According to the Palestinian Safa News Agency, residents of the occupied interior stressed that renovating Al-Aqsa Mosque and defending it is an Islamic and national duty to confront the plans of the enemy and its settlers. In defiance of the enemy, its settlers, and their plans, the Palestinians of 1948 continue to send convoys of worshippers, despite the enemy's military reinforcements in the city of Quds and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Hamas: Israeli Army's Plan to Occupy Gaza Signals a New Wave of Genocide
Doha – Saba: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) warned that the Israeli army chief of staff's reported approval on Sunday of plans to occupy Gaza City and accelerate military operations there amounts to a declaration of a new wave of genocide and forced displacement against hundreds of thousands of residents and displaced persons in the city. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Hamas said: 'This criminal declaration to commit a major war crime in Gaza City epitomizes Zionist arrogance, contempt for international law, and determination to press ahead with ongoing genocide that has lasted for more than 22 months, under U.S. complicity and amid shameful global silence and inaction.' The movement stressed that so-called 'humanitarian arrangements,' including the talk of bringing tents into southern Gaza, are a blatant attempt to cover up Israel's preparations for a massacre. Hamas pointed out that the United Nations has already rejected such measures as failing to meet even the minimum humanitarian standards, describing them as the weaponization of human suffering for political and military purposes. The statement added that the situation in Gaza is part of a broader picture that includes daily raids, armed settler assaults, and property burnings in the West Bank—evidence of a unified Zionist project aimed at expelling Palestinians, seizing their rights, and advancing the Judaization of Islamic and Christian holy sites. Hamas further asserted that Prime Minister Netanyahu's government's efforts to uproot Palestinians are tied to its broader goal of establishing a so-called 'Greater Israel' at the expense of Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and beyond. The movement underscored that this 'dangerous scheme' requires immediate and steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their resistance, which it described as the 'first line of defense' for Arab and Muslim nations against Zionist ambitions. Hamas concluded by calling this a critical moment that demands a unified national strategy of comprehensive resistance, while urging Arab and Muslim countries to take clear steps to confront Israel's expansionist agenda that threatens the peoples and states of the entire region.
