Taylor Swift and Blake Lively reportedly have yet to overcome the distance in their friendship. The news came after the dismissal of Justin Baldoni's lawsuit in court. Per Us Weekly, amid her recent legal victory, Lively is still far from rekindling her bond with Swift. The Grammy Award-winning singer has also allegedly refrained from making any contact with the actor.
Taylor Swift and Blake Lively's friendship is still suffering a fallout post the actor's recent legal win after the court dismissed her 'It Ends with Us' co-star, Justin Baldoni's lawsuit. Per Us Weekly, a 'source' told them, 'Although it was great news for Blake, she hasn't rekindled her friendship with Taylor yet.'
The 'insider' further claimed that Taylor Swift 'has not been in touch with' Blake Lively. The person said that the pop artist 'still does not want to discuss anything to do with the lawsuit.' However, the 'source' said to the news outlet that the 'The Age of Adaline' actor is still 'hopeful' that she and the singer will mend and revive their long-time 'friendship.' After that, the person added, 'But as of now, there is still distance.'
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have been at the center of a long-standing legal dispute for quite some time now. It all began with the filing of Swift's lawsuit against Baldoni back in December 2024. In January, the 'It Ends with Us' director filed a counter lawsuit against Swift in the case. Subsequently, Baldoni's lawyer went on to subpoena Taylor Swift in court.
However, the summons was reportedly withdrawn in May. At the time, Lively's representative told the news outlet, 'We supported the efforts of Taylor's team to quash these inappropriate subpoenas directed to her counsel.' 'We will continue to stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed or threatened in the process,' the rep added.

Six-time Emmy-winning actor Bryan Cranston, currently seen making elaborate basketball shots in The Phoenician Scheme, stopped by the Fly on the Wall podcast studio to gab with David Spade and Dana Carvey this week. Naturally, the conversation turned to when Cranston hosted Saturday Night Live back in 2010. While SNL maintains a robust writing staff, the official policy is to allow, even encourage, the guest stars to pitch ideas for their appearances. (It's tough coming up with new sketches week to week, so any help is welcome, we suppose.) This does not mean, however, that these suggestions automatically get greenlit, as Cranston soon learned. "I just wanted to do anything. I had a couple pitches for them," Cranston told the two SNL alumni. "I pitched ideas which were almost immediately shut down. I had a great pitch." Cranston continued with this "great pitch." You be the judge: "So: myself and a date and another couple. We can't believe we got reservations for this restaurant. It's supposed to be amazing. It's called In the Sauce, and it's like, wow. And this very snooty waiter comes in and says, 'Are you ready?' Can we see a menu? 'No. We don't give menus. We serve you food. You eat the food. You leave.' You know? It's like, oh, okay. Yes. Yes. Yes." So far, so good. We are primed for some comedy. What's coming next? "And they say," Cranston went on, "'It's all about the sauce.' So he puts down a crudite, and we dip it in the sauce, and it's, like, oh my god. Just amazing. Crudite is taken away. Here comes the entree. You're eating the entree. We're eating. Oh my god, this sauce is absolutely insane. We're overeating. We eat too much. We throw up." It gets better! "We dip the barf in the sauce. Oh my god. It's all about the sauce. It's like no matter what you're eating, as long as the sauce is good. It's like, you have a severed finger and you dip it in the sauce and it's still good." Cranston concluded, "It didn't get past the Monday meeting," before adding, "I truncated that pitch. It goes much longer." Heaven only knows where Cranston came up with such a repulsive idea, but it is possible he was inspired in some way by the legendary character Mr. Creosote from the 1983 film Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. One could argue that this sketch is a pointed commentary about class inequality, or you could also say it was Python's attempt to make everyone in the audience as sick to their stomach as possible. David Beckham, Gary Oldman, Elaine Paige and others honored by King Charles III
LONDON (AP) — Arise Sir David, Sir Gary and Sir Roger. And Dame Elaine, Dame Pat and Dame Penny. Former England soccer captain David Beckham, Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman and The Who's frontman Roger Daltrey were knighted in King Charles III's birthday honors list released late Friday. Elaine Paige, the renowned musicals singer, Booker Prize-winning novelist Pat Barker and former Conservative government minister Penny Mordaunt were given damehoods, the female equivalent of a knighthood. The honors, which aim to reward individuals for their contributions to British life, are awarded twice a year to celebrities and public figures as well as ordinary people: Once at New Year's, and then in June to mark the king's birthday. The winners are chosen by civil servants' committees based on nominations from the government and the public. The awards are usually given out by the king or a senior royal acting in his place at Buckingham Palace. The Sirs Beckham, 50, was widely expected to be knighted following speculation last week that appeared to be based on a conversation he had with the monarch at the Chelsea Flower Show last month. As well as representing England 115 times, including 59 times as captain, Beckham played for some of Europe's most venerable clubs, most notably Manchester United and Real Madrid. He has been knighted for his services to sport and to charity, having partnered with UNICEF, the U.N.'s children's fund, for two decades and campaigned with a charity working to eradicate malaria. Beckham also played a pivotal role in London being awarded the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. 'Growing up in east London with parents and grandparents who were so patriotic and proud to be British, I never could have imagined I would receive such a truly humbling honor," he said. Oldman, 67, was recognized for his services to drama both on screen and on stage. He won an Oscar for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in the 2017 film 'Darkest Hour," and recently dazzled audiences in the Apple TV spy thriller series ' Slow Horses.' Daltrey, who co-founded The Who in 1964, has been recognized for services to charity as well as music, having been a patron of 'Teenage Cancer Trust' since 2000. The 81-year-old, who led the charity's concert series at Royal Albert Hall for more than two decades, said he was humbled by the award. 'It's a dream come true for me, but it's especially a dream because the charity means so much," he said. The Dames Paige, 77, was honoured for her services to charity as well as music. She has held senior roles at a charity supporting young people with acquired brain injury and another one that supports disabled tennis players. 'I've got all these different emotions coming at me all at once," she said. "I'm proud and I feel grateful and I'm thrilled and surprised, and so it's been quite a lot to take in.' Barker, 82, known for 'The Regeneration Trilogy," said she thought the letter announcing her damehood was from 'really angry' tax authorities. 'Nobody else does that kind of quality of paper," she said. 'I still sort of had to read the first paragraph several times before it sank in.' A year on from losing her seat at the general election when her Conservative Party lost office, Mordaunt said it was 'lovely to be appreciated in this way.' Mordaunt, 52, saw her profile boosted during the king's coronation ceremony in 2023. The former lawmaker made a memorable appearance bearing the 'sword of state," the first time the duty had been carried out by a woman. The 'Companion' Antony Gormley, the sculptor who was knighted in 2014, was made a 'Companion of Honour' for his services to art. The award is one of the most prestigious that the monarch can bestow to citizens in Britain and across the Commonwealth, as there are only 65 companions at any one time. Introduced in 1917 by King George V, the award recognizes people who have made 'a major contribution to the arts, science, medicine, or government lasting over a long period of time.' Current members include British environmentalist David Attenborough, Canadian author Margaret Atwood and one of Britain's greatest-ever athletes Sebastian Coe. Hundreds more are awarded The honors don't just reward people in the public eye. More than 1,200 people received honours in the latest list. Women made up 48% of those honored, with 11% of recipients from ethnic minority backgrounds. The oldest recipient was 106-year-old World War II veteran William Irwin, who was awarded a British Empire Medal, for his services to the community. The youngest was 11-year-old disability campaigner Carmela Chillery-Watson, who was made a 'Member of the Most Excellent Order British Empire," or MBE. Chillery-Watson, who has LMNA congenital muscular dystrophy, has become the youngest ever recipient of the award for helping raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for Muscular Dystrophy UK. In what is thought to be a first, three members of the same family were named in the same list. Jenna Speirs, her mother Caroline and father Duncan were each awarded a British Empire Medal for founding a children's cancer charity called Calum's Cabin after Jenna's twin brother died of an inoperable brain tumour aged 12. Campaigners who have fought to tackle the rise of knife crime were also recognized. Pooja Kanda, whose 16-year-old son was murdered with a ninja sword near his home, was awarded the Order of the British Empire, or OBE. Alison Madgin, the mother of 18-year-old Samantha Madgin, who was knifed to death, was made an MBE alongside her daughter Carly Barrett.

Kate Beckinsale Sues ‘Canary Black' Producers for Negligence, Battery and ‘Unsafe' Set Conditions
Kate Beckinsale is suing the producers of her 2024 film Canary Black, Us Weekly can confirm. Beckinsale, 51, filed an amended complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court on May 21, per legal documents obtained by Us on Wednesday, June 11. She accuses Anton Entertainment and producer John Zois of negligence, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The document alleges that Beckinsale 'was repeatedly exposed to unsafe and dangerous conditions' while filming the action thriller from late 2022 to early 2023, and as a result, suffered 'severe and debilitating injuries, including significant trauma to her left knee.' The complaint alleges that the actress and 'her team repeatedly raised red flags regarding unsafe conditions on and off set to Defendants, including long, dangerous set days, often lasting fifteen hours, inadequate equipment and medical personnel to help manage the high physical workload and recover from the exertion off set, and failure to adequately inform Ms. Beckinsale of what stunts she was expected to perform until often the moment she had to perform it." Kate Beckinsale Responds to Blake Lively Suit With Details of Her Own Mistreatment on Set Beckinsale's complaint alleges that producers ignored the red flags and "continued to recklessly and intentionally forge ahead with unsafe filming conditions, forgoing safety to maintain profit margins, and in the process, put [her] in harm's way." Originally, she filed the complaint in December, under the name Jane Doe. Her amended filing reveals emails between Beckinsale's team and Canary Black producers as well as additional information about her injuries, which included a complex meniscus tear in her left knee. "No one is actually taking real action to put a plan in place to fix this situation so it never happens again… [Beckinsale] keeps showing up to set for her call time and everyone around her has been made aware it's going to be a 15 hour [or more] day except for her,' Beckinsale's agent, Shani Rosenzweig, wrote in an email to Zois. The agent demanded swift action to address unsafe conditions, adding, "If you're trying to kill a person, you're doing a great job." Everything Celebrities Have Said About Working With Intimacy Coordinators on TV and Movie Sets Per the complaint, Zois responded, 'I don't know what else to say other than you're right.' He said "we need to shorten these days," agreeing that the pace was "not sustainable." However, the complaint alleges, "set conditions continued to be dangerous, with production staff routinely pushing [Beckinsale] to shoot for fifteen hour days, and perform dangerous action sequences, without pre-clearing or pre-training." In December 2022, Beckinsale injured her knee while filming an action scene. She underwent surgery and the production was delayed two months. She returned to set in February 2023, with a notice from her surgeon that she "could not do running, kicking, diving, or hanging from a harness, among other activities." The Canary Black team allegedly "disregarded" the notice and Beckinsale "suffered further injury, including aggravation and exacerbation of her existing injuries, which was entirely avoidable," per the complaint. Canary Black, which dropped on Prime Video in October 2024, stars Beckinsale as Avery Graves, a CIA operative whose husband is kidnapped by terrorists. In order to save her husband, she is tasked with betraying her own country. When the film was released, Beckinsale took to Instagram and posted multiple photos of injuries she endured from doing her own stunts on the set of the film. Each snap showed off a different injury, revealing various bruises and cuts on her arms, hands, fingers, knees and elbows.
