When Bobby Deol's wife Tanya opened up on sharing household chores with Sunny Deol's wife Pooja, revealed mother-in-law Prakash Kaur ‘travels a lot': ‘You are cooking for 50 people'
Bobby Deol's wife Tanya Deol is the daughter of millionaire banker, late Devendra Ahuja. However, despite belonging to a nuclear business family, she got married into the Deol family, a rooted joint family. In a throwback interview with designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, she had opened up about her relationship with parents-in-law Dharmendra and first wife Parkash Kaur. Tanya also revealed that she shares household chores with her sister-in-law, Sunny Deol's wife Pooja Deol, which can often translate into cooking a meal for 50 people daily.
During the candid conversation, she reflected on their relationship and mentioned that Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur treat her like their own daughter. She said, 'I have been married for a long time now. They treat me more like a daughter and it's great. They are amazing people individually, each one of them. We have a fabulous relationship.'
When asked about what role she plays in the house, Tanya shared how household work keeps her busy throughout the day. 'My mother-in-law travels a lot. I take a lot of interest in the running of the household. Sometimes I think that it's like running a business by itself because my home business is more hectic than my work business. You are cooking a meal for 50 people.'

She further added that everything is divided between her and Pooja on a monthly basis. 'We do share responsibilities. We take it one month at a time, it's just easier that way. One month you do it, one month you relax,' she said.
Bobby Deol and Pooja Deol got married on May 30, 1996, in a grand traditional wedding ceremony. They are blessed with two sons – Aryaman Deol and Dharam Deol. At the third edition of SCREEN LIVE recently, Bobby recalled chasing his wife Tanya, who wasn't interested in him initially. He said, 'She's my woman, my life, everything. She is the best thing that could have happened to me. I met her, I chased her… she was from South Bombay, she didn't give me any attention, but I still chased her. Somewhere I knew, she will fall in love with me. And then she did. We met, and in two months, we decided to get married. By this time, my parents were just dying for me to get married.'

Dharmendra was the first choice of Amitabh Bachchan's blockbuster film, was the most expensive film of 1980s, film is.., its lead actress was... In the unpredictable world of showbiz, how a film turns out at the box office nobody can ever predict. From the storyline, direction, to production, many paramount factors can contribute to making or breaking a film at the box office. But besides all the factors, the most important element of a film is its cast. A single casting can change the entire trajectory of a film. One such story is of an iconic film that came out in 1980, but it not only captivated the audience with its strong storyline, but also the cast shuffle that changed its fate. Originally, the director of the film selected someone else for the lead role; however, in a turn of events, the film eventually went to someone whose fate was destined for it. The film we are talking about is none other than the superhit film Shaan. Released in 1980, this Ramesh Sippy film was considered one of the most expensive films of that era with its multi-starrer cast. The film captivated the hearts of millions with its strong storyline and grand production. It featured top names of Bollywood like Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Sunil Dutt, Ravi Babi and Bindiya Goswami. However, what many don't know is that Amitabh Bachchan and Bindiya Goswani were not the first choice of filmmakers. In fact, Dharmendra was chosen for the role of Vijay and Hema Malini was chosen for the role of Renu. Being the top stars of that era, Dharmendra and Hema both had a massive fan following at that time. However, it was reported that due to some differences with Ramesh Sippy, Dharmendra and Hema Malini rejected the offer. Eventually the film went to the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, making it a career-defining moment for him, he was first supposed to play the role of Ravi but after Dharmendra's exit, it was Vijay's role that went to him and later Shashi Kapoor played Ravi's role and Binditya Goswani replaced Hema Malini for the role of Bindu Even today, the film continues to resonate with the audience. From its blockbuster song 'Pyaar Karne Wale' to its action-packed plot, the film is still hailed by the Indian audience. Made on the whopping budget of Rs. 4,35 crores, it collected almost times its budget, Rs 12.5 crores. This story also shows how one star's rejection becomes a career-defining moment for the other star.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu USA Premiere Advance Booking Update: Pawan Kalyan starrer crosses USD 150k in pre-sales; Strong trailer required for bigger gains
Pawan Kalyan's much-awaited period action drama, Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs. Spirit, is gearing up for its grand theatrical release on June 12, 2025. The film is set in the 17th-century Mughal era and Pawan Kalyan learned sword-fighting to prepare for his role. At the time of this article, based on the data shared by USA box office tracker 'Venky Box Office', HHVM has crossed USD 150,000 in advance sales for its USA premieres, with close to 6,000 tickets sold across various locations. While these numbers are decent, they fall short of the electrifying momentum typically associated with a Pawan Kalyan starrer. The advance bookings, which have been open for a while, are moving at a slower pace than anticipated. With only nine days left until the premieres, the film is yet to unlock its full potential at the box office. Notably, bookings in Canada have not yet started, which is surprising for a film of this scale, as major releases usually have advance sales open across key markets by this time. For a star like Pawan Kalyan, whose films like Gabbar Singh and Bheemla Nayak have set benchmarks with explosive openings, the current trend feels underwhelming. The film is aiming to hit the ambitious USD 1 million mark for its USA premieres, but it will need a significant push to get there. The slow traction in advance bookings could be attributed to the film's turbulent journey. Hari Hara Veera Mallu has faced multiple postponements since its announcement in 2020, with delays caused by the pandemic, production challenges, and Pawan Kalyan's busy schedule. These hiccups may have tempered the excitement for some fans. Also Pawan Kalyan's recent foray into politics as Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister has kept him in the spotlight, but it's possible that his divided focus has left some audiences uncertain about the film's momentum. Still, the Power Star's loyal fanbase remains a force to reckon with, and their enthusiasm could turn things around. What the film needs now is a banger trailer that reignites the hype and pulls in crowds. The makers have released four singles but the songs haven't created the viral buzz expected from an M.M. Keeravani soundtrack. A high-octane trailer showcasing Pawan Kalyan's larger-than-life presence, combined with the film's stellar cast of Bobby Deol, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, and Nidhhi Agerwal could be the spark to drive ticket sales. With full-fledged bookings set to open soon, including major chains like Regal and AMC, there's still time for Hari Hara Veera Mallu to pick up steam. Fans are eagerly waiting for the trailer to drop, which could be the key to unlocking a box-office storm. Will Hari Hara Veera Mallu live up to its promise and hit the USD 1 million mark in USA premieres? Only time will tell. You can stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates on the Pawan Kalyan starrer.

Hema Malini was set to marry this man secretly despite being in a relationship with Dharmendra, wedding was stopped at last minute after Sholay actor…
Dharmendra and Hema Malini's relationship always captured the public glare. The two had a controversial affair which made headlines. Dharmendra tied the knot when the actor was already married and had two kids. However, do you know that Dharmendra and Hema Malini's love story was not just theirs? It was a love triangle. Yes, the story behind the love triangle is that since Dharmendra was already a married man, Hema's parents were never in favour of their relationship. They tried every possible attempt to get Hema away from Dharmendra. In the same scenario, Hema Malini's wedding was fixed with a Bollywood superstar of that time. Hema's parents wanted her to marry Jeetendra. During this time, Jeetendra was already dating his childhood friend and cabin crew Shobha Sippy, and he knew that Hema had affection for Dharmendra. Despite knowing all this, Jeetendra said yes to the proposal. According to a report in Indian Express, a close friend of Jeetendra has mentioned this incident in Ram Kamal Mukherjee's book Beyond the Dream Girl. As per the book, Jeetendra never wanted to marry Hema, but it was because of his family that he said yes. The families fixed Hema and Jeetendra's wedding in a temple in Chennai. However, things went haywire when Dharmendra got to know about the secret wedding. Without any delay, he reached Chennai and hindered the wedding. Drunk, Dharmendra created a huge ruckus, and Hema's father lost his cool. He told the actor, 'You are married, get out of my daughter's life.' However, Dharmendra flatly refused to go; rather, he asked for permission to talk to Hema Malini alone. Hema's father allowed her to talk to Dharmendra alone for some time. After this, when Hema came back after talking to Dharmendra, she asked her father for some time to get married. This made Jeetendra's family extremely angry. Out of rage, the Farz actor's parents asked Hema to answer a yes or no about the wedding. Under pressure, Hema flatly refused. Upon hearing this, Jeetu's family left in anger. After this entire controversy, Dharmendra did not marry Hema on the same day, but they got married in 1980. After marriage, Hema gave birth to two lovely daughters – Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
