pancakes, eggs and much more, this pan allows users to cook with little to no oil. Without compromising on cooking performance, food can easily slide out of the pan without sticking. Equipped with stainless steel handles, the Ninja frying pan is also said to be metal utensil safe, dishwasher safe and scratch resistant. For those in need of some new cookware, the Ninja collection may be a good range to consider. Alternatively, Amazon is also selling the Tefal Titanium Essential Frying Pan for £19. With a size of 20cm, this frying pan is designed to be compatible with all hobs and is equipped with Tefal's Thermo-Signal technology which indicates the ideal time to start cooking. Over on Argos, the Tower Smart Start Classic 28cm Aluminium Frying Pan is retailing for the slightly cheaper price of £15. With a built-in temperature sensor that "lets you cook like a pro", the Smart Start tick will change to dark red to let users know when it is time to start cooking. Back to the Ninja non-stick frying pan, it currently has a 4.6 star rating from over 2,300 Amazon shoppers. On top of this, over 900 people have bought the frying pan in the last 30 days, with some coming back and saying that it "works perfectly". One happy shopper said: "I spent more than I usually do on this pan, and honestly, it's well worth it. The construction is solid and weighty, the non stick is great and the heat retention is the best I have come across. Things keep cooking ( and staying warm ) long after I have switched off the hob. A great purchase." Another added: "I'm always a bit sceptical of extensively hyped products, but this pan really is good: substantial with a securely fitted handle. Six months on, the non-stick is excellent and it actually is possible to cook with a minimum of oil without anything sticking. We've gone on to buy three more items in the same range." However, one shopper wasn't happy with the size of the pan, writing: "It was not the size I was expecting. The actual frying area is only 15cm diameter, my last "20cm" fry pan had an 18cm diameter frying area - quite a difference. I am not sure I want to keep it so I haven't tried it out." Another shopper also grumbled: "Good quality frying pan with excellent non stick characteristic that matches manufacturers description. However, only works on my induction hob small rings and not the large ones, hence, me giving it four stars and not five." Despite this, a five-star reviewer added: "Use this everyday nearly. Fantastic little pan, great for making omelettes. Non-stick so easy to clean, and made from quality materials, so it's very sturdy." A sixth customer also wrote: "Often pan adverts show you cooking fried eggs, without needing any oil - they're all rubbish! This is the first pan I've had in my 20 years of adult life that's actually non-stick and needs no oil. "I love we can use it on the hob and put straight into the oven. I love that. After six months of being in the dishwasher most days, it still works perfectly." For those who want to buy the Ninja ZEROSTICK Essentials Cookware 20cm Frying Pan, click HERE. Three Amazon Fire TV gadgets to lose access to Netflix FOREVER in three days – final warning to upgrade
that were also roughly a decade old Last year, the Netflix app vanished from dozens of Sony and Apple TV models that were also roughly a decade old BURNT OUT Three Amazon Fire TV gadgets to lose access to Netflix FOREVER in three days – final warning to upgrade NETFLIX is pulling its app from three Amazon Fire TV gadgets next week - so your subscription might be worthless unless you upgrade your tech. From 3 June, two Fire Sticks and a Fire TV box will lose Netflix forever. Advertisement 2 First-generation Fire TV Stick Credit: Amazon 2 First-generation Fire TV box Credit: Amazon The shutdown affects the first-generation Fire TV box, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Stick with Alexa voice remote - Amazon's oldest telly products. They are all more than a decade old. Even Amazon quit support for the devices several years ago - meaning they no longer receive software or security updates. But if you still use your OG Fire Stick, you should have received an email from Netflix warning of the upcoming change, according to PC World. Advertisement The first-generation Fire TV devices will continue to work as they have done - simply without Netflix. They have all the other apps, such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, Prime Video and Disney+ - for now. It's worth noting that like Netflix, other platforms may too decide to pull their services from ageing tech later down the line. Affected viewers who want to continue having uninterrupted access to Netflix will have to buy a newer Fire TV gadget - or a telly streaming rival like a Roku Stick or Google Streamer. Advertisement If you don't want to upgrade to a new Fire TV device, you should cancel your subscription, to avoid paying fees on something you can't watch. Legal ways to slash your Roku and Amazon Fire Stick TV bills by 100% – and Netflix 'plan swap' saves you money The streaming giant hasn't said exactly why it's pulling support for older gadgets. Last year, the Netflix app vanished from dozens of Sony and Apple TV models that were also roughly a decade old. A report from CordBusters noted that the decision was likely put down to newer video standards. Advertisement When streaming services start using newer technology, older devices may not have the necessary hardware or software to support the advancements. That's why some gadgets stop receiving new features, or are unable to stream in 4K picture quality. It's worth noting that while older devices don't necessarily need new features or better picture - security updates are always helpful. Security updates patch any bugs that can be exploited by cybercriminals, or fix glitches that can hinder your use of the device. Advertisement

IT'S very important to know your rights if you are embroiled in a fence row with a neighbour. How do I know which side I own? A boundary feature can be a fence, wall, hedge, ditch, piece of wire, or sometimes even just the edge of a driveway. The only way to know for certain who owns what side and to avoid any neighbour disputes, is to refer to the title plan or Land Registry. In this, the T mark is used to indicate who the boundary belongs to and therefore who is responsible for its upkeep, say pros at Jacksons Fencing. Larger developments tend to have some indication provided by the builder, but there are no hard and fast rules People often think they are responsible for the left (or right) hand boundary wherever they live, but there isn't any legal basis for this. You can check with HM Land Registry to see which boundary feature you are responsible for. Often households can't get hold of the paperwork but experts say they shouldn't panic. Homeowners can guess who owns the fence by checking where the rails are. Pros say: "The fence is typically facing away from their property so that their neighbour gets the 'good' side. 'This is the most secure way of facing fencing so there are no rails for anyone to use to climb into your garden. 'This is then repeated with the neighbour on the other side to ensure that each home has both a 'good' and 'bad' fence side.' Walls and fences are often built on the land of the boundary's owner with the edge of the wall marking the limit. While professionals agree a glimpse at the fence can give you a hint, it's not foolproof - so you can't be certain. Fines and punishment It is recommended to always check legal documents before making changes to avoid hefty fines. There is no law that the neighbour has to get the good side of the fence, so it's completely up to whoever owns the fence. Fencing pros have suggested: 'It may be worth selecting a double-sided panel with no 'bad' side as both sides look the same and rails are concealed within the fence panel.' If one boundary backs onto a road or footpath you can install the panels with the rails on the inside But if it's installed on the outside, it can provide an 'easy ladder for burglars to enter your garden'. The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Property Litigation Association have created a mediation service to help neighbours resolve disputes over their property boundaries without resorting to court action. RICS also provides a list of surveyors who could assist in boundary disputes. If a dispute continues, it is ultimately a court that makes decisions, but they do not like such disputes being put before them. Changing a boundary If you want to change an existing boundary, such as replacing an old fence with a new one, we always recommend discussing with your neighbour first and making sure it is all agreed. The registered titles can help you to reach an agreement, but only if this information has been added. In terms of decorations on a fence legal advisers recommended asking around over who actually first installed it. But they also urged caution before getting to work on amending the fence without getting more certainty yourself - since there is a danger of actually being prosecuted for criminal damage. How high can a garden fence be? The height of the fence is measured from your ground level, this can have an impact when, due to slopes in the ground, your garden may be at a higher level than your neighbours '. A garden fence can be as high as 100m but you need to get planning permission if it's over than 2m. However, there are some complications to this. If you are thinking about front garden fences, restrictions state that fences alongside a driveway can be a maximum of 1m or 3ft. You would need to get planning permission for putting a trellis on a fence of 2m. But, if any plant that you grow on that trellis exceeds 2m, you do not need to obtain a permit for the growing plant.
