Rangers appoint new boss Russell Martin on three-year contract
He will be joined at Ibrox by assistant head coach Matt Gill and performance coach Rhys Owen.

Martin guided Southampton to promotion to the Premier League last year but was sacked in December following one win from their first 16 games.
Rangers finished last season under the caretaker management of former captain Barry Ferguson, having dismissed Philippe Clement in February.
Ex-Scotland defender Martin, who had a short loan spell as a player at Rangers in 2018, is tasked with wrestling power back from the other side of Glasgow after Celtic's stranglehold on Scottish football continued with a 13th William Hill Premiership title in 14 seasons.

'Now, as I return, I'm determined to bring success back, for the supporters, the players, and everyone inside this club.

Martin's arrival is the latest in a series of major changes at the club.
An American consortium led by Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises secured a majority shareholding on Friday, while new sporting director Kevin Thelwell officially began work on Monday.
Rangers chief executive Patrick Stewart, who led the recruitment process alongside Thelwell, said: 'Our criteria for our next coach were clear: we wanted a coach who will excel in terms of how we want to play, improve our culture, develop our squad, and ultimately win matches. Russell was the standout candidate.'

Holidaymakers warned ahead of summer strike action at Glasgow Airport
Unite the union said workers at Glasgow Airport, ICTS Central Search, Swissport, Menzies Aviation and Falck could be balloted for walkouts. The union said on Saturday that if there is no successful resolution to the disputes in the coming days, it will move towards holding votes on industrial action within two weeks. It warned strikes could 'ground planes and passengers'. More than 100 Swissport workers are locked in a dispute about rotas and work-life balance, according to Unite. It said the company 'is demanding that workers at extreme short notice have to work shifts at various times and for various durations, which is directly impacting on their personal lives'. Unite said some Swissport staff are 'struggling with chronic fatigue'. A further 250 ICTS Central Search workers, who deal with passengers directly in the security search area and process them for flights, are currently involved in a dispute over under-staffing, working conditions and pay. A total of 120 workers employed by Glasgow Airport Limited have rejected a basic 3.6% pay increase, with staff including airport ambassadors, airside support officers, engineers and managers involved. The same 3.6% pay increase was rejected by 50 Falck firefighters who perform fire safety functions at the airport. Meanwhile 300 Menzies Aviation workers, including dispatchers, allocators, airside agents and controllers, have rejected a basic uplift worth around 4.25%. Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: 'Hundreds of workers at Glasgow Airport are heading towards summer strike action which would ground planes and passengers. 'The companies involved are all highly profitable and can easily afford to give our members better pay and working conditions. 'The truth is that they are denying fair pay increases to cynically boost their profits.' Mr McIlvogue said: 'Unite is in dispute with companies at Glasgow Airport which could ultimately bring hundreds of workers out on strike. 'The companies can resolve these disputes with Unite before that situation happens by addressing the legitimate concerns and pay aspirations of our members. 'If the companies refuse to work with Unite to resolve these disputes, then we will have no option but to open strike ballots. This could mean strike action happening from the middle of July.' A spokesperson for Swissport said: 'We are in dialogue with Unite – the talks so far have been constructive and we remain focused on working together to address the issues being raised.' Medal awarded day of Bradford City stadium fire up for sale
Bradford City defender Tony Clegg's winner medal is set to be sold at McTear's Auctioneers in Glasgow on June 19 as part of its Sporting History Auction. Tony was part of the club's 1984/85 Third Division title-winning team. Tony said: "This medal represents the pinnacle of my footballing career, but it's impossible to separate it from the heartbreak we all experienced that day. "I've kept it for four decades, and I now feel the time is right to pass it to someone who understands both the pride and the pain tied to that season." The fire, which started during the match against Lincoln City, is still one of the most tragic days in British sporting history. With no substitute available, Tony stepped in to play in goal and kept a clean sheet as Bradford secured a 2-0 win. Tony played for Bradford City from 1983 to 1987, scoring two goals in his 48 league appearances. His medal is expected to fetch between £700 and £1,000.
