Death-threat Love Island star condemns 'viral hate' and abuse after N-word clip gets her booted from show
An axed Love Island USA contested has condemned as 'viral hate' the 'abuse' she has received for using a racial slur in a podcast four years ago.
Yulissa Escobar said she has been getting death threats after clips of her dropping the N-word in 2021 resurfaced last week.
She apologized for the comments in a lengthy essay on June 5, and again on Friday, but has been getting chilling messages 'saying I should kill myself.'
The Miami-based real estate professional - who has been booted from the villa - also posted a message, stating: 'Accountable, not Erased.'
'People swear cancel culture is about accountability… But now it's just viral hate,' she wrote.
'That video doesn't define me,' she asserted adding: 'This isn't ' woke.' It's abuse.'
'My name is Yulissa Escobar. And this is NOT where my story ends,' she wrote.
'One mistake does not define a human. And that moment? Was four years ago. I've clearly grown and I'm just getting started.'
She then invited fans to contact her in her DMs: 'If you're hurting… if you're scared… if you feel like no one gets it come talk to me.'
Some fans showed her support after the post.
'I felt every word of this. I can definitely relate! The way online hate can consume and distort reality is terrifying. Thank you for speaking out with so much honesty and courage,' wrote one follower.
'Love you yuli ❤️,' wrote another, adding: 'No one deserves this kind of hate, those who know you love you PERIOD.'
Others weren't buying what she was selling.
'But why were you saying the n-word in 2021,' asked one commenter, adding: 'You're grown enough.'
'Ah the playbook move to become the victim after owning it people truly cannot resist this move hilarious and so predicable,' said a detractor.
In a separate post on Friday, Escobar shared a series of unapologetically sexy snaps of her wearing a tiny blue bikini at a car wash.
'And in case you forgot the name...it's written on the suitcase. I still had a timeee!' she wrote using the hashtags #loveislandusa and #shecamebackbetter.

Dakota Johnson says she's 'psyched up for sex' after Chris Martin split
Dakota Johnson said she's 'psyched up for sex' just shortly after her split from Chris Martin. The 35-year-old actress made the confession on the heels of ending her engagement to her longtime on-off boyfriend-turned-fiancé and now-ex while chatting about her upcoming movie Materialists. The Fifty Shades of Grey star and the Coldplay singer, 48, had been together for eight years before their 'devastating' split — with an insider recently revealing exclusively to that 'their relationship has been over for a long time.' 'I don't have to psych myself up for sex scenes,' she confessed to Amy Poehler on Tuesday's episode of the comedian's podcast Good Hang. 'I'm always psyched up for sex.' The nepo baby also admitted she would have sex talks with her movie star mom Melanie Griffith. She also recalled how the Working Girl star would teach her about how 'precious and important' sex is. 'My mom raised me to be really, really proud of my body and love my body,' the daughter of Griffith and Miami Vice star Don Johnson said. 'So I've always felt so grateful for that, especially in my work because I can use it and it feels real,' she continued. She also added that her mom has 'great t*ts' while explaining that she learned from watching how her mother's self-love and how she embraced her own body. 'She's a generous person. She's extremely generous,' Johnson said about her mother. 'If you said to her, "I love your shirt," she'd take it off. 'Mostly because she loves to be naked and has great t*ts,' she added. Earlier this month, just a little over a week ago, it was revealed that Johnson and her fiancé had called off their engagement and broke up. Just days later, Martin sparked speculation with a cryptic shout-out to Dakota at Coldplay's Las Vegas show on Friday. 'Thank you so much everybody,' the Paradise singer said to the sold-out crowd at Allegiant Stadium, before unexpectedly referencing Johnson's latest film. 'Be kind to yourself, be kind to each other,' he admonished before adding, 'Don't forget to see Materialists! We love you!' in video shared by DeuxMoi. His shoutout brought on mixed reactions as some fans insisted that his support was evidence that they were still together. Others claimed that he seemed like he would still be supportive of his ex despite their separation. This week, the reason for their split was also allegedly revealed. An insider told that Johnson was ready to walk down the aisle but Martin wasn't, and it cost them their relationship. The source also claimed: 'Their relationship has been over for a long time. They just haven't been able to figure out how to make it official.' She said: 'My mom raised me to be really, really proud of my body and love my body.' The daughter of Melanie Griffith and Miami Vice star Don Johnson added: 'So I've always felt so grateful for that, especially in my work because I can use it and it feels real'; pictured May in New York City As fans spiraled over the A-list breakup, a source dished on the split on Tuesday. 'She was sick of him dragging his feet on setting a date for the wedding,' a source claimed to Page Six. Last week, source said the actress 'held a flame for them to be together because she loved him so much and loved his kids so much.' The insider continued: 'Dakota is devastated that she isn't going to be around his kids as much anymore, but wants them to know that she is always there for them.' They added that there is a chance the pair may reconcile but 'right now, being separated will do wonders if they were to have any type of future together.'

Mia Fevola confirms she is single after two-year romance with boyfriend Bass Miller
Mia Fevola is back on the market after officially confirming she is single. The social media star, who is the daughter of AFL great Brendan Fevola and beauty mogul Alex Fevola, is about to debut on hit reality series Dancing With The Stars Australia on Sunday. Speaking to this week's Stellar about her stint on the show which has already wrapped production, she revealed that she'd hoped to keep dancing after filming, but hadn't found an opportunity - or partner - to practise her new moves with. 'I'm single at the moment, and I'd like to keep it that way for now,' the 25-year-old told the publication. The Aussie influencer went on to detail her busy schedule in the wake of the show and her lack of time for a relationship. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I've got a lot to focus on. And I've gone back to uni – I've finished my business degree and I'm now doing psychology. 'So, while I'm open to [a new relationship], I'm really not looking for anything at the moment,' she confessed. Mia was previously linked to Bass Miller, whom she started dating in July 2023. Last year, the couple made headlines when Bass called the model his 'New Mrs' on Instagram, prompting speculation he had proposed. However, Mia told Daily Mail Australia at Flemington Racecourse that she is not engaged and the post was referring to the new hair-do she received at the time. 'I don't know where that came from. It was directed at my hair because I was blonde and then I dyed it dark,' Mia said of Bass' post. She explained her beau was only referring to her 'new look' and not accidentally revealing they were engaged as previous reports suggested. 'He was like, 'New Mrs,' saying that I dyed my hair. New look. I was shocked to see [the reports],' she added. The social media star, who is the daughter of AFL great Brendan Fevola and beauty mogul Alex Fevola, is set to debut on hit reality series Dancing With The Stars Australia on Sunday When pressed about whether she and Bass had any engagement plans for the future after almost two years together, Mia said she was uncertain. 'Who knows. We're just enjoying our time at the moment,' she explained. 'Everyone keeps saying 'new romance' but we've been together for nearly two years now. It's gone so quick.' Mia will appear in the 22nd season of Dancing With The Stars Australia, following in the footsteps of her famous parents Alex and Brendan, who featured on the show in 2010 and 2012 respectively.

Clinton aide Huma Abedin weds billionaire Soros heir in lavish Hamptons ceremony as Mother Nature weighs in on nuptials
Former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin was all smiles despite the rainy weather as she wed the heir of billionaire philanthropist George Soros today at a lavish Hamptons celebration attended by at least one ex president and other Democrat A-listers. The bride, 49, looked radiant in an elegant off-the-shoulder, floor-length cream gown with buttons in the back as she wed financier scion Alex Soros, 39, exclusive pictures show. The custom dress by Givenchy featured a delicate belt and olive branch embroidery with the bride and groom's initials sweetly woven into the design, according to Vogue magazine, which had a deal to cover the nuptials. The gown made by Sarah Burton was one of two dresses Abedin wore for her nuptials, with the other designed by Erdem Moralıoğlu. Our exclusive photos show Democrat insider Abedin looking relaxed and happy as she greeted famous guests – which included Vogue editor Anna Wintour - at the Soros' sprawling 12-bedroom Hamptons estate in Water Mill. Abedin was closely accompanied by her son, whom she shares with disgraced politician, Anthony Weiner, 60, who she divorced after he was jailed for sexting a minor. Weiner, who is attempting a NYC political comeback with a city council run, is not thought to have attended the wedding. The Soros' 12-bedroom, 10-bathroom Georgian mega mansion was surrounded by tight security, including sniffer dogs and Secret Service agents guarding Abedin's former boss Hillary and ex-president Bill who were driven down the long driveway in a motorcade of blacked out SUVs. Former president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle were also on the guest-list, according to Page Six. George and Amal Clooney, and the fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and her husband, the media mogul Barry Diller, were also thought to have been among the high-profile attendees. Scores of blacked out chauffeur driven minivans and luxury cars queued to ferry the couple's well-heeled guests through the estate's main gate. Huge white tents were erected on the property, giving guests shelter from the almost constant rain and cold that threatened to overshadow the couple's special day. But not everyone was in a celebratory mood for the nuptials. Locals claimed residents were not told in advance about the large-scale event, which saw police drafted in to manage the backlogs of traffic that built up along the road. One woman, who did not want to be named, criticized the family as 'the worst kind' of 'limousine liberals', and accused them of being hypocritical in funding apparently anti-police initiatives while local cops handled their wedding traffic outside. In a bizarre moment, a group of college students in fancy dress arrived close to the front gate of the property and took a selfie. On Friday, the happy couple hosted a rehearsal dinner for dozens of family members and friends at the waterfront estate of Soros' mother, Susan Weber, on Shelter Island, in the exclusive enclave of Dering Harbor. The Mail's exclusive pictures showed Abedin dazzling in a mid-length champagne-colored dress with flutter sleeves and matching heeled sandals as she mingled with guests. The groom-to-be complimented his bride in a light brown suit with matching shoes. Soros boasts an impressive portfolio of at least 11 homes, including two in the Hamptons, and another in Katonah, an exclusive area in Westchester, New York. The famously private philanthropist, reportedly worth $25billion, has transferred a raft of properties to the names of his closest advisers over the years. It is understood many guests are being ferried to the wedding from upmarket hotels in nearby Bridgehampton in a fleet of chauffeur blacked-out minivans. Guests were said to be in good spirits and some even joked whether any Republicans would be invited to the Dem society wedding. Soros and his father are among the most prolific fundraisers in the Democratic Party. Soros has been named heir to his father's $25billion empire. Abedin was one of Clinton's top aides in her tenure as Secretary of State during President Obama's first term. She hit the headlines when it was revealed her husband, then a Democratic US Congressman from New York had texted nude pictures to young women. Weiner resigned his post but ran again in 2013 when again he was found to have sexted pictures. Abedin divorced him and he was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison and he had to register as a sex offender. Abedin and Soros met in the fall of 2023 at Nicky Hilton's birthday party, and they were engaged in New York City in May 2024.
