Taylor Swift's Massive Chart Comeback Begins As Fans Respond To Her Good News
Taylor Swift sees a dozen albums chart in the U.K. after reclaiming her catalog rights, with 1989, ... More Reputation, and more reentering multiple tallies. TOPSHOT - American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift performs on stage as part of her Eras Tour in Lisbon on May 24, 2024. (Photo by ANDRE DIAS NOBRE / AFP) (Photo by ANDRE DIAS NOBRE/AFP via Getty Images) This week on the music charts in the United Kingdom, Taylor Swift sees a dozen of her albums appear, which is a rare sight for any name. Her entire catalog is surging in terms of both sales and streaming activity after she revealed that she has finally acquired the rights to her full discography. That announcement led many of her fans to rush to consume her earlier efforts, which some had been avoiding for years. Instead, they had focused their listening on the Taylor's Version equivalents of several titles, when available – but now they can love both. Half of Swift's charting albums this week return to the U.K. rankings. Many hadn't found a place on any tally just days ago, but now almost all her projects come flooding back. 1989 manages the most impressive comeback among Swift's catalog — at least when looking at the number of charts it reappears on. The full-length returns to five tallies, including a top 40 restart on the Official Albums ranking. Reputation finds its way back to four rankings it missed just last week. It reenters the top 10 on all but one of them, narrowly missing out on hitting No. 1 on the Official Album Downloads chart. It's blocked only by Something Beautiful, the latest full-length by Miley Cyrus, which opens in first place. The project now lives on a total of six tallies, but only returns to four this frame. It surges dozens of spaces on the other two, and even manages to break back into the highest tier on the Official Albums chart, vaulting from No. 70 to No. 7. Three titles break back onto a trio of charts apiece, as Taylor Swift, Fearless, and Speak Now all accomplish the feat. The first two projects reach new high points on at least one ranking. Swift's self-titled debut also nearly reconquers the Official Country Artists Albums chart, but the singer-songwriter couldn't topple I'm the Problem by Morgan Wallen. Only Red finds its way back to just two rankings in the U.K. For some time now, fans have been buying and streaming Red (Taylor's Version) instead of the original. This time around, the decade-plus-old collection narrowly finds space in the lower reaches of both the Official Physical Albums and Official Albums Sales charts, while its recreated take is nowhere to be seen.

Blake Lively Has Replaced Taylor Swift With ‘Real' People, Claims ‘Source'
Blake Lively and Taylor Swift's friendship was a tight-knit one. When the Grammy winner was dragged into Blake Lively's ongoing legal battle with her 'It Ends With Us' co-star Justin Baldoni, the two drifted apart. Some reports started doing the rounds that Taylor Swift had distanced herself from the actor. As per a 'source,' Blake Lively has replaced Taylor Swift with 'real' people in her life. According to the 'friend', this move comes as 'Gossip Girl' alum wants to take revenge on Taylor Swift for kicking her out of the circle. Amid the personal and professional drama, Blake Lively has lost a great deal in the process. This also includes her once close friend Taylor Swift. Their friendship dates back to 2015 and has grown strong over the years. This was until Taylor Swift was dragged into the Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively legal drama. The latter had filed the lawsuit in 2024 with harassment charges against her co-star. Now, Blake Lively is on a mission to rebuild her friend circle. This includes Gigi Hadid, Salma Hayek, Emily Blunt, Florence Welch, and Karlie Kloss. The actor emphasises the need to have 'real people' in the group who can be with her. As per RadarOnline, the source said, 'Blake's not crying over spilled champagne. Her new girl squad may not be packed with pop stars, but it's real, and that's what she needs right now.' The friend further clarified that the actor wants reliable people in her circle. Blake Lively is 'also looking to build up more high-profile bonds.' Meanwhile, they stated the actor wants to prove to Swift that 'she is still a Hollywood heavyweight.' The source added that she is rebuilding her inner circle, due to 'bitterness' toward the pop icon. Taylor Swift & Blake Lively Maintaining Distance Despite Lawsuit Dismissal, Says ‘Source'
Taylor Swift and Blake Lively reportedly have yet to overcome the distance in their friendship. The news came after the dismissal of Justin Baldoni's lawsuit in court. Per Us Weekly, amid her recent legal victory, Lively is still far from rekindling her bond with Swift. The Grammy Award-winning singer has also allegedly refrained from making any contact with the actor. Taylor Swift and Blake Lively's friendship is still suffering a fallout post the actor's recent legal win after the court dismissed her 'It Ends with Us' co-star, Justin Baldoni's lawsuit. Per Us Weekly, a 'source' told them, 'Although it was great news for Blake, she hasn't rekindled her friendship with Taylor yet.' The 'insider' further claimed that Taylor Swift 'has not been in touch with' Blake Lively. The person said that the pop artist 'still does not want to discuss anything to do with the lawsuit.' However, the 'source' said to the news outlet that the 'The Age of Adaline' actor is still 'hopeful' that she and the singer will mend and revive their long-time 'friendship.' After that, the person added, 'But as of now, there is still distance.' Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have been at the center of a long-standing legal dispute for quite some time now. It all began with the filing of Swift's lawsuit against Baldoni back in December 2024. In January, the 'It Ends with Us' director filed a counter lawsuit against Swift in the case. Subsequently, Baldoni's lawyer went on to subpoena Taylor Swift in court. However, the summons was reportedly withdrawn in May. At the time, Lively's representative told the news outlet, 'We supported the efforts of Taylor's team to quash these inappropriate subpoenas directed to her counsel.' 'We will continue to stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed or threatened in the process,' the rep added.
