Jaideep said he is too small to compare both stars, but lauded Shah Rukh Khan for the popularity that he has achieved.

Meanwhile, Jaideep Alhawat has been confirmed for a role in Shah Rukh Khan's King. He said, 'They've cast me; they had been thinking about this for a long time, based on the information I got. But I think Sidharth bhai might have been a bit hesitant because it's a small part, and after Jewel Thief, doing small parts like this… Apparently, Khan sahab, being Khan sahab, said he'll talk to me, and who can refuse his offer?"
Jaideep has also rejected a role in Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana. Jaideep has himself confirmed the same, revealing that he couldn't take on the role due to scheduling conflicts. He shared that the role required him to shoot alongside Yash, who is playing Raavana, making the timing crucial. Since the dates didn't match, he was unable to commit to the project.
