Knowing what to get Dad for Father's Day can be a challenge, but here's something he might not think about buying for himself. Audible, Amazon's audiobook platform, is offering a special Father's Day deal that includes a free Premium Plus trial, allowing them to listen to all kinds of books as they're going about their daily business.
One book included in the offer is Jeremy Clarkson's book Diddly Squat: A Year on the Farm, narrated by the man himself. Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm, which follows the former Top Gear presenter as he learns the ways of farming his beautiful land in the Cotswolds, has proven to be immensely popular, and Clarkson's book gives readers some extra insight into his agricultural venture.
After the free first month is done, the Audible subscription is then down to £8.99 a month, with an array of books to choose from.

As the deal aligns perfectly with Father's Day, it is worth noting some of the fan favourites for dads on the platform currently. Firstly is the previously mentioned Diddly Squat: A Year on the Farm audiobook by Jeremy Clarkson which invites listeners to the English TV presenter's farm and his experience of farming for himself. The book is narrated by Clarkson as he describes his journey with the help from his team including girlfriend Lisa, Kaleb the tractor driver, cheerful Charlie, Ellen the shepherd and his head of security, Gerald.
Other options include The World According to Kaleb, narrated by Clarkson's buddy Kaleb Cooper, in which he speaks about his strong views on many things: sheep, Jeremy Clarkson's farming journey and other topics such as philosophy, why farming is the best job in the world and even goats. Cooper also has several other audiobooks including It's a Farming Thing and Britain According to Kaleb, meaning dad won't be struggling to find books to listen to.
If it's fiction that dad prefers to listen to, there are thousands of options on Audible to choose from. For example, there's Stephen King's new release Never Flinch, which is described as a thriller that intertwines a number of storylines, or Richard Osman's The Thursday Murder Club, which follows four unlikely friends in a retirement village who meet up once a week to investigate unsolved murders - until a brutal killing takes place on their own doorstep.
Richard Osman's books are also available on Audible

However, Audible isn't the only platform with audiobooks. Shoppers could also try Spotify which offers over 250,000 audiobook titles for Premium subscribers to stream every month. Shoppers can enjoy up to 15 hours of audiobook listening time monthly on the platform, enjoying everything from sci-fi to romance and all in between, as well as music, for £11.99 per month. Apple also has audiobooks available through Apple Books which allows shoppers to buy, listen to and read books.
The books on Audible have been rated highly. For example Diddly Squat: A Year on the Farm by Clarkson has a high 4.8 out of 5 star rating from over 2000 reviews on Audible.
One person said: 'Brilliant book. Having watched the series, I was dubious about the book being a repeat of what I had already watched on TV. But it was actually amazing and funny. I think that the fact it was read by Jeremy Clarkson too made it even better as you can hear how much he enjoyed farming and the lengthy battles that it presents a farmer in the UK.'

Another said: 'Excellent humorous book. I hope there's a follow up. Well worth the money and Clarkson at his best.'

Some people, however, weren't as happy with the audiobook as one person commented: 'Loved the programme and thought I'd enjoy the book but it wasn't for me personally.'

Reeves could leave farmers with Diddly Squat
The powers that be at Amazon seem to have an uncanny talent for releasing each new series of Clarkson's Farm just as British politics descends into fresh farming chaos. The new series is no different. At the exact moment that I am watching Jeremy Clarkson and the cast of Diddly Squat farm get their government-funded agri-environment schemes in order for the year, over in Whitehall, Rachel Reeves is plotting how to cut the budget that pays for them. A recurring theme so far in the show's fourth series has been the jibes directed at the government for paying farmers for seemingly non-food things, like establishing wildflower meadows. Initially, this does seem strange. That is, until you realise that farming is not just about the end product. It is about ensuring that the land that grows this food is stewarded well. Other options he discusses, like planting herbal leys, benefit food production directly, by providing forage for livestock, alongside improvements to soil health. Government schemes now pay farmers public money to farm in a more environmentally-friendly way.

Louise Thompson shares her ‘great SKIMS t-shirt dupe' you can shop on Amazon
Louise Thompson has managed to track down the perfect alternative to Skims' £48 T-shirt, as she shared the £12 Amazon alternative that she's 'chuffed' with When it comes to wardrobe essentials, a simple white T-shirt is one of the most basic but essential items you can have. Easy to pair with anything, dress up or down and an instant way to make something look crisp and put together, we would hazard a guess that there's not a wardrobe in the world that doesn't have one. However if you are in the market for adding a white T-shirt to your outfit rotations, Louise Thompson has found the perfect one that's affordable, flattering and easy to wear. Posting on Instagram, Louise shared a link to Amazon's Risipu Women's Short Sleeve T-Shirt, writing: 'I have found a great SKIMS dupe T-shirt from Amazon and I'm feeling chuffed about it.' It's worth noting that Louise's post was tagged as an ad, presumably with the former Made in Chelsea star working alongside Amazon. However there's no denying that the affordable tee is a perfect pick for anyone wanting to get the SKIMS look for less. Whilst SKIMS' Short-Sleeved Slim-Fit Stretch-Cotton T-Shirt is priced at £48, Louise's Amazon doppleganger is much more affordable at £11.99. It gives you the same slim-fitting and streamlined look, with a cropped length that hits just on your waist for a flattering fit. Available in five different colours including white, black and pink, it's a great addition to your wardrobe basics. We also spotted similar styles at Hollister, where its Soft Stretch Seamless Fabric Longline Baby Tee is on sale down from £15.95 to £9.99, and New Look, where the £12.99 White Crew Neck Short Sleeve Bodysuit is ideal for getting a longer fit and more coverage. However the Amazon Risipu Women's Short Sleeve T-Shirt is a great buy, with a classic crew neck and made from a soft, breathable and stretchy fabric that's 5% cotton. It's also available in sizes small to extra large. It's also been highly rated by other Amazon shoppers, with one saying: 'Soft and true to size, stretchy lightweight fabric easily washable, easy to dress up and down, comfortable and stylish option for everyday wear.' Another agreed: 'The quality of this T-shirt is excellent and is breathable as well! I got the black one and it goes well with any colour and type of pants. This is also great for layering clothes. The sleeves are short and go halfway above my elbows. It's cropped and it shows my waist.' One however mentioned: 'Fabric was soft but T-shirt was extremely see through.'
