Patel Retail IPO opens for subscription on tomorrow (Tuesday, August 19). Patel Retail was founded in 2008, opening its first store in Ambernath, Maharashtra. Since that time, the company has broadened its reach across the suburban areas of Thane and the Raigad district in Maharashtra.

Patel Retail IPO date: The issue opens for subscription on Tuesday, August 19, and closes on Thursday, August 21.

NEW DELHI: B.L. Kashyap and Sons has reported a decline of 46.39 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Its profit after tax stood at ₹10.85 crore in Q1 FY26 as against ₹20.24 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. The company's net consolidated total income stood at ₹339.13 crore in Q1 FY26, a dip of 3.85 per cent from ₹352.71 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year. Vineet Kashyap , managing director of the company said, "The sharp improvement in EBITDA quarter-on-quarter is a direct outcome of our strategic focus on high-margin projects, operational efficiencies, and technology adoption. With a robust order book, significant new wins, and a healthy project pipeline, we are confident of sustaining our growth trajectory and creating long-term value for our stakeholders." The order book stood at ₹3,215.54 crore as on June 30, 2025. It secured new orders worth ₹1,219 crore in July 2025.

Agency: New Delhi, Aug 18 (PTI) Supermarket chain Patel Retail Ltd on Monday collected over Rs 43 crore from anchor investors, ahead of its initial public offering (IPO) opening for subscription. The investors participated in the anchor round included Chanakya Opportunities Fund, BNP Paribas Financial Markets, Maybank Securities, Beacon Stone Capital, Saint Capital Fund and Pine Oak Global Fund, according to a circular uploaded on BSE's website. As per circular, the company allotted 17.04 lakh equity shares to investors at Rs 255 apiece, aggregating the fund raising to Rs 43.46 crore. The company's IPO — a mix of a fresh issue of 85.18 lakh shares and an offer for sale of 10.02 lakh shares of promoters — will open for public subscription on August 19 and conclude on August 21. At the upper end of the price band, the company's public issue is expected to fetch Rs 242.76 crore. The company's shares will be available for subscription in the price band of Rs 237 to Rs 255 apiece. Proceeds from the fresh issuance will be used for payment of debt, funding of working capital requirements of the company and for general corporate purposes. Patel Retail was established in 2008, launching its inaugural store in Ambernath, Maharashtra. Sebi issued a consultation paper on implementing new eligibility norms for derivatives on non-benchmark indices, proposing constituent limits and weight caps. Remove Ads Markets regulator Sebi on Monday issued a consultation paper on how to implement new eligibility norms for derivatives on non-benchmark indices . The paper follows a May 29 circular that mandated stricter prudential rules to ensure such indices remain broad-based and not overly per the circular, non-benchmark indices with derivatives must have at least 14 constituents, with the top constituent's weight capped at 20% and the combined weight of the top three limited to 45%. Weights must also follow a descending order across exchanges have been evaluating two options: Alternative A - Launch new indices that meet the criteria while continuing existing ones and Alternative B - Adjust the constituent structure and weights of existing which runs the Bankex index with 10 constituents and no ETF tracking, has preferred Alternative B, opting to adjust weights and constituents in one on the other hand, has two affected indices — Nifty Bank (12 constituents, Rs 34,251 crore AUM in ETFs) and Nifty Financial Services (20 constituents, Rs 511 crore AUM).After consulting with mutual funds and AMFI, NSE has also favored Alternative B, but recommended a phased glide-path approach to avoid disruptions, particularly given the large AUM in Nifty Bank the proposed glide path, adjustments in constituent weights would be carried out in up to four monthly tranches, ensuring a staggered and orderly has now invited comments from stakeholders on whether adjusting existing indices is the right approach and on the modalities of such weight adjustments. The deadline for submitting comments is September 8 via Sebi's online portal (link here) or through email.
