Mike Sorrentino calls out 'Jersey Shore' costar Vinny Guadagnino
Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is calling out his 'Jersey Shore' castmate Vinny Guadagnino for not bringing him as his plus one to Knicks games.
Guadagnino, a Staten Island native, can be frequently seen cheering on his home team from Celebrity Row at Madison Square Garden — and is allowed to invite a guest, but still hasn't brought Sorrentino.
'During the season, I'm on the wood — courtside. It's an amazing experience there. I try to get these guys to go,' Guadagnino told The Post this week, ahead of Season 8 of 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,' which premieres on MTV on May 29.
'I told you I would go!' Sorrentino shot back.

Guadagnino, who now lives in Soho, explained the reason: his co-star would need too much time to suit up ahead of the game.
'Yeah, but he's like, 'You got to give me advance [notice] for my outfit,'' he said.
But Sorrentino believes his wildly gregarious nature is the real reason behind the snub.
'He's very reserved,' Sorrentino, who lives in Holmdel, NJ, said of his castmate of more than 15 years.
'We went to UFC one time together and he says, 'I am never going out with you ever again.''
'Yeah, because he wore a shirt that looked like this. And it was hard to not spot him,' Guadagnino retorted, pointing to Sorrentino's blue floral-patterned Versace button down.

Guadagnino was at Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, where the Knicks beat the Celtics — taking them to their first Eastern Conference finals since 2000 — and called it 'the most magical game to be at in the last 25 years.'
The reality star is now 'waiting for the right opportunity' to put in a request for tickets to the Eastern Conference finals, where the Knicks are down 0-2 to the Indiana Pacers, and hoping the team doesn't get swept so they return to MSG.
'I don't know, I kind of like space out my appearances. I can't be annoying and be like, 'Can I come, can I come?''
6 Guadagnino was not a fan of the Versace shirt Sorrentino wore when the pair attended a UFC event together in 2024.

He also explained how the seating process works for celebrity Knicks fans.
'They put you within the first couple rows and sometimes you're on the floor. It just depends who's there and stuff. I'm definitely more of the second row kind of guy.'
Another of Guadagnino's castmates, Jenni 'JWoww' Farley is hoping to take him up on the offer.
'I have to go. But he lives in the city, so it's so easy. It's like hours [for me],' said Farley, who also lives in Holmdel.

However, if she attends, the mom of two would avoid being caught on camera.
'Jenni, when she goes to sporting events, she hides in the nosebleeds in a suite. She doesn't like to be on the floor,' Guadagnino noted.
'I'm not the cool kid. I want to be in the hat, hiding,' Farley admitted.
Guadagnino's castmates will be out of luck in the ticket department when the longtime bachelor — who is currently on the celebrity dating app Raya — finds a girlfriend.
6 Guadagnino revealed his celebrity crush — Victoria's Secret model Juliana Nalú.

'Raya's cool. I pay $30 a month to get left on read by a DJ … Every girl's a DJ nowadays,' he said.
At the moment, he has his heart set on one woman — Victoria's Secret model, Juliana Nalú.
'She's my everything. I would sell my soul,' he said.
'Juliana, if you're reading the New York Post, I'm available.'

‘Nip/Tuck' star Dylan Walsh and family involved in Jersey Shore car crash
NEW YORK — Dylan Walsh, an actor best known for playing Dr. Sean McNamara on 'Nip/Tuck,' was involved in a car crash with his family over the weekend along the north Jersey Shore. The accident happened at around 5 p.m. Sunday in Rumson, when a 2022 Ford Explorer with five passengers traveling northbound veered into another lane and struck a utility police along East River Road, the local Patch reported. But the vehicle did not stop there, it continued on until it struck a second utility pole nearby, police said. Photos obtained by TMZ show the SUV with its front end smashed in and one of the utility poles lying on the side of the road. The crash later forced authorities to close down the area until Tuesday while Jersey Central Power & Light crews replaced the damaged utility poles, which left several homes without power. Rumson Police Lt. Christopher Isherwood confirmed two passengers were taken to Riverview Medical Center with complaints of pain in the wake of the incident. The injured were not identified, but authorities have since said the driver of the vehicle was Walsh, who was 'subsequently issued several motor vehicle summonses.' In a statement to People, a representative for the 'Blue Bloods' alum confirmed he was 'involved in a car accident in Rumson.' 'Thankfully, everyone is safe and has since returned home,' the statement continues. 'The family is deeply grateful for the swift response of the Rumson Police, Fire Department, and EMS, as well as the staff at Riverview Medical Center for their care.' The family 'would also like to extend a special thank-you to the management and staff of The River Point Inn for their support in the immediate aftermath,' it concluded. Walsh is married to Leslie Bourque-Walsh and they share daughter Amelie Belle and son Hudson Scott. The actor is also father to Thomas and Joanna Walsh, whom he shares with ex-wife Melora Walters. It's not clear whether any of the kids were in the car at the time of the accident.

Jack White-Trump Feud Erupts Over Gold Oval Office
Jack White and the Trump administration are beefing — again. Donald Trump recently remodeled the Oval Office, covering everything in those gold medallion-thingys, little gold cherub babies, basically gold everything, and people are not happy about it. Jack, a 12-time Grammy award-winning musician, is one of those people. He can't stand Trump's "vulgar" transformation of the Oval Office. "Look at how disgusting trump has transformed the historic White House. It's now a vulgar, gold leafed and gaudy, professional wrestler's dressing room," Jack wrote in an Aug. 19 Instagram post. "Can't wait for the UFC match on the front lawn too, he's almost fully achieved the movie 'Idiocracy.'" The guitarist, who released six studio albums as a solo artist after The White Stripes disbanded, pointed out the president's "disgusting taste," suggesting he's a "conman" who shouldn't be trusted with nuclear codes. "Also pictured in this photograph, a REAL leader of a nation in a black suit," he finished, referencing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sitting beside Trump. The White House caught wind of Jack's viral insult and responded. Steven Cheung, the White House communications director, reportedly told The Daily Beast that Jack is "a washed up, has-been loser posting drivel on social media because he clearly has ample time on his hands due to his stalled career." Defending the president's "guady" gold room, Steven apparently said, "It's apparent he's been masquerading as a real artist, because he fails to appreciate, and quite frankly disrespects, the splendor and significance of the Oval Office inside of 'The People's House.'"' Jack, set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year with Meg White (the other half of the White Stripes), had a lengthy response to the White House's rather brutal rebuttal in an Aug. 20 Instagram post. "Funny that it wasn't me calling out trump's blatant facist manipulation of government, his gestapo ICE tactics, his ractist remarks about Latinos, Native Americans, etc.," he wrote before listing a laundry list of allegations against Trump and his administration including "ignorance of dying children in Sudan, Gaza, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and "constant lying to the American people." "No, it wasn't me calling out any of that, it was the fucking DECOR OF THE OVAL OFFICE remarks I made that got them to respond with insults. How petty and pathetic and thin-skinned could this administration get?" Jack said. In response to the claim Jack is "masquerading as a real artist" he said, "trump is masquerading as a human being." "He's masquerading as a christian, as a leader, as a person with actual empathy. He's been masquerading as a businessman for decades as nothing he's involved in has propsered except by using other people's money to find a loophole after loophole and grift after grift," Jack continued before criticizing Trump's supporters. In the caption of the Instagram post alongside several jarring photos of recent Trump-related news, Jack wrote, "I was raised to believe that we defeated fascism in World War II and that we would never allow it again in the world." Jack's response received praise from some celebrities. Comedian and actor Patton Oswalt wrote, "You hit a fuckin' nerve 'cuz they don't put out statements this length for earthquakes and shootings. Keep going." Actor Beverly D'Angelo wrote, "Thank you Jack. As you always have done, you've given a voice to those who for whatever reason ( including current culturally endemic oppression ) really need it. I needed this. I'm with you. PREACH" Actor Adam Goldberg told Jack to "Keep it up!! 👍 👏" Jack's been a longtime critic of Trump and his administration. Meg and Jack had filed a lawsuit against Trump's 2024 re-election campaign for the use of their hit song "Seven Nation Army." While the lawsuit was dropped, Jack's been rather vocal about his dislike of Trump on social media. Following Trump's 2024 victory over vice president Kamala Harris, Jack was part of several celebrities, including Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, and Cardi B, who spoke out against the Republican victory. Jack wrote in a Nov. 6, 2024, Instagram post, "Trump won the popular vote. End of story. Americans chose a known, obvious fascist and now America will get whatever this wannabe dictator wants to enact from here on in. We all know what he is capable of: Project 2025, deportations, nationwide abortion ban, ending his own 2 term limit, backing Putin and his war, shutting down the Board of Education, adding to climate change, limiting LGBTQ rights, controlling the DOJ, keeping the minimum wage down, etc. etc. etc.." Jack went on to criticize the "rich pricks riding in their Cybertrucks listening to their Rogan and Bannon and Alex jones podcasts laughing all the way to the bank looking foraward to their tax cuts that don't apply to the middle class." Sean O'Malley refuses to count Cory Sandhagen out against Merab Dvalishvili: 'This is his chance'
Along with being a perpetually dangerous sport, MMA is also the entertainment business. New UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev found that out this past weekend, as his title-winning effort against Dricus du Plessis at UFC 319 received ample criticism for arguably lacking the latter. Former bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley understands both sides of the debate, though he also isn't among the chorus jumping out of the woodwork to put "Borz" down for a boring showing. "I get it," O'Malley told Uncrowned. "It was also so impressive because we know how good 'DDP' is. We know how hard he is to hold down. For Chimaev to do that for 25 minutes and not gas out — I mean, for 'DDP' to even be able to come back in the fifth round a little bit and have energy was super impressive. So I was entertained because I know how difficult that is, but also, it's not like you're watching Ilia [Topuria] vs. Charles [Oliveira], Alex Pereira, who's going to go out there and just kill somebody. "You don't really want to see Chimaev go out there and do that again to someone else. But I think he's capable of knocking people out too — he's definitely capable of putting someone's lights out that way — and he really is a finisher. 'DDP' was just that good to not get finished. It made for a boring casual fight, [but] in the moment, I was enjoying it a bit." The contrast between Chimaev and O'Malley as fighters is night and day in almost every possible way. Chimaev's dominant, unstoppable wrestling game is unlike few others in the sport right now, while O'Malley consistently delivers highlights as a knockout artist. Ultimately, a wrestling-heavy style akin to Chimaev's was O'Malley's undoing when he lost his bantamweight title to Merab Dvalishvili last year. But while expectations being placed upon a fighter is a common occurrence, delivering on said expectations is what becomes the tricky part, especially if that fighter reaches the pinnacle of a division. For O'Malley, his story unfolded in a somewhat opposite fashion to Chimaev, as the latter gained the "future champion" label almost immediately upon reaching the UFC. It wasn't until O'Malley became UFC bantamweight king with his knockout of Aljamain Sterling two years ago that he seemingly he gained the respect of the wider MMA world and dropped his underdog status against the division's best. Yet after suffering back-to-back losses against the current champion Dvalishvili, O'Malley acknowledged that he's starting to feel some of those similar detractions from the public creep back toward him. "You put on a certain amount of performances, knock out a certain amount of people — it's kind of expected out of you, and it's always [there]. [But] to actually go out there and do that is very difficult," he said. "So it was kind of nice [before I became champion], people being like, 'Ah, he's going to lose,' and I go out there and knock someone out and they're like, 'What the f***?!' Then it's like, 'Ah, but this [next opponent] is the guy.' Then you go out there and do it again. It does feel good. "Coming off two losses, I'm kind of in that position now too [where the doubt is back]. It was to the same guy, it was to the current champ, it was one of the pound-for-pound best in the world right now, but still." Before O'Malley returns to action with hopes of snapping his two-fight skid, he plans to sit back with the rest of his fellow bantamweight contenders to intently watch Dvalishvili's next defense. At UFC 320, perennial top-ranked 135-pounder Cory Sandhagen steps up to the plate and attempts to halt the champion's historic momentum. Despite having felt firsthand exactly how talented Dvalishvili is, O'Malley isn't expecting Sandhagen to get rolled over in a schoolyard beating. "I just don't count Cory out. He's one of the most skilled guys in the UFC," O'Malley said. "He wants it, he's hungry. This is his chance. You can want to be hungry and have a chance, and then Merab grabs ahold of you and you don't have an answer for it. So, that's a possibility too. Merab is fighting back-to-back-to-back, third fight this year, third weight cut. Weight cuts are no joke, weight cuts are hard. They're not good for you. That could play a role. There's just so much that goes into it, but yeah, I think there's a world where it's very competitive. There's a world where Cory f***ing lands that flying knee right on his chin. There's a world Merab dominates. I could see that fight going any which way." Ultimately, O'Malley still isn't sure what his immediate future holds and doesn't have a dog in the race. For now, he's still hoping to return in November or December, potentially at the start of 2026 at the latest. He plans to talk to the UFC brass in two weeks, but until then, he's readying for the comeback trail. "I don't care [who wins]," O'Malley said of UFC 320. "May the best men win. I still foresee a future where I knock Merab out, so I'm not necessarily rooting for one guy or the other."
