Beloved reality TV couple shock fans with divorce announcement... and make bombshell confession
Love Is Blind season three couple Matt Bolton and Colleen Reed have called time on their marriage.
The news came on Friday as the two — who fell in love on the popular Netflix series — announced their split in a joint Instagram post.
'We wanted to share something personal, and this is not easy to do, but after nearly four years together, we've decided to end our marriage and move forward on our own paths,' the message began.
Set in white font against a black backdrop, it continued, 'We've been separated for some time now and have being our best to work through everything privately and with care.'
It was added, 'This was an incredibly difficult decision, not one we made lightly. It came with a lot of thought and it's been an emotional process for both of us.'
Their breakup post went on to say, 'We met in the most unique and unexpected way, and we'll always be grateful for the love and memories we've shared. There's not one thing we would change and we continue to have deep respect and care for one another.'

Speaking to the fans, they wrote, 'Thank you to everyone who has supported us. We kindly ask for compassion as we navigate this transition.'
Matt, 31, and Colleen, 29, were one of just two couples to reach the stage of marriage in season three, which hit the streamer in October 2022.
The nation watched as they navigated ups and downs, most notably when Colleen admitted to telling fellow contestant Cole Barnett she would be attracted to him 'in the real world,' outside the confines of the show.
Despite eventually solidifying their relationship with a wedding, they lived separately for two years afterward.
In May 2023 Reed revealed plans to finally move in with her husband.
While appearing on Deepti Vempati and Natalie Lee's podcast, Out of the Pods, she confirmed they were ready to take the big step.
She said: 'Me and Matt are going to move in together in the next two weeks. We don't have the finances to buy, by any means, but we're going to rent in Dallas and then that gives us time to really find the perfect home for what works for us.'
Defending their decision to wait, she added: 'We practically live together already. He basically stays at my place because it's closer to work.
Colleen's last Instagram photo with Matt was shared in September 2024
'I don't think he's gone to his place once in the past month. So I'm excited to live with him outside of a studio.'
She joked at the time, 'I mean, if I can live with this man in a studio, then I can live with him wherever because I can't get away from him in these four walls.'
Giving more context for the unusual living arrangement, Colleen said, 'To kind of adapt to now living with someone, it takes a while.
'It takes a second, and both of us didn't want to rush changing that — all of the sudden expediting that for other people.'

While she also paid tribute to the crew of the musical, thanking composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and gushing: 'It has been such an honor to be able to create with you the past 15 years.' And voicing her gratitude and appreciation for producer Jamie Lloyd, she added: 'Jamie, you saw in me what no one else did. You have given us all new ways to dream and you have changed my life forever.' Nicole wrapped up her emotional speech with an inspiring message, saying: 'If there's anyone out there who feels like they don't belong, or your time hasn't come, don't give up. 'Just keep on giving and giving, because the world needs your love and your light now more than ever. This is a testament that love always wins. Thank you so much. God Bess you.' The ex-Glasgow Warriors rugby league player popped the question while on holiday in Portugal back in July 2023 In 2021, Thom opened up on his relationship with Nicole, telling how he was 'massively punching above my weight!' and exclaimed: 'I've hit the jackpot'. Speaking to The Sun, he made it very clear that he feels lucky to be with Nicole as he explained: 'Nobody is asking Nicole how she got with me because I'm massively punching (above my weight). She's so easy and fun to be around. I've hit the jackpot.' He explained: 'It wasn't even in my thought process to try it on with Nicole because it would have been unprofessional and she's so lovely and stunning in every possible way. I was just like, "She's out of my league". The former Scottish international rugby union player went on to say that it was his grandmother who inspired him to 'pluck up the courage' and talk to Nicole as he recalled her motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get'. Thom reflected that he rejected the idea of sliding into the pop star's DMs as he didn't think it was the 'done thing' and would be 'awkward', but instead felt it was right to have an old fashioned face-to-face conversation. He added that he's 'really grateful' that their relationship began 'naturally' during their 'intimate first meeting', with the hunk insisting he's 'never looked back'.
