Dovbyk wanted by Leeds United and West Ham, as Roma look to Krstovic
Dovbyk was a big investment from FC Girona last summer for €38.5m, but has struggled to replicate his form in LaLiga to Serie A football.
The situation seems to have gone from bad to worse under new coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who has very different requirements for his centre-forward.

If he is sold, then the Giallorossi already have his replacement in mind, as Lecce star Krstovic is eager to make the move to the Stadio Olimpico.
Curiously, Leeds United had approached Krstovic first, but he wants to remain in Serie A and turned them down.

Fabrizio Romano confirms Liverpool working on mega double transfer
Richard Hughes is working on a double transfer for Liverpool according to Fabrizio Romano. The Reds' sporting director is not resting on his laurels. As well as trying to get a deal over the line for Alexander Isak, Hughes is also trying to bring in two more recruits at least. 🚨2025/26 LFC x adidas range🚨 LFC x adidas Shop the away range TODAY LFC x adidas Shop the home range today! LFC x adidas Shop the goalkeeper range today LFC x adidas Shop the new adidas range today! This is after a summer of unprecedented change and spending. Liverpool have broken their club record to sign Florian Wirtz, and paid hefty sums to bring in Hugo Ekitike and Milos Kerkez. But that investment is not enough in order to replace some of the club's departed stars. Liverpool need to provide depth in the attacking and defensive areas. Particularly at centre-back, where currently Arne Slot has just three senior options to choose from, one of them is injured in Joe Gomez. Hughes still has just less than three weeks to get deals over the line and according to Romano he's currently working on a double transfer that could be mega business from him yet again. 🔴 Shop the LFC 2025/26 adidas away range Given Liverpool's depth in the centre-back department, they probably need not just one but two new arrivals this summer. They were already a man short last season, and that's before Jarell Quansah departed for pastures new. So there is a need here to improve that department and Hughes is working on what could be a mega double deal according to Fabrizio Romano. Posting on his X account, Romano confirmed that Liverpool are working on a deal to sign both Marc Guehi and Giovanni Leoni. While previously others have suggested it's one or the other, Romano here has clarified that Liverpool want to sign both, which means there is the potential for an incredible double deal.

Barcelona summer signing reflects on his adaptation and changes he has experienced – ‘It is very intense'
Marcus Rashford has spoken about his first impressions as a Barcelona player, giving fans an insight into how he is adapting to life at his new club. In an interview with the programme The Rest Is Football, hosted by Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer, and Micah Richards, the summer signing expressed his excitement at joining a young, hungry team eager for success. Rashford revealed that the atmosphere within the squad has been a key highlight, praising the energy and style of play that defines the club. One name, in particular, stood out to him from the very beginning. 'Honestly, it is very refreshing to be able to play with these players and play football at their own tempo [rhythm] like Pedri, who I think is only 22 or 23 years old.' When asked about his objectives for the season, Rashford made it clear that team achievements take priority over personal milestones. 'I hope to have a good individual season, but if I have to choose between that and winning titles, choose to win titles.' Adapting to Barça's intensity While Rashford has settled in well, he also admitted that the intensity of Barcelona's training sessions has been a challenge. The pace and demands of the pre-season were further complicated by the weather conditions during the club's Asian tour. 'Here, it is very intense. It is difficult to explain, but the pre-season has been difficult; I was tired after every workout, and the weather also played a role. 'Running is not difficult; it is more about practising with the ball and maintaining a consistent level. In this sense, the intensity is more complex,' he noted. For Rashford, the first few weeks have been both exciting and demanding. As he adjusts to Hansi Flick's methods and forms connections with his new teammates, the forward will be eager to make his mark when the competitive season begins.
