South Florida in for a hot and humid week, with "feels like" temps in the upper 90s
South Florida is in for another hot and humid week with a low chance of rain.
Monday got off to a warm and muggy start with temperatures in the low to mid 80s. A few stray showers moved across the area.
The chance of rain is low for the day, only about 10%, and any showers that develop will likely occur in the morning along the coast and then push inland and to the west by the afternoon.
Highs will soar to around 90 degrees in the afternoon under mostly sunny skies and it will feel like the mid to upper 90s when you factor in the humidity.
There is a moderate risk of rip currents along the Atlantic beaches and the UV index is extreme. There are no alerts or advisories for boaters along the Atlantic or Florida Keys waters.

High pressure remains in control and the chance of rain stays low at only 10% for Tuesday. Isolated showers will be possible in the morning and then the wet weather will be steered to our west with the onshore breeze. Highs will stay seasonably hot, around 90 degrees, in the afternoon.
Mid to late week the chance of rain rises only slightly with the potential for spotty showers. Highs will climb to 90 degrees. Some Saharan dust may return to South Florida later in the week.
The tropics remain quiet for now and tropical systems are not expected over the next 7 days.

Severe storms possible in Southeast Michigan Wednesday. Here's what to expect.
A new area of low pressure and a front will move into Southeast Michigan on Wednesday. Storms are likely to be strong to severe along and ahead of the front. The CBS Detroit NEXT Weather Team has declared Wednesday a NEXT Weather Alert Day. Most of Southeast Michigan is rated 2 out of 5 on the severe risk scale by the Storm Prediction Center. NEXT Weather/CBS Detroit Storms will move in by 3 p.m. on Wednesday and will stick around into the night. NEXT Weather/CBS Detroit Most of the stronger storms will move in late afternoon Wednesday and into the evening. NEXT Weather/CBS Detroit Some lingering rain will be around on Thursday for Juneteenth. The main threats will be strong, damaging winds at 60 miles per hour or higher, as well as one-inch hail. We can't rule out the chance for a couple of storms to rotate. This could lead to a tornado or two through the evening hours on Wednesday. There will be lots of warm, humid air ahead of the system. Hot, humid week ahead for North Texans
A hot and sunny week is ahead in North Texas with a chance of rainfall along a weak front by Wednesday night. Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-90s and winds from the southwest around 5 to 10 mph. The moisture content around North Texas is high, which is impacting the "feels-like" temperatures, or heat index value – though today's high is 94 degrees, the heat index is in the triple digits. CBS News Texas A few isolated showers and storms will be possible across East Texas Monday, but for the majority of the region, conditions will stay dry. Dry weather will stay in the forecast throughout next week. However, late Wednesday night, there is a risk of storms with a few reaching and surpassing severe limits. The primary risk is for damaging winds 60 mph or stronger. CBS News Texas A weak cold front will move through Wednesday night and stall Thursday to the south of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
