A new internet trend has seen owners create adorable photos of their dogs cooking up a storm using ChatGPT.
There has been a rise in popularity of using AI to create viral images, from turning your dog into a human, to turning yourself or your pet into an action figure.
Now, pets of all shapes and sizes are modeling photoshoots in the kitchen: cooking dinner and baking treats, as a new trend takes flight online.
What Is the Trend of Prints of Pets Cooking Meals?
Social-media sites including TikTok and Instagram have been flooded with posts, usually first showing a normal photo of their dog, followed by shots of the animal taking control in the kitchen.
In one, shared by TikTok user @larisaatkin, a puppy kneads dough to make bread, shakes up cocktails, and prepares dinner in the kitchen.
And it is not just confined to kitchen photoshoots. One, shared by @delaney.barnes, shows her black Labrador retriever in the bathroom: covered in suds from the bath, brushing its teeth, and reading the newspaper on the toilet.

Go to chatgpt.com and log in, or sign up to create an account for free.
Upload a photo of your dog in the chat bar, and ask, as an example: "Please make a photo shoot of this exact dog doing different activities in the kitchen: baking, making cocktails, and cooking dinner. Make it photo-realistic, as if it was done by a photographer."
Make sure to give the chatbot as specific a prompt as possible, to avoid the photo shoot coming out with a different dog, or as a cartoon rather than a photograph.
The bot will begin generating the images, which may take some time.
Once the photo shoot has been generated, save and download the image and share it across social media.

You can view the AI dog kitchen photo shoot trend online by searching "AI dog photo shoot" on TikTok. On Instagram, to see different forms of the trend, search #dogbathroomart to see pups having baths and reading the paper on the toilet.
Some users, such as TikTok user @merideth.rutledge, have printed out the results of the AI photo shoot, and framed them to place around their home.
Others, such as @curator.collectiv, have gone even further, and showed their dogs on vacation across the world: skiing in Aspen, in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and even exploring the planet Mars.
What Is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a popular large language model (LLM) artificial intelligence tool. Created by OpenAI, it launched in November 2022, and its most-recent version, 4.5, was launched in February 2025.
It can be used to answer questions, have a conversation, or create images such as the pet photo shoot, dog-to-human photos, and transforming photos into cartoons.
ChatGPT, along with other LLMs such as Google's Gemini and Microsoft's Copilot, has been criticized for the large amount of energy it uses to power, with concerns raised about the environmental impact that comes with the rise in popularity of AI.
