Dmitri Payet insists relationship with former mistress was 'consensual' in new testimony after ex-girlfriend accused ex-West Ham star of 'forcing her to film bizarre sex acts' and 'drink her own urine'
Dimitri Payet denied 'physical and psychological violence' towards his 'mistress' in a statement to Brazilian police, a report has claimed.
The Frenchman, currently playing for Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro, was reportedly heard at the Women's Assistance Police Station where he admitted to having a relationship with lawyer Larissa Natalya Ferrari but and insisted every act during their union was consensual.
It comes after the former West Ham star was accused of forcing Ferrari, 28 - whom he began a seven-month affair with after 'becoming lonely' in Brazil - to drink her own urine and lick the floor, as well as pushing and stepping on her.
The Frenchman, who left his wife of almost 20 years Ludivine and their four children back in his homeland, is yet to comment on the allegations publicly but Brazilian outlet G1, claim to have obtained a document with further details of the case.
The outlet report that the lawyer claims to suffer from Borderline personality disorder and believes the 38-year-old Payet took advantage of her condition.
'Dimitri knew about my passion and psychological problems, using this against me,' she is reported to have said by G1. 'Dimitri convinced me to put my head in the trash, in the toilet, made me drink my own urine and other sexual bizarre acts.
Furthermore, it is alleged that Payet admitted to the acts but maintained that they were consensual and proposed by Ferrari. It mentions an encounter when Ferrari 'requested slaps during sexual intercourse' and as a result, developed marks on her body.
The French international also reportedly claimed that the two used wooden chairs during sexual intercourse, and that, due to Ferrari's light skin, any pressure would lead to marks.
Earlier this month, Ferrari told AFP: 'I want justice because he abused my psychological vulnerability to gain sexual advantage. He demanded proof of love from me, which consisted of humiliation.
'I recorded videos in which I drank my urine, drank water from the toilet bowl, and licked the floor. I'm a lawyer, I would never have made such serious complaints lightly.'
The recent report out of Brazil alleges that Payet refused Ferrari's desire to continue this relationship in France, on the condition he pay her expenses, as his time in the country approached its end.
According to the player, the lawyer's behaviour changed from then on, leading to her threatening to 'expose his secrets' if he did not respond within four hours of her birthday message.
Payet's lawyer Sheila Lustoza told G1: 'It is regrettable that confidential records were leaked, but the case reveals with evidence something that is very clear: a woman exercising her freedom and will, as it should be, contrary to what has been publicly narrated up until now. The defense is confident that the truth that is proven by documents will demonstrate these facts.'
Payet is widely regarded as one of West Ham's most talented players this century but left under a cloud to re-join Marseille after just 18 months in 2017. He stays at the Stade Velodrome for six-and-a-half years before moving to Brazil in 2023.
In March, Larissa revealed that they had had a seven-month affair.
She wrote in a lengthy statement: 'One thing I want to make clear is that it was never about money. There was no need for it.
'There's not much I can say because there's no explanation or anything to justify it.
'But one thing I want to make extremely clear is that it was never for money, not before, not now. In fact, the last time I went to Rio, I went by bus.'
Larissa, who is a mother of two, also claimed that she only got physically involved with the midfielder following her divorce from her ex-husband.

Michail Antonio set for return amid West Ham contract standoff
Michail Antonio hopes to return to action in the next few weeks, six months after the West Ham United forward broke his leg in a car crash. The 35-year-old has earmarked playing for Jamaica in the Concacaf Gold Cup, which takes place from June 14 to July 6 in Canada and the United States. Jamaica will play Guatemala a week on Tuesday followed by Guadeloupe and Panama in Group C. Antonio is keen to play in the tournament to prove that he has returned to fitness and earn a new contract at West Ham. His deal, worth more than £90,000 a week, expires this month and he has rejected the club's offer of a short-term contract, which included a modest basic wage and further money on appearances. He wants more guaranteed money in a longer-term deal. The impasse over the contract might be one reason Antonio took to social media on Sunday to hint he could be leaving. He posted a picture of him clutching the Conference League trophy, won by the club in 2023, and a video charting his recovery from the car crash. His £260,000 grey Ferrari went off the road and hit a tree during Storm Darragh in Epping Forest, Essex, on December 7 after West Ham training. He broke his femur bone in four places and after surgery was discharged from hospital on New Year's Eve. The posted footage begins showing the wreckage of his Ferrari, with a voice asking how he escaped. It then shows him initially shuffling, then walking, using crutches through to the later stages of his rehabilitation, including working with the ball at the club's training ground in Essex. The video is set to inspirational comments from motivational speaker Inky Johnson. 'Faith will overcome all challenges,' Antonio writes in the caption of the video. Antonio said he was '100 per cent sure' he would play again despite the severity of his injury. In May he told L'Equipe: 'The question is whether the club wants to extend my contract. That's my priority, but I'm waiting. Until then, all I can do is focus on my recovery so that, wherever I am next year, I can deliver.'

PSG star 'tempted' by Man Utd transfer as Ruben Amorim considers major change
Manchester United no longer has the pull it once had but a PSG star is nonetheless willing to leave the Champions League winners to join the Premier League strugglers. United endured a miserable 2025-26 campaign under Erik ten Hag and his successor Ruben Amorim, finishing just 15th in the Premier League table, some 24 points outside the Champions League places. The Red Devils fared better in Europe but losing to Tottenham in the Europa League final means Manchester United will not be involved in any European competition next season. Paris Saint-Germain, in contrast, enjoyed a stunning 12 months, winning their first ever Champions League trophy and a domestic double under Luis Enrique. One of the key members of Enrique's squad, despite the abundance of attacking talent in Paris, was Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. Wake up to find news on your club in your inbox every morning with Metro's Football Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your team in the link so we can send you football news tailored to you. The 26-year-old European Championship winner produced a string of superb saves in PSG's Champions League knockout wins over Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal. Given Donnarumma's influence in the French capital, it is a surprise that he has entered the final 12 months of his contract with PSG and yet to put pen to paper on a new deal. L'Equipe say contract talks began 'several months ago' but a positive outcome is still yet to be reached, with Donnarumma's camp said to be disappointed by the terms offered in earlier offers. The French outlet say a number of clubs are monitoring Donnarumma's situation, with Manchester United and Manchester City showing interest in bringing the shot-stopper to the Premier League. It is claimed Donnarumma is 'tempted' by switches to both clubs and has even discussed a move to the Premier League with some of his international teammates. United's interest in Donnarumma suggests Amorim is considering replacing current Old Trafford No. 1 Andre Onana, who endured an inconsistent season in Manchester. Onana featured in a Champions League final shortly before his £47m move from Inter Milan but has largely struggled at Manchester United. Man City, meanwhile, are looking for a long-term replacement for Ederson, who has spent almost a decade at the Etihad Stadium, lifting six league title. The 31-year-old Brazilian has been one of the best goalkeepers in the worldsince joining Manchester City but appears to be on the decline approaching his 32nd birthday. Asked about his future at PSG after lifting the Champions League trophy, Donnarumma said: 'I don't know yet what's going to happen. 'I haven't decided anything. For the moment, I want to focus on the matches with the national team, and nothing else. 'I will discuss the situation at the club in the coming days with the management and my staff. For now, it's still too early.' More Trending Donnarumma is not the only PSG player being linked with Manchester United. His teammate Goncalo Ramos has reportedly been offered to Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Amorim is desperate to sign a new striker this summer and Portugal international Ramos would be a cheaper alternative to Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko. Ramos, 23, scored 18 goals for PSG last season and has nine goals in 15 games for Portugal. Manchester United considered a move for Ramos before his move to PSG in 2023 and Bruno Fernandes was at the time full of praise for his compatriot. For more stories like this, check our sport page. Michail Antonio shares footage as he learns to walk again after horrific crash
West Ham star Michail Antonio was involved in a horror car crash in December last year and has given a behind-the-scenes look at his gruelling recovery which involved learning how to walk again Michail Antonio has shared a video of his recovery from his horror car crash after vowing to return to football. The West Ham star was involved in an awful collision in December last year in Essex. His Ferrari was at the heart of a single-vehicle collision, leaving him with a broken leg. Antonio immediately underwent surgery for his shocking injury but was discharged from hospital three weeks later. Antonio, 35, has now taken to Instagram to give supporters a look at his gruelling recovery, alongside the caption: "Faith will overcome all challenges". The video which appeared on his official social media began with the wreckage of Antonio's car, while it also showed him in hospital immediately after the incident. Antonio then shared videos of him walking with a frame alongside doctors, as well as a clip of West Ham teammates visiting him in hospital. Other videos then show him at the Hammers' training ground on crutches, with the striker eventually gaining strength to walk unaided. The veteran is then pictured hard at work in West Ham's gym. The Jamaican international's emotional return to the London Stadium is also documented. The video then ends with Antonio training with a ball, as well as him being given a round of applause by his West Ham team-mates upon his return to team sessions. A number of his colleagues have replied to the update. Tomas Soucek replied with three heart emojis, while Vladimir Coufal wrote: "Respect brother". Ex-West Ham captain and current Arsenal star Declan Rice also replied as he wrote: "Monster." Antonio's latest update comes after he admitted he was close to being killed in the smash. "The most difficult part is that I almost wasn't there for my children," Antonio told the BBC's Morning Live. "It's just made me happy, positive about life, because I've got another chance at life. "During this, we kept it away from the kids. My eldest saw it, and he struggled with it. He's 13, and obviously people were showing photos of the car. So he came down and saw me in the hospital. But the younger ones, they never really knew how bad the situation was. We kind of avoided letting them get on the internet." He added: "It gave me a weird feeling in my stomach. It just made me realise how close I was to dying. I had seen the pictures but it was 10 times worse in person. The car was an absolute mess. It was difficult for me." Despite that, Antonio vowed to be back on the pitch. His West Ham contract comes to an end this summer. "Yes, 100 per cent. I will play again," he said. "It's the biggest injury I've ever had in my career. But the fact that I'm already two to three months ahead of where I should be, I know that I'll play again, and I know that once I'm playing the game I'll get the sharpness back. "People have always doubted me. My mental strength is something that I've always believed in and this is just another setback, and it is not going to stop me."
