FRANKFURT (dpa)German customs authorities have seized about 160 kilograms of crystal meth at Frankfurt airport, describing it as probably the largest single haul of the drug ever to reach Germany by air.If the drugs - which were hidden inside construction machinery - had been sold by dealers, their worth would have been around 10 million euros ($11.8 miliion), a spokeswoman for customs investigators said on Wednesday.Customs officers at the airport discovered a metal box containing the crystal meth on June 19, inside a construction machine used to make paving stones. They removed and seized the drugs "one shovelful at a time," the spokeswoman said.
The Dutch police arrested four suspects there last Thursday, as part of an operation coordinated with the German and Belgian authorities.
