The charge of attempted murder with a firearm is listed in the documents obtained by The Post.

Two spent shell casings and an empty firearm holster were located by officers, per the warrant, which also indicated that 'cell phone video obtained from social media showed' Brown 'with the firearm in his hand.'
A separate social media clip posted in May featured Brown being led by a police officer, presumably in handcuffs.
Upon being 'carted away by officers,' Brown 'returned to the venue about 20 minutes later as a free man,' according to TMZ.

Former Bucs receiver Antonio Brown wanted for attempted murder: report
TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown is wanted on attempted murder charges connected to a celebrity boxing event in Miami last month. Brown was detained by authorities after he was involved in a fight with several people at the May 16 event, which was hosted by popular streamer Adin Ross. 'It was still chasing her': 9-year-old girl attacked by shark while swimming at Florida beach The former football player later took to social media, claiming he was 'jumped' by people attempting to steal his jewelry. A warrant obtained by the Washington Post stated that video showed Brown punching a man before stealing a gun from a security guard and running toward him. Police said the cellphone video then captured two gunshots ringing out. The victim was grazed in the neck by a bullet. A struggle ensued over the gun before police arrived and Brown walked away, according to the warrant. The victim, who said he has known Brown since 2022, was taken to the hospital. The wide receiver played 12 seasons in the NFL, including two with the Bucs. In January 2022, Brown took off his jersey and pads in the third quarter of a game and stormed off the field. He announced his retirement from professional football two months later. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Boy, 16, fired shots at teen he planned to fight to feel ‘like Superman': Polk deputies
POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A 16-year-old boy was charged with attempted first-degree murder after Polk County deputies said he ambushed a 19-year-old man he planned to fight by firing shots at him and his car. The Polk County Sheriff's Office said the investigation began on April 2 when deputies received a call from True Roofers on North Frontage Road after employees arrived at work and found spent shell casings on the ground. According to investigators, security footage showed an 'unidentified man' approach a silver Chevrolet Malibu and shoot at it several times until the car fled. The suspect was seen running away shortly after. Detectives later revealed that the Malibu driver was a 19-year-old man from Lakeland. Former Bucs receiver Antonio Brown wanted for attempted murder: report On April 9, deputies said they pulled the Malibu driver over for a traffic stop and interviewed him Deputies said the 19-year-old 'lied and said his car was shot when it was parked at his home while he was sleeping. He made several inconsistent statements regarding why his car had so many gunshots.' After being told about the security video, investigators said the man admitted to being at True Roofers when the shooting happened. 'He told detectives that he arrived in the area to fight with someone with whom he had been texting back and forth,' the sheriff's office said in a news release. However, the teen would not tell detectives who the shooter was. Deputies obtained search warrants for the Malibu and the 19-year-old's phone and social media accounts. Detectives said they determined that the 19-year-old was en route to a 16-year-old's house on the date of the shooting, but diverted due to the presence of law enforcement.' The victim went to True Roofers and told the 16-year-old to meet him there, the sheriff's office said. Detectives said they found an Instagram group message thread in the 19-year-old's phone that showed that he reported to others that he saw law enforcement officers on a traffic stop in the area of the 16-year-old's home, which is near True Roofers. 'He sent a photo of the fence around the back of the business and told the others he would 'jump it.' He was also seen on the business' video surveillance peering over the fence,' the sheriff's office said. Investigators said other phones and video within the Instagram chat showed the 16-year-old's house. At one point, someone said 'shoot the crib,' referring to the 16-year-old's house, deputies said. The 16-year-old was positively identified as one of the Instagram users with the group chat, and by witnesses who were shown the video surveillance of the shooting. In an affidavit, deputies said the 16-year-old was a 'juvenile delinquent' who was on conditional release stemming from a carjacking conviction. Detectives said they went to the 16-year-old's home and took him into custody on a warrant. During a search of his home, investigators said they found a loaded Glock model 19 9mm handgun with an extended magazine containing 28 rounds, modified with a 'switch.' The sheriff's office said it was illegally altered to be fired in a fully automatic fashion. The 16-year-old admitted to owning the gun, ordering the switch online and installing it himself, telling detectives that when shooting it, he 'felt like Superman,' the sheriff's office said. 'I am so proud of my detectives, who left no stone unturned until this case was solved and the suspect was appropriately charged. This violent teenaged suspect, who has already been convicted of a felony, played a very dangerous game so he could 'feel like Superman.' If he's Superman, then my detectives are his Kryptonite,' Sheriff Grady Judd said. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. About 60 people arrested after veterans' anti-ICE demonstration in Washington, DC, police say
Roughly 60 demonstrators were arrested on Friday outside the US Capitol after breaching a police line of bike racks and advancing toward steps leading to the Capitol Rotunda, according to Capitol Police. According to organizers, the group of veterans and military family members planned a sit-in on the Capitol steps to protest President Donald Trump's deployment of the National Guard and active-duty Marines in Los Angeles to respond to anti-ICE protests, as well as a military parade scheduled for Saturday. Advertisement The parade on Saturday also comes on Trump's 79th birthday. The president promised this week that anyone who protests at the parade will be met with 'very heavy force,' although White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt later said that Trump supports peaceful protests. A group of about 75 protesters were demonstrating peacefully Friday night at the Supreme Court, just across the street from the Capitol, according to a statement from Capitol Police. 7 A Capitol Police officer detains a protester in front of the Capitol Building on June 13, 2025. A short time later, about 60 people began to leave the area, so officers began establishing a perimeter using bike racks to keep the protesters away from the Capitol. 'A few people pushed the bike rack down and illegally crossed the police line while running towards the Rotunda Steps,' Capitol Police said in its statement. 'Our officers immediately blocked the group and began making arrests.' Getty Images for About Face: Veterans Against the War 'We want a future where we invest in care for veterans, in health care, and in education, not where we spend $50 million on a parade,' Brittany Ramos DeBarros, an Army combat veteran and Organizing Director of About Face: Veterans Against the War, said in a statement to WJLA. The Army will celebrate its 250th birthday on Saturday despite expected rain, with as many as 200,000 people expected to attend various events around the Capitol in addition to the military parade, which is estimated to cost around $45 million and will feature soldiers and military equipment, including tanks and airplanes.
