THE RUNDOWN
Taylor Swift took the stage to perform for the first time since her Eras Tour wrapped—and she did it for her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Swift sang 'Shake It Off' at his Tight Ends & Friends concert at Nashville's Brooklyn Bowl last night. She chose to wear a little black EB Denim dress onstage—a piece that has since sold out.
Her longtime friend Abigail Anderson Berard shared footage on her Instagram Story:
Us Weekly also reported that Swift and Kelce had a double date with Anderson Berard and her husband; footage emerged on social media of the two couples arriving at the concert together.
Swift playing at the show was a surprise. Performer Kane Brown shared a photo of himself with Kelce and Swift, writing, 'When you think you're the special guest BUT you're not 😂'
Swift was in good spirits all night. She appeared with Claire Kittle, Sierra Pearson Wyrick, and makeup artist Arbella Yousif in one shot:
In a second Instagram, she photobombed Kelce, who was posing with Tommy Banker and Ian Thomas. 'As taylor said to me, its a crochet summer,' Banker captioned the shot.
Swift's appearance comes after she and Kelce made an unofficial red carpet debut at Monday evening's welcome reception for Tight End University, an event Kelce co-founded in 2021. A source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple appeared very smitten inside the party.
'Taylor and Travis kept things low-key, staying mostly towards the back of the VIP area, laughing and mingling with close friends,' the eyewitness said. '[They seemed] very much in love.'
Kelce and Swift will celebrate their two-year anniversary later this summer. A source told People on June 12 that Swift is looking forward to her partner's upcoming NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs 'not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she's not juggling a packed tour schedule. This fall will be completely different. It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.'
The insider added that 'Taylor plans to be at as many of his games as possible. They've both had such demanding schedules for so long, so having this stretch of time where things aren't quite as chaotic feels like a welcome change.'

'The Social Network' Sequel Will Focus on How Facebook Causes ‘Harm' Today

Every item on this page was chosen by an ELLE editor. We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy. Nearly every film is getting a sequel these days, from Freaky Friday to Top Gun, but one we did not see coming? The Social Network, the 2010 film from writer Aaron Sorkin and director David Fincher that followed the rise of Facebook from Mark Zuckerberg's Harvard dorm room to one of the most powerful forces on the internet. But Facebook's story—at least according to Sorkin—is not done yet. More than 15 years after the original Oscar-nominated drama, he will revisit the platform amid a whole new era of social media. Here's what to know about The Social Network Part II. According to Deadline, the film will be based on 'The Facebook Files,' a series of investigative reports published in October 2021 by The Wall Street Journal that exposed the harms Facebook knowingly caused, or allowed to persist, on its platforms. These claims ranged from suppressing certain political movements to having a toxic impact on teen girls. 'Facebook Inc. knows, in acute detail, that its platforms are riddled with flaws that cause harm, often in ways only the company fully understands,' per the introduction to the files. 'That is the central finding of a Wall Street Journal series, based on a review of internal Facebook documents, including research reports, online employee discussions and drafts of presentations to senior management.' Although the sequel news might sound surprising, Sorkin, who is writing and directing, had been thinking about doing a Social Network follow-up for some time, but was searching for the right angle. He found much-needed inspiration following the Jan. 6, 2020 insurrection, which he believes Facebook played a part in. Sources emphasized to Deadline, however, that this won't be a 'January 6 movie,' but will instead highlight a range of issues including the 2020 election, the site's 'effect on teens, preteens, violence, and countries outside the U.S.' Jesse Eisenberg famously portrayed Zuckerberg in the original film, but 'it is unknown how big a role he will have in this story and whether Sorkin has been in touch with him to reprise the part,' Deadline reports. It's also not clear whether any of the original cast members will return, or which new players will be featured in the sequel. No official casting announcements have been made yet. The Social Network originally starred Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Armie Hammer, Rooney Mara, Dakota Johnson, Brenda Song, and more. There is no release date set yet, given that reports about the project have just been made public. But we'll keep an eye out for more news. There is no production date set either, as casting now appears to be underway, according to Deadline. Watch The Social Network on Prime Video This story will be updated.

Taylor Swift 'Ready For It' With Loving Supporting of Chiefs' Travis Kelce At TEU Event

Taylor Swift 'Ready For It' With Loving Supporting of Chiefs' Travis Kelce At TEU Event originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, are slowly stepping out into the public space more and more over the past few weeks. Advertisement And their latest was at the Tight End University event in Nashville. The Tight End University, founded in 2021 by Kelce, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen, brings together tight ends for a three-day program to learn everything there is to know about the position, both on and off the field. At the launch event, a video posted by the TEU Instagram account showed Swift walking in with Travis, the pair holding hands. Oh, and the music behind the video? Swift's "Ready For It" song. Travis Kelce and Taylor SwiftMark J. Rebilas, Barry Reeger-Imagn Images The Instagram account also posted several photos from the night, which included a shot of Swift, Kelce, along with Kittle, his partner, and Oslen and his partner before the party could get underway. Advertisement It is now a staple of the NFL calendar for tight ends, as this is a time where they can go and mingle, talk football, and get tips from some of the best in the game. Not only that, but also up-and-comers, too, as the position has garnered quite the following over the last decade. However, while all of that is great, fans were all eyes on Taylor and Travis, despite the event being a football game. Seeing Swift out and about with other NFL stars would have been great for the "Swifties" to see, and we think that she and Travis are perhaps in the best spot they've ever been in their relationship. Taylor Swift grabs the spotlight with ‘Shake It Off' at a Tight End University event

So, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce walk into a bar. No, that's not the setup to a joke: It's an introduction to what happened Tuesday night in Nashville, where Tay delivered a surprise acoustic performance of 'Shake It Off' at a concert linked to her boyfriend's Tight End University camp. First, country singer Kane Brown, who was hanging out at the Tight Ends & Friends event at the Brooklyn Bowl, teased a 'really, really, really special guest' by way of introducing the megastar, the New York Post reported Wednesday. Swift took the stage in a black minidress and knee-high black boots. She said she didn't have a guitar with her — they're difficult to fit into a going-out clutch purse, perhaps? — so she borrowed one from 'Eyes on You' singer Chace Rice, according to E! News. Brown and Swift shared the mic for the song's final choruses, E! said. Swift told the crowd that she decided to perform with Kane 'three minutes ago.' 'See, the one thing tight ends have in common with Nashville musicians,' she said on stage, 'is we're all friends, right? We would like to dedicate this to our favorite players, who are going to play.' Play play play play, indeed. After the tune, Swift retired to the balcony with her beau, an 'insider' told People. 'They made their way upstairs,' where 'they chatted with the TEU athletes and guests' and 'stayed by each other's side all while chit-chatting and catching up with everyone.' Drinks were had. Tight End University, by the way, is an annual event spun up by NFL tight ends Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers and Greg Olsen, formerly of the Seattle Seahawks. Once a year at Vanderbilt University, current and former tight ends gather for three days of bonding, collaboration and learning from one another. TEU also runs events that generate money for charity, its website says. Since Swift's Eras Tour wrapped in Vancouver, B.C. in early December, the singer has been hitting up NFL games — including the Kansas City Chiefs' sad-trombone 2025 Super Bowl — and celebrating the purchase of her master recordings. That and going on a date night with Kelce. And going on a date night again. And again. And again. And — you get it. Someone has to keep the fans focused, right?
