Aston Villa, Tottenham Receive Transfer Boost as Man Utd Rejected Chance to Sign PSG-Linked Attacker
Even though he's under contract until 2026, Juventus seem open to moving him, largely due to his hefty wages and the financial pressure they're putting on the club. PSG, meanwhile, are expected to revamp their front line, with both Randal Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos rumored to be available.
CaughtOffside previously reported that PSG started tracking Vlahović earlier this year. Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked, potentially setting the stage for a bidding war. With only one year left on his deal after this season, Juventus could look to sell now rather than risk losing him for free in 2026.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester United were offered the chance to sign Vlahović but chose to turn it down.
In his latest column for CaughtOffside, journalist Alfredo Pedulla shared an update on the Serbia international's situation, suggesting the transfer saga could stretch into the final days of August.
'Dusan is waiting for the right opportunity, which I identified back in early June as being Milan,' Pedulla wrote. 'Nearly two months have passed, and we're still on that path. Of course, certain conditions need to be met (severance deal, affordable transfer fee and other possible factors), but it's still a live option.
'And there's an important detail: if you sign Vlahovic at the end of August, you save €2m net (around €4m gross) in wages for a couple of months. Definitely not small change. So, it's better to let Dusan's hourglass run out as much as possible.'
CaughtOffside also reported last month that Newcastle United, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest are all keeping tabs on the striker. It remains to be seen whether any of them hold off until late in the window in hopes of landing a better deal.

Indeed, he is eager to move to San Siro, and the Nerazzurri are ready to bring him in once Atalanta soften their stance. Furthermore, Cristian Chivu's men have no intention of pursuing other targets. Despite being linked with several elite stars, such as Jadon Sancho, Inter only want Lookman. However, Atalanta hold the keys to the diminutive forward's fate.

Update On Tottenham Hotspur And Their Pursuit Of This Atletico Madrid Ace: Good Option For Frank?
In a recent report, Fichajes offered an update on Tottenham Hotspur and their pursuit of Atletico Madrid ace Conor Gallagher this summer. It is understood that Spurs are prepared to launch a €50m move to sign the English midfielder this summer. Gallagher's Decent Form In La Liga The 25-year-old enjoyed a good campaign at the Wanda Metropolitano recently after he produced a series of eye-catching displays at the heart of Diego Simeone's midfield. Gallagher found the back of the net four times and earned six assists in 50 appearances for Atletico Madrid last season in all competitions. The English talent offered decent protection for his teammates at the back as he made 45 tackles, 23 blocks and 20 interceptions in La Liga. He was even tidy when distributing possession from midfield, based on his pass completion rate of 85% in the top tier of Spanish football (stats via Gallagher's current contract at the Spanish club will run out in the summer of 2029. Thus, Spurs would have to make a convincing offer if they want to get a deal done for him. MADRID, SPAIN – MARCH 16: Conor Gallagher of Atletico de Madrid reacts during the La Liga EA Sports match between Atletico de Madrid and FC Barcelona at Riyadh Air Metropolitano on March 16, 2025 in Madrid, Spain. (Photo by Florencia) Is Gallagher A Good Option For Tottenham Hotspur Boss Thomas Frank? Gallagher is a solid tackler of the ball and can sense the danger well to make some important interceptions for his team at the centre of the park. He doesn't mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot and is a good passer of the ball as well. The English talent can even chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals from midfield. He has got plenty of experience in the Premier League and is well-equipped to make an immediate impact at the North London club. Gallagher would bring more energy and dynamism to Tottenham boss Thomas Frank's midfield. He is more than capable of securing a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season. At 25, Gallagher has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a good option for Spurs to consider in this transfer window. Therefore, it makes sense for Frank to try everything in his power to lure him to North London ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Louisiana-Monroe coach Bryant Vincent named as school's interim athletic director
Louisiana-Monroe football coach Bryant Vincent is now the school's interim athletic director. Vincent was placed in charge of the school's athletic department on Tuesday following John Hartwell's resignation on Monday. Vincent, who is entering just his second season at ULM, will continue to coach the football team as the interim AD in a unique situation. No other head coach at the FBS level also serves as his school's athletic director. 'I am grateful to Bryant for stepping up to serve as the interim AD,' ULM president Carrie Castille said in a statement. 'Not only is Bryant a leader, but he builds teams and communities. Bryant has the support of the associate ADs and will be working closely with them to ensure he can serve both roles and win games. He has already gained the support of this community as a head coach, and I hope that everyone will join me in rallying around him to support ULM athletics.' According to Hartwell resigned over budget issues. The school has one of the smallest athletic department budgets among those that compete at the top level of college football and there could be more cuts coming to that budget. The school said Monday that Hartwell "will be pursuing other professional opportunities." Hartwell hired Vincent after the 2023 season. Vincent, who was the interim coach at UAB in 2022, was passed over for the permanent job with the Blazers and moved to Monroe, where the team had its best season since 2019. ULM was a win away from the school's first bowl game since 2012 halfway through the 2024 season, but ended the year on a six-game losing streak.
