Upcoming ROG Xbox Ally Handheld Could Have Reported US Prices
Microsoft Confirms October 16th Release Date for ROG Xbox Ally
Official pricing and pre-order information has still not been announced. Microsoft told IGN in an interview yesterday that we will be hearing 'in a few weeks' due to the 'macro-economic climate.'
On the plus side, official pricing has already leaked. Trusted leaker billbil-kun has now published the list ROG Xbox Ally price in advance of today's official reveal. The ROG Xbox Ally will retail for $549.99 USD, while the Xbox Ally final prices $899.99 USD.
Needless to say, these are two very different Xbox handhelds. The lower-tier ROG Xbox Ally is intended to run games at 720p with lower graphical settings, while the ROG Xbox Ally X is intended to target 1080p resolutions. Pre-orders are expected to open later today, with the official release date confirmed as October 16th.
Features and Specs
Microsoft officially unveiled two ROG handheld console US options at its Xbox Games Showcase 2025 event. These featured a Windows-based Xbox experience that we can play around with inside handheld PCs with a dedicated Xbox button. At the time, the company only shared a 'Holiday 2025' release window, and did not mention pricing. There are also reports that Microsoft is cancelling an in-house Xbox handheld to go with an 'Xbox on Windows' approach to port the Xbox experience to third-party portable gaming PCs like Asus' ROG Xbox Ally series.
We know from the June showcase that the ROG gaming handheld includes an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip, 24GB LPDDR5X‑8000 RAM, 1TB storage, a 7-inch 1080p/120Hz 500‑nit OLED display, dual USB‑C (USB4 + USB 3.2), and 80Wh battery. The cheaper ROG Xbox Ally includes a Ryzen Z2A, 16GB LPDDR5X‑6400 RAM, 512GB storage, the same display, dual USB 3.2 Type‑C, and 60Wh battery.
Until Microsoft or Asus make an official confirmation, take all these prices with a grain of salt as leak-only.

Leaders are scaling operations with AI emerging as a true thought partner, fuelling creativity, fast-tracking decisions, and redefining collaboration," he said. This shift is turning AI's promise into proof and profitability-powered by productivity, innovation, and a fundamentally new way of working, he pointed out. The sample size of the survey was 31000 participants across 31 countries. The findings were part of the global WTI survey.

Asus Flow Z13 Review: Stylish, Portable and Powerful
I'll start off with a confession — I am a big fan of the tablet form factor and have a lot of time for any device that promises to deliver laptop-grade performance in a smaller size. This is where the new Asus ROG Flow Z13 comes in. This 13-inch device from the Taiwanese tech giant not only comes in a tablet form factor with Windows 11 built in but also promises to run hardcore games onboard. I have been testing the device for about a month and here's my two bits on how it performed in the real world. Opening the box of the ROG Flow Z13, you are greeted with the device itself in a flashy yet classic ROG style, with a diagonal line and transparent strip showing off some of the internals. The exterior comes in a matte black finish with a textured surface that, while carrying the ROG gaming vibe, also makes sure the device can be carried in a professional setting. Apart from that, you get a 65W Asus charger with a USB-C interface and an Asus stylus bundled inside the box. With a weight of around 1.2kg (keyboard excluded), the Flow Z13 is definitely heavier than most tablets out there but much lighter compared to gaming laptops from Asus and other OEMs. Flow Z13 Design Flow Z13 Design The ROG Flow Z13 comes with a 13.4-inch WQXGA IPS display with a 180Hz dynamic refresh rate. This is a very good-quality display for a gaming device. It makes for a vibrant and rich viewing experience, and the 500 nits of peak brightness are enough for most indoor tasks, though it may feel slightly lacking in places with a lot of natural light. The built-in speakers come with Dolby Atmos branding and provide detailed, crisp sound. However, loudness isn't the best on this device, and for gaming sessions, one might still need to opt for dedicated headphones. Flow Z13 Display The Flow Z13 is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max 390 processor and AMD Radeon 8050s integrated GPU. It comes with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. As for ports, the Flow Z13 includes 2 USB-C ports, 1 USB-A port, a headphone jack, an HDMI port, and an XG Mobile port. Sadly, there is no Thunderbolt port, which could be a major miss for content creators. Now, I am no gamer so I couldn't test the laptop's gaming performance to the fullest. I did try a couple of popular titles and, for what it's worth, the Flow Z13 managed to handle them easily. Since the fans are placed on the back of the device, you don't get a burning sensation even if you play games on your lap. The 56Wh battery on the Flow Z13 is good enough to last a full working day in my experience, typically giving around 7–8 hours of backup. That drops drastically to about 2 hours when gaming. Battery life is decent for normal usage but nowhere close to the carefree experience you get with the new ARM-based Snapdragon X series processors. Honestly speaking, I've been using the OnePlus Pad 3 as my primary work device for about 3 months, and battery life was one of the areas that bugged me when switching to the Flow Z13. The chiclet-style keyboard on the Flow Z13 comes with well-spaced keys and decent key travel, but it feels significantly cheaper compared to keyboards on other Asus devices. It does have multi-coloured RGB lighting, which is a decent addition considering this is a detachable keyboard, though the lighting intensity could have been better. Given the current trend of elongated trackpads on most modern laptops, the one on the Flow Z13 feels a little outdated. Personally, I prefer to use a mouse with my laptop, and while the trackpad is smooth and responsive, it didn't convince me to move away from my mouse. Flow Z13 keyboard Flow Z13 keyboard Another problem is stability — if you're travelling or don't have a flat surface to type on, it becomes very hard to keep the keyboard in place. This is the trade-off you make for portability with this device. The front camera on the Flow Z13 is a 5MP 1440p shooter that makes for a decent video calling experience, though details could have been better. The 13MP shooter on the back is of much higher quality and can easily be used for quick photos in case of an emergency. At a price of ₹ 1,99,999, the Asus Flow Z13 is not meant for everyone. It is specifically aimed at gamers who want a 2-in-1 form factor with portability as their top priority. The Flow Z13 makes for a compelling option in its price range with a gaming-focused design, a powerful AMD processor and GPU, good battery life, and a solid display.

Microsoft is rolling out a new update in the Copilot app on Windows. This upgrade brings an improvement that makes finding your files easier, also to access recent apps and documents quickly. These features are only available to the Windows Insider users for now. Smarter file search and a new Copilot home for easier access on Windows.(Microsoft) The biggest new feature is the semantic file search which will be available on Copilot PCs. Unlike regular search, this feature lets you search for the files using a natural language. You can now type commands like 'find images of my pet on my PC' or 'find my CV' to locate the relevant files without needing to remember the exact name of the file or the location. The search understands the file content and descriptions, making it convenient to find the documents or image files just by describing the content of them. Users can control what Copilot can see or cannot see on the PC from the permission settings. The update also brings a new Coliot home screen experience that displays your recent apps, files and conversation right there when you open the Copilot app. It is also easier to get help, clicking the recent app starters a guided Vision session and clicking the recent file uploads it to the Copilot automatically and it can quickly summarize or analyse the content for you. Copilot only shows files from your Windows 'Recent' folder, the files that you have recently accessed using apps like Word or Photos. It does not automatically scan your entire PC or upload any files automatically. Files will only appear on the home screen if they are compatible with the Copilot and recently used. You need to give permission if you want to share a file with Copilot for processing. Users can use vision to get live help based on what's on the screen currently. Files can be uploaded to the chat for quick summaries, insights or assistance. This makes Copilot a versatile assistant for planning and catching up on work.
