Bruno Mars is never absent from Billboard's global charts these days, whether he's pushing something brand new or fans are focusing their listening on the tracks that made him a superstar years ago. The singer-songwriter regularly fills multiple spaces on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S., and this week is no exception, as the Grammy champion appears with several favorites – including one which rebounds onto both tallies.
"Locked Out of Heaven" breaks back onto both Billboard's lists of the most consumed songs around the world and the most popular tunes globally, with U.S. streams and sales excluded. The decade-plus-old smash reenters the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at No. 162, and it comes in at No. 174 on the Billboard Global 200.
"Locked Out of Heaven" has already spent at least two years on both of these rankings. It even reaches the 104 week-milestone on the Billboard Global 200 as it returns. Despite its longevity, the track has never climbed into the top 40 on either list.
Mars sits just below the top spot on both rankings with a pair of smashes — ones which have already become some of the biggest hits in the history of these rosters. "Die With a Smile," his collaboration with Lady Gaga, remains steady in the runner-up space on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. At the same time, "Apt," which saw Mars team up with Blackpink star Rosé, is a non-mover in third place on the two rankings.
In between "Die With a Smile," "Apt.," and "Locked Out of Heaven" comes "Just the Way You Are," Mars's first solo smash, and it is growing in popularity around the world, which happens from time to time. This week, it leaps more than 30 spaces on both the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and Billboard Global 200, settling at Nos. 145 and 156, respectively. Just like "Locked Out of Heaven," the track has lived on these lists for a long time but never managed to become a top 40 smash.

J.J. Spaun Proudly Represents His Parents' Filipino and Mexican Heritage

J.J. Spaun Proudly Represents His Parents' Filipino and Mexican Heritage originally appeared on Athlon Sports. J.J. Spaun leans on his parents' Mexican and Filipino heritage as the golfer proudly represents his family's nationality on the PGA Tour. J.J.'s success on the PGA Tour could help open doors for others as the organization continues to aim to diversify the sport. Advertisement As J.J. impresses at the U.S. Open, the golfers' parents, John and Dollie, paved the way for his success. J.J.'s dad, John Spaun, is happy his son gave up his original dream of being a skater. As his passion for skating grew, J.J. getting hit by a car while skating likely pushed him back to golf. Thankfully, J.J. was not hurt, but his father was not a fan of the short skating stint. J.J. Spaun tees off during the second round of the 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pa. on June 13, Maxson / For The Beaver County Times / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images 'Luckily, none of the wheels went over him, but he had this streak of oil all the way down his body,' John told NBC Golf's Brentley Romine back in March. As for J.J.'s mom, Dollie was an avid golfer and helped in her son's development in the sport. Dollie even played golf while pregnant with J.J., and it appears to have helped. J.J.'s mom's family has both Filipino and Mexican roots. "So my grandfather on my mom's side, he's from -- he's not from the Philippines, but his parents were," Spaun remarked at the Valero Texas Open during an April 3, 2022, interview. "But they moved to California and he was born there, but he spoke Ilocano, which is like a dialect of Tagalog. Advertisement "It's from a very small island; I wish I remember what it was. My whole mom's side, they're all half Filipino and half Mexican, so that's what makes up my heritage. Sadly, he passed a few years ago, but he was -- he was kind of the main Filipino person in our family." Related: J.J. J.J. Spaun's Wife Melody Spaun and Kids Fuel His US Open Run

J.J. Spaun's Wife Melody Spaun and Kids Fuel His US Open Run originally appeared on Athlon Sports. J.J. Spaun's wife Melody Spaun along with the couple's two kids, Emerson Lili and Violet Windsor, are a major reason why the golfer can thrive during crazy days like the final round of the U.S. Open. Weather delays have nothing on the challenges of being a parent. Advertisement Less than 24 hours before the final round, J.J. was already planning some quality time with his wife. The couple's first child was born in 2020 as J.J. has learned how to be a PGA Tour golfer as a parent. Sometimes the easiest solution involves ordering delivery. J.J. admitted on Saturday that it was a room service night for Melody and the family at Oakmont. "Yeah, I'm going to get some dinner, probably have my wife order some room service for me," J.J. told reporters on Saturday. "She's back at the hotel with our two girls. They're probably going to bed any minute now. J.J. Spaun holds his daughter Emerson with his wife Melody Spaun just behind the duo at the conclusion of the Par 3 Contest at The Masters golf tournament at Augusta National Golf Schumacher-Imagn Images "So, yeah, I'm going to take a little cold plunge and kind of cool off and head back home and get some good food, and I'll probably be tired. Or I'll probably go to bed because I'm pretty exhausted." J.J. frequently takes to social media to express his admiration for Melody as both a mother and wife. On Father's Day, J.J. has an opportunity to win the U.S. Open in front of his biggest fans. "Happy Mother's Day to the best mom in the world!" J.J. said in a May 9, 2021, Instagram message. "Thank you for all you do for our little family. Miss you tons." Related: J.J.
