Supernatural? Lights flicker at Tiffany Meek's bail verdict

A viral video has captured the moments the lights flickered in the Roodepoort Magistrates Court, where Tiffany Meeks's bail verdict was heard. The Johannesburg mother is accused of murdering her son, Jayden-Lee Meek, after reporting him missing.
Tiffany is also accused of concealing evidence and attempting to 'mislead' the court.
She has been denied bail.
On a video posted by female 'Crimetoker' @rockyfairy, a scene of Tiffany Meek sitting through her bail verdict has attracted attention. In it, the lights above her and the rest of the gallery flicker on and off several times.
'What is going on?' she captioned the clip. @rockfairy_0 guys whats going on this happened in joslin smith case too.. thoughts?? . . . . . . .#justiceforjaydenleemeek #justiceforjaydenleemeek #fyp #truecrime #southafricatiktok #afrikaanstiktoks #news #breakingnews #spooky #fypシ #Tiffanymeek #CapCut ♬ Creepy and simple horror background music(1070744) – howlingindicator
In the comments section, many followers believed the flickering lights were a 'sign' from Tiffany's deceased son, Jayden-Lee Meek.
@nafiesanatha: 'Jayden made his presence known from the other side.'
@roslyng1305: 'As an empath/healer/spiritual being, this is when a spirit is around. I am certain Jayden Lee Meek was there.'
@patriciamagqi281: 'I just got goosebumps! It's definitely a sign!'.
After the lights flicked, Magistrate Annelin Africa apologised to the courtroom for the 'electrical interruption'.
The court briefing adjourned to tend to the issue. Tiffany Meek wept in court after being denied bail.

According to many spiritually aware individuals, flickering lights may indicate the presence of supernatural spirits 'communicating' from the spirit realm.
The timing of the incident – during Tiffany Meek's tense court appearance – has led many South Africans to believe that this could be the case.
Higher Perspectives states: 'If you only notice lights flickering when you're doing some emotionally charged thinking, if you have a loved one who's passed away on your mind, or you're debating a big life decision, for example, it might not be a coincidence.
'Flickering lights most often point to a spiritual guide making us aware of their presence in some way. It's a way for the unseen to interact with the physical world using energy, the medium through which we all connect'.
Ironically, the flickering lights experienced during Tiffany Meek's bail verdict was also noticed during a court appearance by the trio convicted of being behind Joslin Smith's disappearance.
In May, a viral video showed a light flickering on and off in the Western Cape High Court above the heads of Kelly Smith, Jacquin 'Boeta' Appollis, and Steveno van Rhyn. In the clip, Kelly glances up at the light.
A recent development revealed that Joslin's mother, Kelly, allegedly told police she had a 'dream' of where her child's remains were buried. @rockfairy_0 the fact that steveno even noticed lol.. . . . . . . . .#joslinsmith #truecrime #southafricatiktok #afrikaanstiktoks #news #courtroom #crimetok #missingchild #fyp #truecrime #southafricatiktok #afrikaanstiktoks #news #courtroom #kellysmith #fypシ゚ #meme #darkhumor .#CapCut ♬ Me and the Devil – Soap&Skin

EFF welcomes Parliamentary Committee to investigate corruption and infiltration in law enforcement

EFF supports parliamentary investigation into law enforcement corruption Image: Ayanda Ndamane/ Independent Media The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has expressed its support for the newly established Ad Hoc Committee in the South African National Assembly, tasked with investigating serious allegations of corruption, criminal syndicate infiltration, and political interference within the country's law enforcement agencies. The committee is set to commence its work on Tuesday. In a statement issued on Monday by EFF spokesperson Sinawo Thambo, the party lauded the move as a critical step toward addressing the deep-rooted issues plaguing South Africa's justice system. The party warned that the committee's formation aligns with the EFF's longstanding call for a transparent and urgent parliamentary investigation into explosive revelations made by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. "We welcome the National Assembly's unanimous resolution to establish this committee, as a necessary first step in unearthing the rot that has destroyed the very foundations of justice and accountability in this country," Thambo stated. He underscored that the investigation will focus on the disbandment of the Political Killings Task Team and other critical issues raised by Mkhwanazi, highlighting concerns over relationships between senior police leadership and certain members of the public, as well as infiltration into the judiciary. Thambo warned that the revelations threaten to erode public trust in South Africa's criminal justice system. "This is about whether South Africans can believe that the institutions charged with protecting them are not themselves captured by criminal interests," he said. The EFF leader also criticised Parliament's previous shortcomings, citing failures to act decisively during pivotal moments, such as the Section 89 independent report on the Phala Phala scandal and responses to the State Capture Commission's findings. "These failures highlight how Parliament often functions less as an independent oversight body and more as an extension of the Executive," Thambo remarked. He stressed the importance of the committee's leadership and composition. Given the gravity of the allegations, including potential misconduct by the Minister of Police and other senior government figures, the EFF advocates for a chairperson who is not affiliated with the Government of National Unity (GNU). "The credibility of this committee depends on its independence," Thambo asserted. The party called on all committee members to prioritise truth and transparency over political allegiance. "This is an opportunity for Parliament to demonstrate that it can rise above partisanship and serve the national interest," Thambo urged. The EFF also pledged full participation in the investigation, vowing to scrutinise all officials and ensure that no one, regardless of rank or party, is shielded from accountability. "We will ensure that South Africa's policing and justice systems are restored to serve the people, free from corruption and criminal influence," Thambo affirmed. [email protected] IOL Politics

Reality TV star Wandi Ndlovu is set to appear in court this week after an incident involving her uncle's stabbing in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, along with other family members. The self-described sugar baby and personality on Showmax's controversial show This Body Works for Me is drawing public attention with the case. The 26-year-old, her mother, and her sister, Ntombifuthi Ndlovu, are being held behind bars following an alleged violent family altercation in Katlehong. This altercation left her uncle, Linda Ndlovu, dead. The trio is expected to make a court appearance tomorrow at Palm Ridge Court as investigations continue. He was reportedly playing loud music when his sister (Wandi's mom) went to ask him to lower the volume. An argument broke out, and Linda allegedly struck his sister on the head with a golf club. Bleeding and injured, she returned to the main house. That's allegedly when Wandi, her sister Ntombifuthi, and another sister, who is currently in Grade 11 allegedly went to confront their uncle. 'One of them stabbed the uncle during the confrontation,' said a family insider. When paramedics arrived, it was too late to take him to the hospital. The Grade 11 sibling, who is a minor, has since been released from custody. This is especially after a voice recording surfaced online, allegedly of Wandi's aunt (her mother's sister), who was an eyewitness to the entire incident. The late uncle Linda is believed to have been the breadwinner. Wandi relocated and is mostly based in Nigeria and claimed she got married. He was living in the back room and was said to be providing financial support to some members of the family. The house was reportedly newly built by Wandi after her return from Nigeria. She was working as an adult entertainer and had recently BBL surgery and other changes. While South Africans await official police comment, many have taken to social media. They express anger, disbelief, and sorrow over the killing.
