EXCLUSIVE Have Dan Ewing and Katrina Risteska split? Home and Away star stops posting about fiancée on social media before undergoing huge transformation after 'hitting absolute rock bottom' - as actress 'moves out of family home'

Daily Mail11 hours ago

Dan Ewing and fiancée Katrina Risteska have sparked rumours they may have split.
The couple, who share two-year-old daughter Nevaeh Catherine, seem to have gone silent on each other's social pages since last year.
A source has also revealed to Daily Mail Australia that Katrina, 34, may have moved out of the Brisbane family home the pair bought together at least two years ago.
According to an insider, Dan, 40, and Katrina owned a property in Lota, Queensland - a gated community in the outer eastern suburbs of Brisbane.
The home last sold for $580,000 in 2022, as shown on realestate.com.au, presumably to the couple.
From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop.
However, it seems Katrina may no longer be living at the family home, as she shared a sponsored video in April which showed her residing at another house.
The clip saw Katrina spruiking a pressure washer, which she used to clean the back patio of her current property.
However, there were notable differences between the Lota home and the building she was washing.
Her family home features an all-white façade and a concrete patio, while the house Katrina was cleaning in the video had a red-brick exterior and a wooden deck.
To add to the split rumours, Dan and Katrina no longer appear to post about one another on their socials, with the soap star also undergoing a dramatic physical transformation after 'hitting absolute rock bottom' near the end of 2024.
The former Home and Away actor last prominently included Katrina on his Instagram page on Mother's Day last year, writing a tribute to his partner alongside a sweet image.
The black and white photo showed Katrina blowing bubbles with their daughter Nevaeh as Dan penned some gushing words about the pair.
'Alright I'm not articulate enough to describe how I truly feel but here goes... The biggest compliment I could give to my salted caramel goddess is this,' he began.
'(Clears throat) You're a Fkn... MIL... Ok... no... FOCUS… (Clears throat again),' he continued.
'I couldn't be more grateful that our daughter is not only the spitting image of her beautiful mother but she also emulates her empathy, intelligence, kindness, SASS... all of the SASS... Did I mention SASS?'
'I was head over heels to have one of you. I thank God every day now that I have two. Happy Mothers Day.'
It was the last post which heavily featured Katrina.
A birthday video for Nevaeh in July and a sponsored video in December showed mere glimpses of Katrina, with Dan's page suddenly overtaken with fitness videos.
Dan, who also shares son Archie, 10, with his ex-wife Marni Little, does not appear to have posted about Katrina or Nevaeh at all this year.
Likewise, Katrina, who rarely posts at the best of times, has not shared anything featuring Dan since her 33rd birthday last January.
While the couple still follow each other on Instagram, they seem to have stopped liking and interacting with each other's posts.
However, it seems Katrina may no longer be living at the family home, as she shared a sponsored video in April which showed her residing at another house
Instead, some of their more recent uploads contain words of inspiration.
In January, Dan shared a message to his 'special friends', writing: 'You are so loved, I am so grateful for you!
'The love and support you've given me in 2024 means the world. You've changed my life forever. I am sober because of you.'
Dan revealed to his followers earlier this month that he became a 'depressed alcoholic' last year and has since given up alcohol.
'You are perfect in every way even if it takes people close to you way too long to figure out what a gift from heaven you are,' he continued.
'I wish you nothing but success at the level you dream of and I know will achieve.'
'I may not see you all face-to-face but I believe in you more than you believe in yourselves,' he finished.
Dan overlaid the post with an instrumental song by Parijat called Healing the Heart.
Meanwhile, Katrina appeared to celebrate her 34th birthday in January without Dan this year, and shared her own inspirational post just a few weeks earlier.
She shared a black and white video of herself and daughter Nevaeh playing on a beach during a sunny day.
She wrote: 'Before Nev was born I had a reading done and the lady said, "I see you on the beach with your daughter. She is your best friend and you're so happy and content."
'She had no idea that I was pregnant at the time or that it was a girl. But her words have played over and over in mind ever since.
'I had no idea what I would write in the caption as I create this reel only that the moment seemed so precious and my heart so full of gratitude… I see now this moment is exactly that.'
To add to the speculation, Dan has also undergone a dramatic weight loss journey and detailed his battle with alcohol consumption.
Dan stunned fans by sharing a shocking before-and-after post to mark his 40th birthday earlier this month.
He shared two shirtless bathroom selfies to social media to showcase his dramatic transformation over the past year.
In the before photo, Dan looked downbeat as he showcased his bloated stomach, while the second picture taken a year later showed him looking significantly more muscular and upbeat.
He captioned the gallery with some revealing words: 'This is 40. But more importantly, that second photo was 39.
'Exactly one year ago today. A depressed alcoholic. Crushed by internal trauma. Existing, not living. I'd love to say that on that day, I had the courage to change.'
Dan then opened up about how he turned his life around in the space of six months.
'It took hitting absolute rock bottom at the end of 2024. That's when the universe finally said "enough" and it took the wheel from me,' he wrote.
'From that rock-bottom came the decision to get sober - and that one choice changed everything.'
'It snowballed into a deeper love for myself, into true connection with the source - God, universe, whatever name you give this sacred, powerful energy we are all part of,' he continued.
He added his good fortune had significantly improved after he gave up alcohol.
'None of that would have happened without that hard first decision. That moment I asked for help,' he wrote.
'Sobriety didn't just transform my life. It allowed me to show up fully - for my family, friends and everyone I encounter. To serve in the way I was always meant to.'
Dan, who left Home and Away as a permanent cast member in 2014, has long been open with fans about his past struggles.
In 2021, he revealed he suffered from anxiety and would use alcohol to cope with his newfound fame after joining the popular soap in 2007 as Heath Braxton, a member of the River Boys surfing gang.
In an interview with the ImperfectlyPerfect Podcast, the actor admitted he found being thrown into the spotlight challenging.
'I really struggled. I was just some kid from the Northern Beaches, so then to shoot to fame on the biggest show in Australia in Home and Away... I wasn't ready,' he said.
'My partner at the time [Marni] wasn't ready, and I didn't know it at the time, but I was really suffering with anxiety,' he added.
Dan, who split from Marni at the end of 2015 after three years of marriage, said he turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism for what he was going through.
'I'd just sort of tip all this grog down my neck and get absolutely written off on the weekend,' he explained.
'You disguise it as, "Oh, it's blowing off steam. We all do it," and we all have done it.
'But for me, I just didn't understand that there was a better way, there was a better process.'
Dan admitted it was 'not conducive to a great relationship or a great marriage or a great lifestyle', even though he was still 'kicking goals work-wise'.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Dan and Katrina's representatives for comment.

Footy star James Tedesco and his pregnant wife step out with their adorable baby daughter as he leads his team's amazing turnaround

NRL star James Tedesco and his wife Maria were spotted enjoying a family day this week at Sydney's Taronga Zoo with their daughter Rosie - as they also prepare to bring a second child into the world. The outing comes as Tedesco, 32, has been in scintillating form for the Roosters as they continue to climb the ladder with finals looming. 'Teddy' has been so impressive that calls have increased for the fullback to return to the representative arena with NSW - but the man himself knows incumbent Dylan Edwards will be near impossible to dislodge. 'Last year was probably hard... it was a bit awkward for me to watch,' Tedesco said on Nine's Freddy and the Eighth podcast. 'I'd been there since 2016, not missed a game, so it was a bit weird for this year I felt really relaxed. I wasn't expecting to play Origin. 'I knew they'd go with Dyl (Edwards) who's playing some great footy.' As he approaches the twilight of his footy career - at least in the NRL - Tedesco is enjoying his life balance. 'I got married (in 2023) and had kids, and now my life revolves around my family,' he said. 'I can't wait to come home and see my little daughter. She runs up, gives me a hug and honestly it doesn't get much better than that. 'I can't wait to keep growing my family.' Tedesco won't have to wait long - his wife Maria is having another girl, due in August. After making his NRL debut with the Wests Tigers in 2012, Tedesco has won two premierships with the Roosters and established himself as one of the code's greatest ever fullbacks. And on Thursday night when in commentary for Triple M during the Panthers and Bulldogs clash at Commbank Stadium, Tedesco effectively predicted the future. 'The more and more this game goes on, Nathan Cleary's going to have a bigger impact, so we'll see what happens,' he told listeners. Seconds later Bulldogs five-eighth Matt Burton had a kick charged down by the Panthers playmaker, who regathered and scored. 'Oh here it is, Cleary,' he said as the moment unfolded.

Nick Kyrgios 'lands eye-catching new role at Wimbledon' weeks after being dropped by the BBC and hitting out at decision as 'very strange'

Nick Kyrgios has reportedly landed a new role at Wimbledon after being dropped from the BBC 's coverage and branding the decision 'very strange'. Kyrgios looked set to miss out on SW19 despite being part of the BBC's punditry team for last year's tournament, alongside Tim Henman and John McEnroe. The broadcaster's decision to include the Australian on the panel 12 months after he admitted to assaulting his former girlfriend Chiara Passari - and avoided a criminal conviction - was met with a fierce backlash from the public and MPs. Disrupted by knee and wrist injuries, the 30-year-old will not be involved as a player, making this the third consecutive year he has missed out. His last appearance on the court at Wimbledon came in 2022, when he lost the final to Novak Djokovic. Kyrgios was also overlooked by ESPN this year despite featuring on their panel at the Australian Open, and previously worked for the Tennis Channel and TNT Sports. However, he will now be at Wimbledon after all after landing an eye-catching new media role with talkSPORT, according to The Times. He is said to be joining the radio station to record a daily half-hour show alongside co-presenter Gordon Smart. Kyrgios will also make appearances alongside Jim White and Simon Jordan in the morning across the fortnight. Before his new job became public, Kyrgios had taken a thinly-veiled dig at his rumoured BBC replacement - only for him to shoot down the speculation. Kyrgios claimed that Christopher Eubanks, the world No 108, had been lined up and after beating each member of the 'Big Four' - Roger Feder, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray - he expressed his bemusement with the move. 'It's unfortunate but it's probably their loss more than mine,' he told The Guardian. 'I understand they've got Chris Eubanks, but he hasn't beaten the greatest of all time multiple times. When someone's beaten Federer, Nadal, Murray and Djokovic and has incredible insights, it's very strange you wouldn't want them adding knowledge.' Eubanks himself took to social media to insist he would not be working with the BBC. 'As far as I know, my team hasn't even spoken to anyone from [the] BBC so I'm not sure where that came from,' the 29-year-old said on X. Kyrgios made an appearance on talkSPORT on Thursday and shared his sympathy for Emma Raducanu, declaring his 'heart does go out to her'. 'I look at that run [at the US Open in 2021],' he said. 'She was smiling and enjoying her tennis so much and that whole two weeks for her was an incredible journey. 'But since then, I've seen her kind of enjoy her tennis, but I've never really seen her smile and really enjoy it as she did when she won the tournament. 'Whether or not that it's external pressure, I don't know what's going on, but at the end of the day, we play sport because we love it and we go out there because we want to compete and entertain people. 'I hope that she figures out what's wrong and what's going on there, I hope she finds the answers, but I completely understand.'

Boxing legend Jeff Fenech's daughter announces she's pregnant with footy star Bradman Best's baby

Jeff Fenech's daughter Kayla has revealed she and NRL star Bradman Best are due to have a baby in January next year, telling her social media followers, 'We can't wait.' The 29-year-old started dating the Newcastle Knights star early last year - initially angering her boxing legend dad - and the big news got a heartfelt reception from her family and NRL identities. 'Omg I'm so proud of you both, can't wait to meet my gorgeous little bubba,' Kayla's mother Suzee wrote. 'Super excited to be on this next chapter/journey with you both. Luv u both.' Best's Knights teammate James Schiller commented, 'Prodigy in the making! Congrats fam,' and the couple also got messages from former NRL stars Cooper and Jack Johns, as well as NRLW premiership winner Millie Boyle. Kayla - who was holding an ultrasound image of the baby and a tiny pair of Nike shoes in one of the photos in her post - previously revealed her dad's furious reaction when he first learned about her romance, saying he went 'apes**t'. However, the four-weight world champion soon changed his mind. 'I'd always warned my girls about going out with league players,' he said. 'I've been knocking around with footballers all my life. 'They're young and they love going out and having a good time. 'So when she rang and told me, I went off the deep end. I gave her a roasting. She kept trying to say, "Dad, he's a lovely guy". Kayla was telling me every day how nice he was. 'Bradman knew I was angry, but he told Kayla, "I'll prove your dad wrong" - and he has.' The country's greatest ever fighter and Best now get along well, with the pair even doing some boxing training together. 'Maybe he was trying to impress his future father-in-law,' Jeff said. 'He was very impressive when we trained. 'When we first met, you could tell he was a good young man. He's treating Kayla beautifully. Like a gentleman. They're very happy. And so is my wife Suzee and I. 'The only time I got dirty is when he scored two tries against my Parramatta side last weekend and beat us.' Kayla, who met Best through social media, moved to Newcastle to be with him. 'He's a good person, very down to earth, and treats me really well,' she said. 'Just an all-round good person with a big heart. 'He's actually perfect.' In February, Kayla revealed one of the secrets to making their relationship work: she won't let him do any work around the house. 'To be honest, Bradman always tries to help. I don't let him,' she said. 'I learnt from my mum [Jeff's wife Suzee] that it's kind of a woman's job to keep the house intact. 'But he always tries to help me do the dishes but I don't really let him lift a finger in the house because I don't feel like it's his job to do that. 'He is always so busy with footy and when he gets home, he is tired so I would never expect him to do anything.'
