'Really, really harsh' - Birmingham boss left fuming at penalty decision in Town draw
The newly-promoted home side dominated most of the game against Town, but had to settle for a point after George Hirst coolly slotted home a penalty in added time.
That was awarded after a cross into the box deflected off the hand of Lyndon Dykes as he jumped to try to clear the danger.

And Davies said: 'I thought it was really, really harsh. He's gone up and obviously his arms are raised – you have to raise your arms to jump – and it's scraped his fingers on the way down.
"It's really harsh. I would be surprised if anyone doesn't have that opinion. That's happened now, we just have to take it.
'It's made a huge impact on the game because we were one-nil up with a couple of minutes to go. That's football, it can happen.'

The Birmingham boss also lamented a decision earlier in the game which saw Kyogo Furuhashi adjudged to have fouled towering Town defender Jacob Greaves before he lobbed the ball into the net just seven minutes in.

"Again, I thought it was harsh," Davies admitted. "You only have to look at Kyogo to see the size of him compared to the centre-back. For me, that one looked harsh.
'The good news is that is what Kyogo is capable of. He was trying to make the right runs and was disciplined in his performance. I'm really happy with him.'

The coach of 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina has been cleared by the WTA Tour to return from his suspension for a potential breach of its code of conduct. Stefano Vukov was provisionally suspended in January while the tour conducted an investigation. It announced in February that had been completed and that the ban remained in place, without saying how long it would last. The organization said Friday that Vukov would again be permitted to receive credentials allowing him access to player areas and practice courts at its events. 'The WTA is fully committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all athletes and other participants, as set out in our WTA Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Code,' the tour said in a statement. 'Any sanctions issued following a breach of these safeguarding rules are carefully considered and are subject to appeal before an independent tribunal. While case details remain confidential, we can confirm that Mr. Vukov is eligible to receive credentials at WTA events.' The New York Times first reported that Vukov's ban had been lifted. Rybakina announced before last year's US Open that Vukov would no longer be her coach, but then said before the Australian Open that he would be rejoining her team. She insisted that he had never mistreated her during their time working together. Rybakina, ranked No. 10 on the WTA Tour, just reached the semifinals of the National Bank Open in Montreal before losing to Canadian teenager Victoria Mboko, the eventual champion.

Tottenham open talks with Manchester City over €50m transfer
Tottenham Hotspur have opened talks with Manchester City over a deal to sign Savinho. The two clubs are in discussions over a potential deal for the Brazilian winger. Savinho signed for Manchester City from sister-club Girona last summer and enjoyed a mixed first campaign in the Premier League. He provided eight assists for Pep Guardiola's side, but scored just once in 21 league starts. Manchester City winger Savinho open to Tottenham transfer The Athletic are reporting that City are not actively looking to sell Savinho but will consider offers with a fee in the region of €50m (£43m) being discussed. Crucially, the 21-year-old is open to a move to North London in search of a more prominent role. City have added Rayan Cherki to their attacking options this summer, while Oscar Bobb has also returned from a long-term lay-off. Guardiola is unlikely to stand in Savinho's way if the player pushes for a move. The Citizens are also keen to reduce their squad numbers ahead of the upcoming campaign. Thomas Frank wants to add another creative player to his squad, after James Maddison was ruled out for for several months with an ACL injury. Heung-min Son has also departed, joining MLS outfit Los Angeles FC for a fee in the region of £20m. Spurs have signed Mohammed Kudus from West Ham but missed out on the signing of Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White. Following a successful morning on Saturday, the International Balloon Fiesta continues into Sunday. Weekend vibes: First Friday of the month evenings in the summer mean Bike Night at Fowlers Motorcycles on the Bath Road, where hundreds of bikers gather to talk all things two wheels. The next generation: Bristol City manager Gerhard Struber met lots of young supporters when the club held its open day at Ashton Gate last weekend, ahead of the Championship season getting under way. Heroes: About 30 Leicester University alumni completed a two-day cycle from the East Midlands city to Bristol to mark 10 years since the death of Dan Hickey, a Bristol resident who studied at the university.
