During the sit-down, Christopher shared that his transformation took over five years.
"It was a big process," he told Shriver, and host Jeff Beacher, per People. "I started in 2019 when I was living in Australia. I was on this big trip. I made it a big [deal] like, 'Oh, I'm going to go out and do all this stuff, be in Australia,' and I just saw how much my weight was prohibiting me from doing the everyday activities."
For Christopher, losing weight was "not an overnight thing."
"It took a lot of trial and error," he admitted before making a bold confession. "And even still to this day ... when you're saying, oh, before and after photos ... I don't feel like I'm an after yet. I don't feel like I'm at the point."
Interestingly, cutting out one thing from his diet helped Christopher drop 30 pounds in less than two months.
"Weirdly enough, I gave up bread for Lent," he revealed.
"I was like, 'Well, if I'm giving up bread, I might as well just take the opportunity and I'm a good Catholic boy, so I'm not going to break it,'" Christopher added. "And that was my one rule. I was like, 'I'm not going to break Lent.' And so I lost 30 pounds just through that."
In addition to Christopher, Arnold and Shriver share three children, , 35, Christina, 33, and , 31. Arnold also shares a son, , 27, with Mildred Patricia Baena.

Fans React to Judge Dismissing Justin Baldoni's $400 Million Lawsuit Against Blake Lively

Justin Baldoni's $400 million lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds has been tossed out by a judge — and fans aren't holding back their opinions. On Monday, June 9, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed the defamation and extortion countersuit filed by Baldoni, 41, and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, against Lively, 37, her husband Ryan Reynolds, 48, and her publicist, Leslie Sloane. The judge also threw out a separate $250 million claim against The New York Times. The court of public opinion is divided as fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts on this new ruling. Some people were happy for the Gossip Girl alum and felt she was finally vindicated. 'If Baldoni's case had credibility, the judge wouldn't have tossed it out,' one fan wrote. 'That's a big win for blake,' a second commented. Another declared, 'Seemed pretty thin from the beginning. Glad it was thrown out.' However, many came to the Jane the Virgin actor's defense. 'It doesn't matter…the world sees blake and Ryan for who they are and they are not supported,' one person wrote. 'This is a technicality….Justin will still have support of the people when this is over. #staystrongjustin.' 'Who says money can't buy you everything,' a second commented. 'Justin Baldoni's countersuit being dismissed DOES NOT mean Blake Lively is telling the truth,' a third fan noted. 'It just shows sexual assault claims—YET TO BE PROVEN—are generally protected.' In his filing, obtained by People, Judge Liman explained, 'The Wayfarer Parties have not alleged that Lively is responsible for any statements other than the statements in her CRD complaint, which are privileged.' 'The Wayfarer Parties have alleged that Reynolds and Sloane made additional statements accusing Baldoni of sexual misconduct and that the 'Times' made additional statements accusing the Wayfarer Parties of engaging in a smear campaign,' he continued. 'But the Wayfarer Parties have not alleged that Reynolds, Sloane or the Times would have seriously doubted these statements were true based on the information available to them, as is required for them to be liable for defamation under applicable law.' According to People, Lively's legal team said that the ruling was a 'total victory and a complete vindication' for the actress. While Baldoni's lawyers have yet to make a public statement, they have until Monday, June 23, to file an amendment. The legal drama between the two stars began in December 2024, when Lively filed a lawsuit alleging that Baldoni sexually harassed her on the set of their film It Ends With Us. Baldoni, who also directed the film, denied the allegations and filed a $400 million countersuit in January 2025.

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert's Twins Steal the Show as They Mark Major Royal Milestone

Twins Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella recently turned the landmark age of 10 years old. The two have had many first lately, ranging from their first Holy Communion to a major royal milestone over the weekend. Jacques and Gabriella took part alongside their parents Princess Charlene and Prince Albert in a state visit with French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, First Lady Brigitte Macron, on June turning the milestone age of 10 last December, twins Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco continue to achieve royal firsts—and accomplished another one this week alongside their parents Prince Albert and Princess Charlene. On June 7, the twins were on hand to welcome the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, and his wife Brigitte Macron for the Macrons' state visit to Monaco—the first time, per Hello!, that the royal children had taken part in a state visit. The Macrons sweetly chatted with Jacques and Gabriella, and Gabriella thoughtfully presented flowers to the First Lady upon her arrival. The French couple is in Monaco to bolster the 'strong ties' between France and Monaco, Hello! reported. For the occasion Saturday, Charlene understood the assignment and wore a mint Dior jacket and a pair of tan trousers, and later changed to a stunning red gown for a state dinner in the Throne Room of their palace in Monte Carlo. Per Vanity Fair, this was the first time that the royal family of Monaco hosted a state dinner with a French leader in more than 40 years. Though Jacques and Gabriella were present earlier in the day, they didn't attend the state dinner alongside their parents. When speaking to La Gazette de Monaco about which achievements he's been most proud of in his 20-year reign, Albert said, touchingly, 'What I am most proud of is my marriage and my children, first and foremost.' He also added to the Monaco Tribune that his twins 'help keep me young, too. They take some keeping up with.' Turning 10 and being a part of their first state visit aren't Jacques and Gabriella's only milestones lately. They also, per Tatler, recently took part in their first Holy Communion, a significant step for Catholic children like the twins. 'The conversations I have with Jacques and those with Gabriella are so different, as well as the time spent with them,' Charlene recently said. 'Gabriella is very curious. She is intrigued by the world and life in general.' As for her son, 'he is curious and observant, more reserved,' Charlene said. 'He is naturally very calm.' Charlene also admitted that it was 'difficult to find time to spend one-on-one' with the twosome, which she had found 'essential when you are the parent of twins.' Of the state visit over the weekend, the twins were mentioned for their significant milestone, with the royal family of Monaco writing on social media that 'Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella were also present to greet the presidential couple, demonstrating the familial and solemn character of this official reception.' 'This meeting illustrates the continuity of a relationship based on shared values, mutual trust, and a shared willingness to build together answers to great contemporary challenges,' the post continued. Man Joins Wife's Pilates Class to Prove It's 'Easy.' He Gets Humbled When He Walks Out on Shaky Legs (Exclusive)

Zach Webber filmed a skit joining his wife Liz's pilates class — but the pain was real. The viral TikTok shows Zach getting hilariously humbled while Liz skips out refreshed. He now has a whole new respect for Liz's workouts — and maybe pilates, Webber thought he was in for a relaxing workout when he joined his wife, Liz, for pilates — what he got was a viral humbling and a whole new level of respect. The viral TikTok video they posted — captioned 'It's 6:00 AM, time to prove to my wife that pilates is easy' — shows Zach walking confidently into class, and limping out with a new outlook. On the other hand, Liz skips out of the studio, declaring, 'Such a relaxing class,' while Zach stares at her in disbelief. 'Liz had been telling me about her pilates class for months, and she kind of found a passion in it,' Zach shares exclusively with PEOPLE. 'She'd been asking me to come join her. So I was like, okay, let's do it.' While the video was filmed like a comedy sketch, the reactions were the real deal. 'I did think it was going to be easier than it was,' Zach admits. 'It was surprising. It's not easy.' Even though the couple filmed the skit after class to be respectful of the other participants, the sweat and grimaces weren't just for show. 'Holding a lunge in a single position for over a minute or doing some of the stuff with the bands that I'd never done… Those were very real reactions,' Zach says. Liz could barely keep a straight face watching her husband struggle. 'I kept looking over at him being like, well, I told you,' she laughs. 'It's hard for me too… I just started in November. My core and everything has been tough getting it back. So looking over, I'm like, see, it's not just me.' Zach's biggest surprise came from the reformer machine itself. 'We did the reformer pilates, which was a big machine, and that stuff was complicated,' he says. 'Doing stuff on that machine with moving parts and cables and the ropes and all that… It was a totally new experience.' He adds, 'There was a learning curve there for sure. I was definitely slamming the carriage and all of the beginner things that are typical.' And while he's done everything from yoga to weightlifting and running, Zach says nothing really prepared him for this. 'It definitely works different muscles in a different way,' he says. 'It's refreshing and different.' Liz has been consistent with her pilates practice since their second child was born. 'I just had our second, who's now eight months old. That's when I started… and it feels so good after. I'm obsessed.' For Zach, the experience was more than a workout — it was a relationship check-in and has given him a new perspective on his wife's strength. 'Since having our second baby, she's really taken her fitness seriously… and knowing how difficult it is, she's extremely impressive,' he shares. Having Zach join Liz's class — grippy socks and all — meant a lot to the mom of two. 'We're both busy, so it meant a lot that he came out and did it with me,' she says. 'I also feel like whenever I come home from class, I'm like, 'Oh, yeah, we did this.' And he's like, 'Oh yeah,' like he gets it now.' Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. The two have been together 16 years, married for eight, and prioritize trying new things together. 'We try to do new things like this together when we can get time for each other, even if it's something as simple as going to a workout class and getting coffee after,' Zach says. 'That kind of stuff's really important to us.' Zach hasn't ruled out joining Liz again — even if it's not a regular thing. 'If it weren't as far away as it is, because it is like a 20, 30 minute drive, I would probably be doing it more with her,' he said. 'It's a cool way to mix things up if you're stuck in a workout rut.' And for any guys still doubting pilates, Zach has one message: 'Go try it with no pre-judgment and just see if you like it.' Liz agrees. 'It's not just for the girls, too. I feel like incorporating that even once a week, a couple of times a month, is just so good… it does so many different things for you than your typical workouts.' But if you think you're just in for a spa day, beware. 'When I walked in, I was like, this is going to be even easier than I thought it was going to be,' Zach says. 'It felt so calm and peaceful… and then you start sweating like crazy and your abs are shaking and you're like, oh wait, this isn't serene.' Read the original article on People
