Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns occupation forces storming eight mosques in Nablus
Ramallah - Saba:
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed that the occupation authorities have no authority or right to restrict citizens' entry to pray in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under any pretext or justification.
The Foreign Ministry considered in a statement issued today, Friday, that determining the age of worshipers is a blatant violation of the obligations of the occupying power, and a violation of international law and the principle of the right to freedom of movement and access to places of worship.
The ministry considered that the restrictions accompanying determining the age of men and women add further restrictions on the number of worshipers on Fridays, and invalidate the occupation's arguments and justifications for determining the age, in addition to the fact that Quds is an occupied Palestinian land according to international legitimacy resolutions and is not subject to the Zionist enemy.
