The pub's owner Rachel Miaoulis told the BBC several staff members and locals helped clear the debris overnight following Sunday's crash."I can't believe how people, when we needed them, actually put their full heart into it, helping us out so we could open," she said.
According to Ms Miaoulis, the damaged section of the premises has been isolated and boarded up since the crash."The damage that it caused is just crazy," she said. The venue "can't afford to close" in summer, she added, as it is the business's busiest time of year.
In 2021, a police van overturned after crashing into a telegraph pole and the pub's signpost.

Moment police collar drug mule using hidden cocaine compartment in his motorbike - after spotting tell-tale sign something was wrong

This is the moment police discovered a cocaine haul inside a hidden compartment in his motorbike - after spotting a tell-tale sign something was wrong. Victor Pereria Da Luz, 26, was pulled over in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, in June after he was spotted driving erratically. Keen-eyed officers then noticed screws missing from his vehicle and carried out a search. A black sock was found inside the steering column containing 12 vials of cocaine, and almost £900 in cash was also seized. Pereria Da Luz was then arrested and later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and with possessing criminal property - namely the seized cash. The defendant, of Chislehurst, Bromley, pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court, where he also admitted driving without a licence or insurance On August 11, he was sentenced to two years and seven months' imprisonment. Footage shows officers from Kent Police searching Pereria Da Luz and his moped. Sergeant Ed Kavanagh, of the Tunbridge Wells Neighbourhood Task Force, said: 'Drug dealers like Pereria Da Luz frequently use vehicles to conceal cocaine and other illicit substances, often utilising increasingly elaborate hiding places. 'However, at the same time our officers are trained to spot the signs and use their expert knowledge, keen instincts, and evolving search tactics, to consistently identify suspects and uncover their stashes. 'Every successful search is a step closer to dismantling the networks that fuel drug-related harm in our communities.'
