Suspect makes Nazi salute before ripping down Pride flag in High River
It happened around 11 p.m. Monday in the town of High River, south of Calgary, and was captured on the homeowner's security camera video.
RCMP said a man wearing a light-coloured hoodie and dark pants approached a home in southeast High River.

While walking up the sidewalk to the residence, he appeared to make two a 'Sieg Heil' gestures, also known as the Nazi salute, before ripping the displayed Pride flag from the front porch railing.
As the suspect then turned and walked away, he made a 'rude gesture,' appearing to raise his middle finger towards the home.
The suspect appears to be a man with a slender build.

The RCMP is encouraging any members of the public who have information on the identity of the suspect, or have any information regarding this crime, to contact the High River detachment at 403-652-2357.

2 dead, 1 in critical condition after vehicle hits pedestrians on Siksika Nation: RCMP
RCMP in southern Alberta said two people are dead and a third is in critical condition after a vehicle hit a group of pedestrians and then left the scene. Mounties said five people were walking on the Siksika Nation on Saturday night when they were struck. Two men, aged 27 and 45, who are both residents of the Siksika Nation, died. The injured woman is 45 and also a resident of Siksika, while police said the two remaining people weren't hurt. RCMP said their Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation. Police said they're looking for anyone who may have video of the 54 Map 3 Subdivision area from between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday.

Searchers find body of sole occupant of abandoned boat on Lake Winnipeg

RCMP say they were contacted Sunday morning that an abandoned boat was found in open water near Willow Island, south of Gimli. Upon arrival, local Coast Guard authorities told officers that a wallet and cellphone were located on the boat, but there were no occupants. RCMP say they deployed their Marine Unit and Underwater Recovery Unit, and a few hours later searchers located a 62-year-old man in the water dead. Police say he was the sole occupant of the boat.
