Ozzy Osbourne car collection: From crashing a Ferrari after getting license at 60 to owning Volvo Wagons and an Audi R8
The 76-year-old artist left behind a $220 million (Rs 1800 crore) fortune for his six children and ten grandchildren. If we look back into the early life of Osbourne, he grew up amidst the industrial operation of working-class Manchester; hence, it is no surprise that he was made the frontman for metal legends Black Sabbath.
For car enthusiasts, jamming to Ozzy Osbourne's music while driving was a way to know him better. Whether it was No More Tears, Mr. Crowley, Crazy Train, or Children of the Grave, his powerful vocals always seemed to sync perfectly with the rhythm of the road and the soul of some of his famous music. Well, among many other things, Ozzy was a bit of a gearhead.
Ozzy Osbourne behind the wheel: A heavy metal legend's unexpected gearhead journey
For the unversed, Osbourne faced enormous difficulty in passing his driving test. The rock metal star earned his first driving license in his 60s, and this is when he proudly joined the gearhead community, according to Driving.
As per the report, it reportedly took him about 19 tries to succeed in a driving test that was too long after he had moved to Los Angeles. Although he lacked a formal license in his younger years, that didn't stop the rock icon from indulging his passion for cars, which is something his long-standing reputation as a car enthusiast makes clear.
To honour Ozzy's love for automotive, let's revisit some of his most fascinating rides that have found a home in the garages of his many estates over the years.
From Ferrari 458 Italia to Audi R8: A look at Ozzy Osbourne's most iconic car collection
Volvo 240 Wagon (First car): Ozzy rolled in the Volvo 240 Wagon back in his early days. Ozzy was first captured with a Volvo 240 wagon; it may not be the most powerful or as lavish as other cars, but it was the most reliable one.
Ferrari 458 Italia: The Ferrari 458 Italia holds legendary status for many, but for Ozzy Osbourne, it's quite memorable, as it was the car that he famously crashed right after getting his driver's license. The price of a Ferrari 458 Italia in 2025 varies depending on factors like condition, mileage, and other options. Roughly, it may cost around $170,000 to $300,000+.
Rolls-Royce Phantom: This is the vehicle that one most likely imagined Ozzy driving. The Rolls-Royce Phantom fits in perfectly with his "Prince of Darkness" character. Any undertaker would blush from its opulent, elegant appearance to its massive, imposing V12 engine. We're also rather excited about it.
Aston Martin Vantage: Ozzy had a taste of the finer things, despite his reputation for being raw and gruff and his outrageous exploits on stage and in real life. Indeed, it is said that he was the owner of the same vehicle that Bond would have driven.
Audi R8: The Audi R8 may not be the first car you would think Ozzy would be driving, but he did. In the last years of his life, he possessed one of them and a few other exotics. Without a doubt, Audi's exterior design is exceptional, regardless of your preferred car type. An even stronger case may be made for a mid-mount V10 option.
Ozzy Osbourne's real estate properties, houses, and more
Over the years, the rock icon and his second wife, Sharon Osbourne, purchased some notable real estate deals in California. In 2011, the couple listed their Hidden Hills property for close to $13 million and eventually sold it in 2013 for $11.5 million.
Later, the couple sold their beachfront home in Malibu for less than $8 million at that time. Later, in 2014, they purchased a condo in the posh Sierra Towers in Los Angeles, and in 2021, they increased their space by acquiring their neighbouring unit, spending roughly $6.3 million in total.

It feels like the internet has already made peace with the truth. Streets are saying Ozzy went ahead with his euthanasia plan and the Farewell show was his own funeral. It doesn't get any more metal than that While another user on X said, 'This was 100% medical aid in dying. He was rich and had the means to do it quietly and with his family. Sharon discussed it openly in an interview with the Mirror in 2023.' 'He was too sick, nothing else could kill him. That concert was the most metal goodbye ever.' Another tweet read, 'Absolutely mad news to hear, heard he had himself euthanized in Switzerland because absolutely nothing else could kill that absolute legend'. Could Ozzy Osbourne have been euthanised? Both he and wife Sharon have been documented talking about said: 'We believe 100% in euthanasia so have drawn up plans to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains. Ozzy had Parkinson's, constant pain, and multiple cancelled shows and looked physically worn in his last appearances. Ozzy Osbourne's wife Sharon had once said they would consider euthanasia in Switzerland This theory has weight because of what Ozzy and Sharon have said in the past. Back in 2020, Sharon told The Sun, 'If I can't take care of myself and have no quality of life, I don't want to be here.' She had also said to The Mirror that 'We believe 100% in euthanasia so have drawn up plans to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains. If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer's, that's it—we'd be off.' This was 100% medical aid in dying. He was rich and had the means to do it quietly and with his family. Sharon discussed it openly in a interview with the Mirror on She even confirmed they would consider assisted dying in Switzerland if it came to that. Ozzy, too, had said he never wanted to live 'like a vegetable.' These weren't random thoughts. They were plans. And now, fans think those plans may have just been carried out, quietly and with dignity.

‘Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda would never be ‘nakchade' stars,' says their ‘Saiyaara' co-star Rajesh Kumar known for playing Rosesh from ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai': ‘He would apologise…'
Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have turned into stars overnight as their film 'Saiyaara' hit the screens on Friday, July 18. In just five days, Mohit Suri 's directorial has pulled in over ₹132 crore at the Indian box office, with a staggering ₹24 crore and ₹25 crore collected on its first Monday and Tuesday respectively. The film is expected to cross Rs 150 crore on day 6 which is Wednesday. Not only are the newcomers holding their own, but they're also shaking up the box office performance of films headlined by veterans like Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan. What's equally surprising is the largely positive reception they've received—rare for star kids in the current social media climate, with very minimal trolling or criticism. Actor Rajesh Kumar , who plays Aneet's father in Saiyaara, recently opened up about his experience working with the two fresh faces. Speaking to Galatta, he revealed,'I told both Aneet and Ahaan that make me meet your parents. I just went and thanked them for bringing them up so well and that is what is reflecting on screen. They are not corrupted. Having said that, there is a long way for them to go.' For those not in the know, Rajesh is known for playing the iconic character of Rosesh from 'Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai'. Recalling the first day on set, Rajesh shared a touching memory about Ahaan's debut shot. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Compare Spreads: Bitcoin vs Ethereum CFDs IC Markets Learn More Undo He said, 'Ahaan was so nervous before his first shot. We shot that together. The ones who have watched the film will remember the scene where he quietly hands me a bag. That was his first shot for the film. But, he did it so well in just the third take. After the shot ended, people clapped for him and then he felt relaxed.' Talking about Aneet, Rajesh recounted how her roots helped him with his role He said, 'When I was first introduced to Aneet, Mohit told me she will solve my Punjabi problem in case I want to stick to that language for that movie as we are Batras in it. And then till the time we were shooting together, she would speak to me in hardcore Punjabi. She asked me to call her 'puttu' in place of beta in the movie.' Rajesh also praised the new generation of actors for their level of preparation and professionalism. 'The new generation of actors are extremely groomed. They are pake hue, manjhe hue kalakaar. Barring a few, who might have not prepared as much. But the number of newcomers I have worked with are ready for the market, and Bollywood. I can tell you that these are the faces who are going to be relevant for the coming 25-30 years. Their ability to adapt things is exceptional. And these are the actors who have worked hard for success,' he said. He added that despite the massive success of Saiyaara, both Ahaan and Aneet will remain grounded. He said, 'If you look into Aneet's interviews, you will see that she is yet to believe that her film is working wonders. When people realise things late, success doesn't take over them. These people are so grounded that I don't think Aneet or Ahaan will ever be a 'nakchade' (snooty) stars. They will be sought after actors.' Opening up on the film's success, Rajesh credited the trust and dedication behind the scenes. He said, 'Mohit would wait until he got the shot he had visualised. Every time we took a shot for over four times, Ahaan would walk forward and apologise. He didn't have a 'give up' attitude. This film was all about trust. This film was all about YRF believing in Mohit Suri. And Mohit Suri believing in this new couple and the supporting cast. We never thought it would be a blockbuster.'

NHIDCL replaces Aizawl director amidst crisis over Mizorams key highway
Last Updated: Aizawl, Jul 23 (PTI) Amidst escalating public anger over the crumbling condition of NH-6/306, Mizoram's main lifeline, the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) has replaced its executive director (Projects) in Aizawl, officials said on Wednesday. In an order on July 22, NHIDCL appointed Adelbert Susngi as the new executive director at the Aizawl regional office, replacing Virendra Kumar Jakhar, who is currently on leave till August 6. The national highway is under NHIDCL. Jakhar has been asked to report to the NHIDCL head office in Delhi after his leave. The decision comes amidst a severe supply crisis triggered by the dilapidated condition of the Sairang-Kawnpui sector of the highway, which connects Mizoram with Silchar in Assam. NH-306 (also known as NH-6 in parts) is the primary lifeline of Mizoram, linking the state with Assam's Silchar town. Due to the dangerous road condition, oil tanker operators have halted operations since July 19, further deepening the fuel crisis. Earlier this month, local truckers briefly repaired the sector themselves, halting traffic for six days and worsening shortages. Mizoram's lone Lok Sabha MP Richard Vanlalhmangaiha on Tuesday called on NHIDCL managing director Krishan Kumar in Delhi and briefed him about the deplorable state of the national highway, an official statement said on Wednesday. Kumar told the MP that the leadership change followed a request from Chief Minister Lalduhoma. He also told Richard that Rs 50 crore has been sanctioned to repair NH-6/306, and they were planning to complete the entire repairing on the Sairang-Kawnpui stretch within a month.
