Fans flocked to the comments, with one writing: 'Why don't they do these in the mint flavour.'
Another said: 'Running to Sainsburys now.'
A third added: 'Only £2 yes' – while others were busy tagging friends to alert them to the find.
The new Aero treat appears to be exclusive to Sainsbury's for now, with stock already flying off shelves in branches across England and beyond.
The bubbly chocolate melts are infused with a rich double chocolate brownie flavour – perfect for fans of gooey, indulgent treats.
Sainsbury's shoppers are no strangers to limited-edition sweet finds, and with the Aero Melts available at a budget-friendly price, it's no surprise they're disappearing fast.
Nestlé's Aero range has grown steadily in recent years, with the brand launching fun and surprising twists on the classic bubbly chocolate bar.
The popularity of their mint and caramel versions paved the way for experimental launches like this brownie-inspired version.
The frenzy at Sainsbury's comes hot on the heels of similar excitement at Asda, where shoppers recently raced to snap up a rare Aero Choco Hazelnut dessert likened to Nutella.
We've outdone ourselves with this one' say Cadbury Ireland as they reveal new limited edition bar 'coming soon
The Facebook post had shoppers tagging friends and planning supermarket trips.
One fan said: 'This chocolate bar is amazing!! Tastes like Nutella,' while another added: 'I need to try these.'
The mousse-like dessert pots come in at just 88 calories each – offering a lighter way to indulge. But, like many of Nestlé's speciality items, it could be a limited-time treat.
Meanwhile, Premier convenience stores have been drawing in chocoholics with another exclusive – the Aero Coconut bar, spotted in Birkenhead. Selling at £1.50, the tropical twist features eight coconut-filled pieces and has been hailed as a must-try.
Social media users wasted no time reacting.
One wrote: 'Omg I need this,' while another urged a friend: 'Go find it xx.'
To top it all off, Nestlé has launched three new KitKat bars too – including Chunky Funky, Chunky Salted Caramel, and Blue Riband Vanilla. The latter offers a slightly lighter option with just 83 calories per bar.
How to save money on chocolate
We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs...
Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars.
Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.

Hamilton law firm praised at parliament for volunteering efforts
Staff from Scullion Law transformed the garden of their charity partners Home-Start Staff at a Hamilton law firm have been congratulated at the Scottish Parliament for their long-standing volunteer partnership with a community organisation. Family law team members Judith Higson, Nicola Buchanan, Claire Thomas, Laura Cousins, Liz Semple and Carly Russell spent a day supporting Home Start Glasgow North and North Lanarkshire by clearing, weeding and painting the outdoor garden at their Maryhill base. It was the latest part of the legal firm's four-year partnership with the charity, which saw Scullion being named as corporate supporter of the year at the Home-Start UK Awards in March – and has now been recognised with an official motion at Holyrood. Annie Wells, the Glasgow MSP, sponsored a motion at the parliament praising Scullion's 'outstanding support' of the charity following the garden transformation to benefit its early-years youngsters during the summer; and noted that their ongoing link 'demonstrates a deep commitment to supporting families in need'. She also praised their fundraising donations of £1 from every invoice and participation in events including the Kiltwalk, saying they have 'raised significant funds for Home-Start since 2021' and commended Scullion's 'lasting impact in enabling Home-Start to expand services, train more volunteers and build resilient, thriving communities'. It has so far been supported by 23 MSPs, including Lanarkshire colleagues Meghan Gallacher and Fulton MacGregor. Head of family law Judith Higson said: 'It was fantastic to spend the day together as a team, supporting the brilliant work Home‑Start does for families. Getting stuck in with the gardening and painting allowed us to contribute in a hands-on, meaningful way, and we hope the families enjoy the space.' Home‑Start fundraising and partnerships officer Rachel Muir said the team's 'kindness and hard work have made a wonderful difference in creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for the families and children we support', adding: 'We deeply appreciate their time, energy, and generosity.' * Don't miss the latest headlines from around Lanarkshire. WhatsApp takes down 6.8 million accounts linked to criminal scam centers, Meta says
WhatsApp has taken down 6.8 million accounts that were 'linked to criminal scam centers' targeting people online around that world, its parent company Meta said this week. The account deletions, which Meta said took place over the first six months of the year, arrive as part of wider company efforts to crack down on scams. In a Tuesday announcement, Meta said it was also rolling new tools on WhatsApp to help people spot scams — including a new safety overview that the platform will show when someone who is not in a user's contacts adds them to a group, as well as ongoing test alerts to pause before responding. Scams are becoming all too common and increasingly sophisticated in today's digital world — with too-good-to-be-true offers and unsolicited messages attempting to steal consumers' information or money filling our phones, social media and other corners of the internet each day. Meta noted that 'some of the most prolific' sources of scams are criminal scam centers, which often span from forced labor operated by organized crime — and warned that such efforts often target people on many platforms at once, in attempts to evade detection. That means that a scam campaign may start with messages over text or a dating app, for example, and then move to social media and payment platforms, the California-based company said. Meta, which also owns Facebook and Instagram, pointed to recent scam efforts that it said attempted to use its own apps — as well as TikTok, Telegram and AI-generated messages made using ChatGPT — to offer payments for fake likes, enlist people into a pyramid scheme and/or lure others into cryptocurrency investments. Meta linked these scams to a criminal scam center in Cambodia — and said it disrupted the campaign in partnership with ChatGPT maker OpenAI.
