Author Douglas Murray slams online entertainer Nicolas De Balinthazy 'Sneako' for supporting NYC Democrat mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani just because 'he's the only non-Zionist candidate'.
Sneako posted a video to social media showcasing his support for Mr Mamdani, stating the people of New York are 'tired of the Zionism'.
'Isn't it extraordinary he's running to be mayor of New York and the thing he's really best known for is his anti-Israel activism,' Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
'Of course, that attracts a certain type of person.
'Isn't it revealing when people like that guy there, Sneako, that he says, 'I like him because he's not a Zionist', well that just means that he gets the support of people who think 'great, this guy doesn't like Jews, I don't like Jews, lets vote for him'.
'What's not being a Zionist got to do with being mayor of New York?'

Albanese government under ‘huge pressure' to review defence spending

Sky News host Steve Price claims the Albanese government is under 'huge pressure' to review Australia's defence spending. 'The Albanese Government is under huge pressure now to review not just the total spend, as it should do, but what we are actually spending the money on,' Mr Price said. 'You have to ask how that looks today after all the NATO countries, bar Spain agreed to Donald Trump in one form or another to boost the GDP measure, spending against defence, by putting it up to 5 per cent. 'Australia needs a strong alliance with the world's most powerful military, whether the left and the Greens and Paul Keating like it or not.'

‘Once credible, now politicised': CNN's reliability called into question

Hudson Institute Senior Fellow John Lee comments on the current state of US media, asserting that many outlets have become increasingly 'politicised'. 'Unfortunately in the American media environment now, you have to look at the media outlet to make a judgment about how reliable or what the motivation might be,' Mr Lee told Sky News host Sharri Markson. 'Outlets like CNN, New York Times, perhaps even Washington Post, once very credible august outlets, are now very politicised.'

Taiwan ‘at risk' of Chinese invasion by 2027

Former Army director general Retired Brigadier Ian Langford discusses the potential risk of China invading Taiwan by 2027. 'The Chinese political rhetoric is clear … President Xi has said as much in all of his proclamations and party congress announcements,' Mr Langford told Sky News host Peta Credlin. 'I think you'd have to come to a judgment that the security situation is at risk and therefore, Australia needs to plan accordingly.
