Stretching over 300 acres, the resort boasts something for everyone.
Whist the first house at the site dates back to the 1500s, the hotel didn't open until 2003.
And inside it features sophisticated interiors with sculptures, chandeliers and airy large windows.
There are a number of different rooms available, including 12 newly refurbished suites in the 18th century mansion.
Depending on your mood, visitors can also eat a number of different locations including The Glasshouse, which according to The Grove's website is "one of the world's finest buffets".
And during the summer months, the hotel hosts the 'Feast on Cloud 9'.
Guests can experience a food from the hotel whilst immersed in a fairground-theme outdoor area.
Throughout the experience, visitors will have immersive moments all whilst enjoying a five-course meal or afternoon tea.
It costs £75 per adult and £49.50 per child for the five-course tasting menu.
Alternatively, you could have afternoon tea for £65 per adult and £39.50 per child.
This Hotel is Home to the UK's Only Swim-Up Bar
The hotel is also hosting a new experience called 'Fuego in the Woods', which shares with guests the flavours of Spain.
Across three courses, visitors will have a sharing-style Spanish feast all cooked over wood-fired parrillas with dishes including Barcelona-style flatbread with black garlic aioli, Tomahawk of Hertfordshire beef and a Basque chocolate cheesecake with cherry compote.
There will be live music and drinks across the participating evenings too.
The experience costs £175 per adult or £100 per child.
Back at the hotel, there is also a spa onsite which offers a range of facilities including a 22-metre-long UV-filtered pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
One of the real hidden gems of the site is the walled garden - home to a heated outdoor pool, private beach and kitchen garden.

This year, the beach has a fresh new look and a dedicated treatment space.
The day beds include premium, classic and family options that cost from £60 to £190, depending on whether you book them for a day or half-day.
Each booking also comes with still and sparking water, fruit skewers, coconut water, face spray and cocktails.

Whilst there, guests can also indulge themselves with a 'Sequoia on the Beach Massage' - which focuses on the décolletage, neck, shoulders, face, scalp and arms.
For those who like golf, The Grove is home to one of the UK's most prestigious golf courses, with 18 holes.
In fact, in 2006, the resort hosted The World Golf Championships, which were won by Tiger Woods.
Previous guests have included cast members of Harry Potter - as 'The Making of Harry Potter' is nearby at Leavesden Studios - and Barack Obama during a presidential visit with Prime Minister David Cameron.
It isn't only prestigious guests the resort is used to - there have also been a number of notable events at The Grove.

The Grove Hotel went viral for one of it's restaurants
THE Sun's assistant travel editor Sophie Swietochowski experienced the buffet last year - here's what she thought.
As The Sun travel desk's resident foodie, I could hardly resist trying the UK's fanciest buffet, also one of the world's most expensive.
The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire went viral earlier last year when TikTok foodies discovered its Glasshouse restaurant where everyone dines en masse, but in five-star luxury.
It even featured in Netflix's 'Million Dollar Buffet' documentary with Grace Dent.
Costing a whopping £82 per person at the weekend, there is certainly enough to choose from.
After several, overly-generous spoonfuls of caviar, a few servings of beetroot-cured salmon and seven superbly crafted sushi rolls, decorated with dainty herbs, I felt I'd made a good dent in 'getting my money's worth' – a statement that had been thrown back and forth between my buffet partner, Mum, and I.
So the real question is: is it really worth the cash?
It's a thought that's difficult to get out of my head, even though, as a self-proclaimed foodie, I'd normally spend at least this amount on a boozy dinner with friends.
But £82 does feel like a lot for what I'd previously have defined as 'just a buffet'.
Although, if you visit for dinner mid-week, as opposed to the weekend, you can knock £17 off this price.
I'd planned what I thought was an adequate two and a half hours to properly tackle that evening's dinner, but an extra hour would have been more appropriate if I wanted to take it at a more relaxed pace – and squeeze in an extra few hundred calories. Isn't that what buffet dining is all about?
Still, despite the steep price, I think I'll be booking a table for my birthday next year – and this time I'm aiming for five plates instead of four.

These include NATO's 70th annual meeting.
And for the final of the UEFA Euros, the England National Football Team stayed at the hotel.
In 2023, the resort celebrated 20 years since it opened and also received a plethora of awards.
The Grove also revealed its newly renovated Sequoia spa after a £1.6million refurbishment.
There is a posh UK spa hotel praised by mums as perfect for kids – thanks to an Ofsted creche, huge playbarn and early teatime.
Plus, the English hotel with one of the UK's poshest spas… but it's only for dogs.

Osteria Mucca
✍️ Time Out Sydney never writes starred restaurant and bar reviews from hosted experiences – Time Out covers restaurant and bar bills, and anonymously reviews, so that readers can trust our critique. Find out more, here. There are a lot of beautiful dining rooms in Sydney – the kind that, when you step inside, whisk you away to another world; where thoughts of to-do lists and Everest-like piles of laundry melt away like lemon granita under the Amalfi sun. Bennelong, tucked within the city's white sails, is one of them. So too is the coastal kitsch of Sean's in Bondi. Osteria Mucca, a charming trattoria from the Continental Deli crew that opened in April this year, is another such room. Found on Newtown 's happening Australia Street, the 50-seat Italian restaurant had a past life as a butcher. Those 115-year-old forest-green-and-white tiles are the originals. Candles flicker on top of white tablecloths, Art Deco-style vintage lights hang from the ceiling – creating the perfect dinner-date glow – and vintage plates jazz up the walls. This is the work of Sarah Doyle, co-owner and creative director of Paisano & Daughters, who has a knack for creating venues with their own soul. (It just takes one peep into siblings and neighbours – eclectic fisherman's den Mister Grotto, honey-hued plant celebration Flora, and Continental Deli with its big Euro energy – to fully appreciate her talent.) The room feels like an occasion, so we bypass the Limoncello Spritz and Mucca Martini in favour of a glass of Sella & Mosca's sparkling from Sardinia, poured (and appreciated) tableside. Cheers. The timeless space isn't the only thing I'm a big fan of Leading the kitchen is Janina Allende, who ran the pass at Sydney favourite Pellegrino 2000 for more than two years, and also spent time on the pans at Alberto's Lounge and Bar Vincent. At Osteria Mucca, Allende is spotlighting regional Italian classics, with home-style recipes and handmade pasta. In a nod to the restaurant's former life – and because the group knows their way around meat (Osteria Mucca shares DNA with the award-winning Porteño) – they also do all their butchery in-house. FYI – 'Mucca' means 'cow' in Italian. But we start with land and sea – a riff on puntarelle alla Romana, which sees ribbon-like curls of the slightly bitter, crunchy and cool puntarelle coated in a punchy anchovy dressing tempered with creamy, veneer-white buffalo mozzarella. So good. Meanwhile, hunks of pickled cauliflower, carrot and onion rest atop a smooth, nutty fava bean dip doused in olive oil, and are best mopped up with a crusty ciabatta roll that the team source from Brickfields. Next comes our cotechino – a dish that tastes both new and familiar. Soft, house-made pork sausage meat fragrant with cinnamon, clove and nutmeg rests on a bed of slow-cooked buttery-sweet lentils and vegetables. It's adorned with a vivid salsa verde, chewy mustard fruits and delicate shavings of horseradish. Originating from northern Italy, cotechino con lenticchie is traditionally eaten on New Year's Eve; the coin-shaped lentils symbolising wealth and prosperity. I say to our waiter it tastes like Christmas, and he says it's a hit then, too. Also a hit: our bottle of 2022 Montesecondo Rosso sangiovese from Tuscany that's cherry-red and lovely with soft tannins. Ping-pong-shaped balls of ricotta gnudi, so soft you can cut them with a spoon, sit in a pool of browned butter and topped with crisp sage leaves and thin shavings of lemon rind that cleverly cut through and lift. This, and whatever season of Survivor, and you can stick a fork in me – I'm done Formidable pastry chef Lauren Eldridge is behind the desserts at Osteria Mucca (and the three other Paisano & Daughters venues), which features house-made gelato (right now it's grapefruit); cassata with ricotta, chocolate and candied fruit; and bonèt alla Piemontese – a chocolate and amaretti custard topped with marsala Chantilly. If I wasn't stuffed like a, well, gnudi, I'd go for one of those. On this Tuesday night, the room hums with songs my grandparents would have danced to, the clink of glassware and the laughter of friends. There's not a table free. I say goodbye to the team, pull on my coat, step into the fresh night air – and glance back one last time. For a few hours it was all about that bellissimo dining room, those knockout gnudi and the person across from me. That's the power of a great restaurant. Now, back to life admin.

Best new mobile games on iOS and Android – July 2025 round-up
July is a bumper month for smartphone games, including the all-new Persona 5: The Phantom X for iOS and Android. Although the summer months are traditionally a period when video game release schedules enter their version of hibernation, on mobile things are still bustling. Supercell in particular have been busy, with a major update for the ailing Boom Beach and an even bigger one for Clash Royale; that adds a new turn-based auto battler game mode based on Clash Mini, a game the developer abandoned last year following a multi-country test launch. Also out this month is the English subtitled version of Persona 5: The Phantom X, which is far from ruined by the addition of light gacha mechanics; the Apple Arcade version of Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance TD; and a fresh outing in the excellent Meteorfall deck builder series, Rustbowl Rumble. iOS, free – full game £4.99 (SMG Studios) Marooning you light years from Earth, No Way Home is a twin stick shooter with role-playing elements, blending exploration and shooting with an addictive drip feed of upgrades for your ship, each of which looks, sounds, and feels satisfyingly consequential. Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. Delivered to your inbox every Saturday morning. Appropriately for a game focused on shooting, weapons handling and the feel of piloting your ship are refined and responsive, working perfectly on touchscreen and obviating the need for a Bluetooth controller. Although the majority of missions boil down to flying somewhere and shooting up a bunch of aliens, the wry script and voice acting help provide a solid distraction, in this polished and hugely entertaining mobile port, that was previously only available to Apple Arcade subscribers. Score: 8/10 iOS, free – full game £6.99 (Luke Muscat) Borrowing some of its mechanics from the relatively little known Ocean Keeper: Dome Survival, Feed The Deep has you diving into darkened, procedurally generated 2D cave systems in search of a giant beast, and a morsel to drop into its maw. To do that you'll need to power up your diver, boosting oxygen tanks, swimming speed, and the ability to drag heavier loads of treasure to the surface with you, using bombs to blast new paths through the subterranean water-filled maze. With a gradually escalating sense of difficulty and complexity, the sense of progression, as you tease the secrets out of each labyrinth while making sure you don't accidentally drown or get eaten by squid-like monsters, proves compelling. Score: 8/10 iOS & Android, free (Sega) Already out in open beta for a year in Asia, The Phantom X worldwide release retains the original Japanese voice acting, but now features well translated English subtitles, in a game that retains the style and gameplay of the long running Persona franchise. It effortlessly blends mundane secondary school shenanigans with more fantastical goings on, while maintaining the series' mechanically involved turn-based combat, albeit adding gacha microtransactions, which for once feels relatively inoffensive. The only time its monetisation gets in the way is deliberate level gating that forces you either to pay or endure days of relatively uninspiring grind, a process that's additionally hampered by the slowly regenerating stamina that governs whether you can collect rewards at the end of levels. Still, if you love Persona, this supplies a new set of interesting characters and successfully translates the flair of Persona 5 into a portable format, although it also features cross-save functionality with the PC version. Score: 7/10 iOS & Android, free trial – full game £9.99 (Noodlecake) Originally released on PC nearly a decade ago, the wonderfully named Ultimate Chicken Horse is an absurdist party game for two to four players. Starting on the left of the screen, each player grabs a prop, which could be a door, a platform, a deadly spiked ball, or any number of other comedy objects, to position it on the screen. The aim is to collaborate in building a path to the goal on the right of the screen, while making it as hard as possible for other players to get there with you. Its fast-paced gameplay and cute hand-animated art style emphasise the humour, but playing against online opponents removes the fun and banter of same-screen couch multiplayer. Although local play is possible, all of you will need to buy the game, cranking the cost up to untenable levels. It's a great game but one that's not well suited to mobile. Score: 6/10 iOS, included with Apple Arcade subscription (Ironhide Studios) Ironhide Studios' Kingdom Rush series is the unchallenged king of tower defence games, letting you build and upgrade turrets while also commanding heroes, spells, and support troops that you can guide individually around the battlefield. Outside battle you'll be selecting buffs and new skills for your heroes and towers, and purchasing consumables to get you out of any especially tight spots you might encounter. The only thing that used to rankle about Kingdom Rush: Alliance TD was its insistence on trying to flog you add-ons – including heroes that would otherwise be inaccessible – even though it was already a paid-for game. The Apple Arcade version naturally nixes all that, instantly making it the definite version of the game. Score: 8/10 iOS & Android, £6.99 (Slothwerks) More Trending Rustbowl Rumble is the latest deck builder to emerge in the gradually expanding Meteorfall franchise. Like its predecessors, this is a turn-based card battler, but this time fights involve up to four pugilists on each team. As well as paying careful attention to the turn order, to make sure your attacks, defences, and healing occur in time to be useful, there are also wild cards that change the rules for a single turn, and feats demanded by the crowd, which can bring fairly hefty bonuses if you manage to complete them. There's such a huge range of combinations of brawlers, perks, attacks, status effects, and buffs that you'll keep discovering new approaches to even after many hours of play. A genuinely deep and complex mobile strategy game, with pleasing handcrafted visuals. Score: 8/10 Email gamecentral@ leave a comment below, follow us on Twitter.
